Help building an app

Hi everyone, apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to post this.
I just landed a nexus 10 and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in working together on an application. I run an art studio and essentially need an application that would tie all my departments together (gallery, enrollment, studio, etc) so that all departments could see the same relevant information across one app. For anyone interested I can go into greater detail. This would initially be more proof of concept and perhaps an opportunity for new developers to learn.
There's a possibility in the future this will be implemented across nexus devices in the studio for which my goal is to naturally pay the developers for their hard work. As it stands this is a personal effort on my end to see if we can work together and learn. Thanks everyone!

[Q] Books / Guides / Etc. on Learning Android

Hi guys
So I'm on my second semester of Java here in Denmark, but now the summer holiday is up and I thought I'd start out learning to code Android as I have a few ideas, and also to keep me going
However, what are the main differences regarding Java on the computer platform and on the Android platform? Any good sites that have step-by-step guys and/or any good books that are up to day (only ones I could find was for GB etc.) and so forth.
Any help will be appreciated!
Kind regards
Neefy
Bump, still searching

nikwen from this forum showed me this tutorial http://www.javacodegeeks.com/2011/06/android-game-development-tutorials.html, maybe it will be helpful.
There are books like android programming for dummies or beginning android games 2nd edition that you can check out also.
For app dev, "Android Programming" by THE BIG NERD RANCH GUIDE is really good.
Google it you should find it easily.
The Vogella tutorials are great (especially if you are no newbie in Java). Google "vogella".
The link Wampirate posted is great for games.
Thank you all, I'll go check them all out

What is difference Between AOSP and AOPK?

Hello Guys.
What is different between them?

Hi! Did you know that the company behind the operating system you are using is sort of famous for this little thing called a search engine? Crazy, I know.
AOSP is android open source project (thank you Google for letting me know that after typing some words in a box). It is what android as you see it is built from.
AOKP is an open source project by some creative individuals that takes aosp source and modifies it to give the use an enhanced experience. It has lots of toggles and options to customize your device.
3 minutes with Google would have answered all your questions.

[Q] Recruiting Developers for Unofficial XBMC Development

I'm from the largest unofficial XBMC development web site and we're currently looking for people to work with us on the development of our Kodi-fork called TVMC. We're also always looking for Python or Windows and Mac developers as well. It would be great for people looking for hands on experience, or to fill up some free time doing something cool.
Millions of people use our stuff daily, and our numbers are growing by the day, but we could really use more help. If you'd be interested, feel free to Contact Us through our web form as soon as possible: http://www.tvaddons.ag/contact-us/
If you haven't heard of XBMC (now Kodi) check out our Installation Guides, if you're on Android or Mac just install the TVMC version: http://www.tvaddons.ag/install-kodi/
Thank you for your support!
