hello, i've briked my asus zenfone 3 max a while ago, and i'm still not able to find a firmware for version ZC520TL (eu version with 3gb of ram)
as i can't turn on my phone, i can't move the rom file into storage, that's why i'd need a version for sp flash tool
i've tried to flash most of the roms i've found over there ( http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=770294&st=0) but they don't seem to work with my phone ... or battery was not charging properly after the 1st boot, or flashing did not work at all
does someone know where to find a wrking rom or if there are already custom roms for my znfone 3 max out there?

i,m Going insane with this device iv been 5 days trying to revive
so my problem is i cant find the real rom backup to flash it with sp flash tool also i cant get into Downloading mode to flash the device with odin
myphone has no recovery or rom just nothing i flashed a llot of roms here all things what i flashed:
SM-N9100_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack-s7yler : this its work but the touchscreen and volums buttons not working>
Samsung Note 4 Mtk 6572: this one just black screen

Friend, I think you have a fake note 4. There is no n9100, just n910f/c/g/t... Moreover, the mtk6572 is not used by samsung on this phone, mtk6572 is bad cpu from mediatek and it is not used on any note 4...

You forget that the mtk6572 is a dualcore cpu @1,3ghz.... It could not be a serious cpu for the note 4
hey dude i have the freaking same problem!! 5 months and my phone still breacked because the device is fake but if some body has the device and same baseband and he did the rom backup up then 99% we can fix this mother*u****

i've downloaded the newest file from over there, but i don't know how to install it / save my phone ... does someone here know what i can do?

If I use any rom that is not KitKat then it freeze and restarts in every 5 mins(with locked BL- I checked it's locked it's not x.A1)
Now I am using KitKat 2.22.40.54 WW T00J
(My phone is actually TW I changed into WW)
I need Any Stock Lolipop/ Lolipop or higher ROM (with/without Locked BL)
I manually updated to lollipop by inserting the Zip file inside internal storage , it's updated to lollipop but I still got freeze/restart in every 5 mins
I Used
RR, Recreation Remix,CleanStockROM LP,StockLolipop from Asus website, all these ROMs make my phone freeze and restart.
Conclusion : Zenfone 5 T00J only support KITKAT Roms.
If anyone disagree with me then tell me how to fix this.

I am a novice at this type of thing but can follow and understand direction pretty well, i have used TWRP years ago on a nexus 5X and installed ROMS on it but it has been a long time.
My Brother in law has an Asus X008DC (ZenFone 3 Max ZC520TL according to the Asus site) and id like to get rid of all the asus bloatware crap thats on it.
Can i just root it ...(how /what is the easiest method ) and uninstall what isnt wanted or needed, or should it be reflashed with a stock ROM of any sort.
Ive discovered there seem to be several varients of this phone but i dont know how to identify that difference>

same for me and mobvoi wont release it because it will spoil the ultra cause the pro users can switch to it , if someone has the watch he can backup the firmware using twrp

update ; head over the oneos website download the stock rom for the 3 pro then flash it using twrp and then download the 3 pro ultra oem flashable zip and flash it too via twrp then reboot back to twrp and wipe cash data dalvik and go back to fastboot and lock your bootloader and voila you'ill be back at the original firmware of the ultra and you can update the fw too when its realesed, hope this helps everyone having the same issue as us
