Yes there is a little heating issue in c900f ..

Why is the Vibrate so weak

Hi All,
I have noticed that the vibrating function is too weak and also on a Custom Rom.
Does anyone have a fix to this?
Most custom kernels can increase the vibrate strength, not sure if you can do it on stock kernel.

I agree, I miss 90% of my notifications while on vibrate so I've started just leaving the volume really low so I can barely hear notifications. This is about my only complaint with the phone and easily something I can live with.
Download Trickster Mod and see if there is an option on there to increase it. Easy way to see if your kernel supports it.

Thanks will try changing it there and see if it works
The N4 and the GN both use linear oscillator vibration motors, which are less violent and noisy than the rotating out of balance weight design that that older phones (and the iPhone 2G/3/3G/3GS/5) use.
Did this work? Rooted or unrooted?

Blame it on the Snapdragon 600 or the Cortex-A15 cores, whichever you use. These babies burn like hell when you push them to the max. I suggest you to quickly root your phone and downclock via SetCPU . My SD600 is butter-smooth still at 1.35GHz and runs much cooler.
Of course any powerful processor on this earth will get hot when you use it fully. You can't put HSF in there

but my phone went warm when i sintalled avast antivirus and batter ended quick! i uninstalled it and pluged it in charge im sure it was antivirus and nevr gonna happen again!
No offense but news flash the energy in the battery is converted into heat when you use the phone.
I feel like many people complaining about heating or overheating have units that are working correctly. It's a quad core with a big battery it's gonna make some heat when you put it to work.
Overheating specifically means heating to point where it no longer functions, not the point where you simply believe it is too hot (assuming it's not burning you) or even worse you think some temp readout is too high.
Tl;dr if your phone isn't shutting down or burning you it doesn't have a heating problem. If it's warm at idle your battery is draining you have a software idle drain problem not a heating problem.
Charging also generates heat. My phone will get pretty warm gaming but only really gets heated up on the back when charging. It's all fine. My S1 got toasty and never failed, one time I left it in a hot car it was so hot I could barely touch it and it was still working fine. Just chill.

Overheating z1 compact

Folks,
I am so frustrated with Sony.
JB was working more than well, that they asked us to move to kitkat
Now the very last version has transformed my mobile into a mobile oven.
It is so hot that I am afraid to leave it on I am afraid to damage the battery...
Anyone experience the same issue with the latest firmware?
Build xxx. 757
Thanks for your help

Not normal, my phone doesn't get hot at all, though I do live in the UK and it isn't exactly hot here in the first place.
Media Server loop. One of your media file is corrupted ... so cpu usage is long, battery life is short and phone is hot !!!
thanks for the wise advise, I checked what was transforming my phone into a heater, it was INSTAGRAM
for some reason it was not working well with KK, after uninstalling it everything when back to normal
I will try to reinstall it to see if it helps
anyways thanks for your help guys

mine is not heating too much, but i've notoced, that when it is hot i got some vertical flashing lines in green colour, something like 8-10 one from another, on whole screen. It is noticable mostly on datk background. Any idea what could that be ? Unfotunatelly my camera can't catch those line so photos are impossible to make. THanks
my phone has never exceeded 55 degrees celcius, even under heavy load
Mine is to hot. 49-51 on light usage. Heavy load 55-65 celcius. How to fix it using trickster mod? Im using D5503_14.4.A.0.157_WW-SU2.40-DualR159_DeoZipA_XpoApp_torch_Cam4K.zip

People reported .157 consumes slightly more battery than .133 generally while .133 is the most battery saver rom, maybe you can downgrade it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2401988
If you want to stick with .157 to get the latest features, change the default governor from Interactive to On-demand(set on boot) and enable MPDecision(set on boot), this should give you some help. Also use Greenify(donate) to freeze some unused apps to free up memory/cpu and battery.

camera issues afher root

i recently root my tmo s7 edge, and had to fix a lot of things before it can be used fine, ´cos it was lag a lot, i use trickster mod to set the cpu governor to interactive, app disabler to disable the bloatware , amplify for optimize the battery life, buid.prop to fix the wifi issue, and the phone is almost fine, and i say almost because it is still lag from time to time and the battery drains a little bit faster than stock, but the real problem is the camera, it lag a lot when i tried to take photos and even more withe the front facing camera, do you guys have the same issue or it´s just me???
Its me as well.......I have to use smartmanager to clean up all processes before I can use snapchat.

Stock will not fix it. As I am STOCK but even the latest APG1 update didn't fix the horrible LAG with the front camera. Back not so much but the front is horrible.

I've never rooted my s7 edge. I've been tempted but don't want bad battery life as it is more vital to me then root, the camera issues have been around for some time. International has had a fix for it but tmobile has yet to push this fix. Unless everyone elses camera is fine (selfie) then I guess I should do a factory reset.

oh, i even´t noticed that before i rooted the phone, and im not very sure about it, but i don´t remember the front camera was this laggy before rooting, i just know that the phone went full retard when rooted, and only get to the pseudo solution when i watch a video of max lee on youtube explaining the issue.

Yes.......I'm going to try forcing the camera app to stay in memory so the needed ram is already allotted to it even when clearing other apps from memory.
Where are we here? Is this an issue for a lot of people after root, or isolated?
Thanks!

And your battery is ok? Taking photos with flash drains current, if your battery is old the voltage dropping will be high. I mean if your battery doesn't last the whole day with normal usage consider replacing...
