BLUETOOTH 3.0 Goodness!!!!!

Okay, The title could definitely be misleading... as i'm not sure this is because of Bluetooth 3.0 on our Vibrants.....this is my first android after all...
This is what i found out yesterday..I was able to talk to a friend on the phone...while streaming audio through bluetooth to my stereo bluetooth headset....
is that amazing or ... is this normal on Android? ... in anycase its still amazing !!!!
were you talking on the phone while simultaneously streaming a different audio (not the phone conversation) to your headset?
And if you were , how could you pay attention to the conversation?
Guess this would be good while talking to wives/girlfriends would be even better to insert a uh huh yah mmmhmm Audio into the mic so we could just put the phone down!
Yes, i was able to talk to her on the handset while its streaming (only) music to my Bluetooth Stereo Headset..
Its good to listen to something while not listening to anything she says...lol
Does your headset support 3.0?
Am I missing something? If you've got an A2DP headset connected to your phone as a "media-only" device, then yeah, it'll play music while you're on the phone. What does this have to do with Bluetooth 3?

[Q] music through my jawbone bt earpiece?

is it possible on the vibrant to stream music to my jawbone bt earpiece ? i used to do it on my touch pro 2. but with android im not sure ? help me out guys please
Yes, it's possible (though it may depend on what model Jawbone you have). Make sure your Jawbone is updated with H2DP and your phone should be able to recognize that the headset can be headphones as well. Check out the Jawbone website for more info.
If his jawbone is like my old one ( now use a Plantronics Pro), it didn't support Stereo (H2DP)
One of things I plan on looking into the Android source for is why someone hasn't come out with a "Mixer" app to route Media out the BT Headset profile. I'm sure there's a technical reason.
I've never seen a phone send music out to a BT headset... I don't understand why that is, it does if you use a wired headphone.
Things like podcasts should be fine in a mono headset. Even music would be better than nothing.

A2DP?
The new jawbone hero has an update that supports A2DP. Music sounds terrible through it tho, I even streamed NPR's car talk through it and it was scratchy. For some reason too, the phone prefers streaming over BT rather than through the audio jack when it's plugged in. Turned off the audio profile for the headset.

[Q] movies and bluetooth headset problem

ok i connected my bluetooth headset (Blueant Q1) to my HTC 7 Trophy. on the zune hub, when i play music, the sound comes out of the bluetooth headset. But when i play movies which i synced, the sound plays through the phone speakers and not through the bluetooth headset. Any help guys?
same here, anoying as hell!!! no need to mention i was quite startled when my phone started yapping in full volume thru it's loudspeaker in a quiet doctor's waiting room instead of thru my sony ericsson hbh-s800 bluetooth earphones...
Yep, very very annoying. I hope they fix this, or does someone have a fix for this?
no fix at this stage. it is a known issue and hopefully MS fixes it in the jan update.
A known issue with all wp7 devices or just the htc trophy?

[Q] Bluetooth headset problem

I tested many roms based on Froyo, however none of them is not possible to talk through bluetooth headphones. I listen to music, suddenly someone calls, I answer and hear sound from the speaker phone. Is there a patch that fixes this? If not, call the roms support bluetooth?
Spica is crap
sorry, no answer

[Q] Use stereo mic all the time and not only for calling

Hi,
I've got a problem regarding the bluetooth mic. The problem is similar as this one's:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/har.../android-bluetooth-mic-audio-routing-t2898688
What I would like to have is when I connect my phone to the stereo, the audio is recorded from the stereo all the time, and not only for calls.
I like this better than holding the phone for voice messaging in WhatsApp.
Furthermore I'd like to listen to the music further. When using the Parrot MKi 9200 this was the case, as soon as I clicked the whatsapp voice chat button, the music stopped and I was recording from the parrots mic.
Kindest Regards
Marco
