Apps to SD Card on ZTE ZMAX PRO Z981 - ZTE Zmax Pro Questions & Answers

How do you transfer apps from phones internal storage to SD Card? I download apps and get message saying sd card is part of OS of phone storage when it is not. I did not partition SD card for internal storage or adoptable storage but the phone thinks I did.

Mount two SDCards at the same time when USB plugged in

I have inserted a MicroSD card to my Atrix and every time I plug it in a computer only the external card gets mounted but the internal card still appears with a drive letter in the explorer.
Is it possible to have access to both cards at the same time when plugged in over USB?
There is a setting in SD card management to give you access to both.

Access external SD Card

Hi all,
I was wondering if there's any device that allows connection between a standard size SD card and the flipout, once it's connected it will allow transferring of data between the external and internal sd cards.
Thanks
airstash?
that's easy: a computer!
you could try something like airstash which connects the sd card through wifi....
Yeah... I was kinda thinking of something
with a more sane price

SGS3 Internal Storage difference (speed?)

Hi,
I am new to Android as I just switched from iOS. Does getting an android phone with higher internal memory make the phone perform faster since the phone get slow when you install too many apps in the phone's internal memory? Would you guys recommend me to save everything in micro sd card? Is there a setting where I can set to directly install apps into micro sd card rather than internal memory? Please advise thanks so much =).

This is not a windows pc.. So your phone will not slow down.. However you may see battery drains.. You can use directory bind for installing application data on the external sdcard card..

getting bad transfer speeds on 5Ghz with my note 4

my link rate on the phone is 525Mbit/s and my computer is at 1Gbit/s and for some reason im transferring from my computer to my phones Memory card which is a sandisk 128gb and im only getting around 1-3 MB/s write speed, i don't get it shouldn't the sd card be rated for higher? or is it the chip inside my note 4 that bottlenecks the sd card? im using Es media to transfer the files. And no it's not small files it was around 800MB
Write speed to your SD card (external storage) from your pc to your device is slower than transferring the file directly from your pc to your devices' internal storage.

but how can it be so slow? is it the phone storage controller that's bottlenecking the sd card?

I'm not quite sure about that. But I think one of the reasons is the SD card itself. Try to use a microSD adapter, plug it in your PC and transfer a file to it. Is it a lot faster that way?
yeah i can get like 12 MB/s

Adopted Storage Won't Read

Hi,
So I used my microSD as an adopted storage in my phone and it was working fine for a while. As you all know adopted storage makes the microsd card one with the phone internal storage and encrypts it. Well one day it stopped reading the microsd card. YET, the card is still recognized in a computer (albeit can't access data cause of adopted encryption) and the phone will read another microSD card. So I don't know what the problem is. What I need tho is to get my data off this microSD card that won't read in the phone tho. Thanks!
I've had the same issue, I just had so many problems with it that I just reformatted as Portable storage.
But when you connect to the computer with adopted storage it should just show one device as your SD Card, and that includes all the devices on device storage as well as the card's storage but combined.
This just happened to me.
Using a 64gb pny and it's listing as a lexar. Day after I converted to adoptable storage it said it isn't inserted.
Now no matter how many time I eject and reboot it won't read it.
