hi. i have N9005 with Knox 0x0 on lollipop. Detail of firmware is in my signature.
My phone has multi csc. currently set to default csc XSI but i want to change it to PAK (it has PAK csc in it).
please guide me how to change it. *#272*IME# not working, will it trip knox?
is there a way to modify csc on pc and then repack cache.img.ext4 to .tar file and flash it through odin?

Flash stock rom with correct csc through odin .
Or cut and paste csc to system root.

Released yesterday evening. You can root it using the tutorial posted on xda itself which utilizes the stock recovery itself. I've rooted mine that way only. Works great. Battery life's also improved.
I rooted my phone via this by flashing XWLPW-DBT ICS 4.0.4

No DDLPC is the new indian csc version. Modem is DDLPB.
This can been rooted easily by methods already posted on xda.

download modem and flash it using odin (select "phone" option ).
Cm10 rom doesn't have inbuilt modem so any modem you flash will stay there irrespective of how many times you install nightlies or somethings. You can flash any modem like this,there's no problem in flashing modems over cm10
for csc select csc option in odin of download app for that but I am not sure how much it will help as personally I don't feel that csc matter a lot as I used to flash European roms and they worked fine irrespective of csc and if you are flashing csc to avoid ril crashes on cm 10 then it may not help you.
NOTE: flashing csc will wipe data so be careful.
You can give it a try yourself.

Thanks. I'm actually running on cm10 now so I don't need to root my phone or anything.. however I wanted to check how we can get the csc out and install it on my phone. I managed to extract the modem and install it already.

here you have a pre-rooted ROM ME2 ( Credits to : @djembey ) you need odin 3.04 to flash it , and after flash this ROM make full wipes !!!

I was also running the mdm version and flashed the pre rooted rom a few hours ago. Had no proplems and the rom is fast and stable. So it should work just fine for you :thumbup:

The stock firmware for my GT-I9505 (S4) is currently 4.3. In lots of European country's (and outside the EU) are getting 4.4.2 already.
I guess The Netherlands is one of the last on the list because it still isn't available (not even listed on SamMobile).
Which country (Germany, Brazil and go on) does already have 4.4.2 which are the same as the NL 4.4.2 version? (SamsungMobile confirmed on Twitter that there might be differences between all the versions). So how do I know which one is the same as NL version?
If u want to flash firmware of different region u may flash any.......this will not make any difference that u want an country which is near to your region ....only default language can annoy you otherwise all are same

Yes bt I think sometimes when u will reboot it may start up with the default language

CSC is sales code.,
But as much as I knew there is no restriction to use any
ROM for any country if your device is
carrier restriction free

Find it here. To use it with odin extract boot.img from the zip. Convert .img to .tar.

Im specifically confused on the difference between CSC and HOME_CSC, both same filesize.
Do I just open Odin, add in all the first 4 files into there appropriate buttons, and let it rip? Whats the last one for?
Place them in their respective tabs ok AP BL CP and use CSC not home csc.

Wait why are you flashi g these old firmwares when there is new oreo build on sammobile. Download it germany DBT region use odin 3.13.1 and boom you have oreo.
