whats the best note 7,s7... ported rom for daily use - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey!
I have the note 4 and i love it but im trying to find a rom that i can daily use, and ita based on note 7 or s7. And suggestions? I have the N910C version.
Thanks for all the answers!!

this will likely get moved to general section.
but try erobot rom. he updates it quite frequently, the rom is stable and battery is good. using version 21.
...and hopefully we'll see 7.0 on it.

Yes, thats the question. There should be "test lab" with 9 GS2 phones with different ROMS's installed.
Anyway: "what is the best ROM" is what XDA is all about. Try and give us feedback.

ROM recommendations

Hi, looking for advice on which rom to use. I had a Samsung note 2 running cm13 (thanks to people on this forum) which I loved using. Due to the phone currently not running I snapped up a note 3 and now looking to see what's available for this.
Would I be right in thinking there's a cm 14 ROM that would be similar but newer/upgraded.? Looking for a daily stable ROM.
Thanks for any advice.

Why would you opt for a generic CM rom when you can get an N7 or N5 port (on the Note 3, anyway)?
I would go with an N5 port or if you want something newer, N7 which could come with some small little details. If everything fails, just go with stock. Most stable of them all!
Good luck.
i would recommend for pac rom lp 5.1.1 that is the most stable one! i have already try another marshmallow and nougat rom but i think for it is not still stable even marshmallow have been stabled

Right now, if you want Nougat based ROMs, Resurrection Remix Nougat(RRN) would be your best shot. Not only does it have a great amount of customisations, but it is very stable as far as I know. What's more, if you flashed the Xenial kernel(find it in the development forum) alongside the ROM, you will have awesome battery life. That's my experience with that this ROM, after using it for more than three months.

Cystom ROMS with VOLTE

Dear developers and friends,
I'm using Redmi 2 Prime 2gb 2014818 varient.
Currently I'm on official Miui 8.2.1.0. Lollipop stable version.
Now I want to upgrade to either Marshmallow or Nogut.
So dear friends, I want to know the most stable, or say it, near to stable ROM of either MM or Nogut.
I'm expecting some mandatory features in any single ROM such as:
VOLTE.
Double tap to wake.
Improved battery life.
Stable telecom network.
Less heating.
Dear friends your suggestions are highly expected.
Try Tesla ROM by Ground Zero, it is nougat 7.1.2 and has all features you need but it no longer is being maintained by @premaca , but it is the best version till now.
It could be found on Main XDA thread for Redmi 2, see the Central ROM link pinned by Mike.

Battery backup is better than any nougat custom rom, around 5-6 hrs in normal usage, performance wise it sucks sometimes as cpu struck at 800, dont know why. has few bug also like reboot when swapping data between sim.
Overall it's quite stable for daily drive if u can bear above mentioned issue.

Did you try MIUI 8.
If you tried it... how it's been.
I've been using DrKetan's rom for quite a long time.
It's mostly has given a good service but with time it's beeen deteriorating and now I have many force closing apps and need to reinstall or install other Rom.
I've been thinking about MIUI. ¿What do you say from your experience... MIUI or back to DrKetan's?

Hi, I haven't tried it yet as Dr. Ketan's ROM is working perfectly on my device. I think you should go for a clean flash when installing Dr. Ketan's ROM. I am suggesting it because it is far more stable then any other, problems with MIUI are two: Firstly, google contacts sync problem and secondly if apps are closed then are also killed in the background (sometimes, and it may be due to some particular setting), so when someone sends you a message on any of such app, you don't receive it unless you open up that very app. I think this issue might be resolved by now...
I released Oreo in February and beta 9.0 last month. Check out S6e+ android development.
