so, 4.1.1 and 4.1.3 are the same, just name change?

Sorry for question, but I'm litte bit confused.
If I have Official ROM but just rooted, and TWRP installed, can I flash only OOS 4.1.3 OTA Zip to get the update?

Anyone know what is the actual changelog?

I'm on Nougat 7.1.1 with Oxygen OS 4.1.1 stock, do I really need to be on Oxygen OS 4.1.3?

I unboxed my OP3T to see this update today. Ran it and smooth sailing so far!
All is well from me
Can anyone please confirm this?
The phone doesnt go in to silent mode by pressing the volume low button.
To be able to get in to silent mode, one has to move slider

I'm almost positive this was the behavior in Hydrogen 1.4 on the OP3 I'm not 100% if this was the case on OOS though. So it was more of an "oh right" thing for me. >.> I quoted the wrong person... oh well
Who can send me the zip file link 3.5.3?

Hey man thank you very much, my op3T is with the Bootloader unlocked but with the recovery stock still. My question is when installing this OOS 3.5.3 file is there any kind of problem in the procedure because of this bootloader unlock. I saw on google that this is done by Minimal ADB or by recovery stock, right?

What exactly is the problem installing TWRP? What happens, error messages, etc. What version TWRP? Your OOS version is over 2 years old. So you may need an older version of TWRP.
But more importantly, why mess with these old and obsolete versions of OOS? My suggestion would be to install current 5.0.8.

Hello again, I'm already on OOS 3.5.3 Android 6.0.1. I came back in this version because of the games that were not updated. I searched and saw that TWRP would be an old version, had the latest version installed and I had problems with the system backup option (I could not do it, it was giving error) and the storage was not showing on the PC. My last question is about what it would be and what it does (FIX DM Verity) and whether there is any version of magisk for Android 6.0.1 on OPT3.

Oos 7.1.1 0b3

Hi everyone,
First of all, we want to extend a huge thank you to all of you who have been participating in our beta program. It's been a huge success. By sending in your feedback, bug reports, and general thoughts, you've made OxygenOS even better, and we're making improvements faster than ever before. Today, we have a particularly exciting announcement: Open Beta 3– built on Android Nougat 7.1.1 - is available now for the OnePlus 3T. (Note: Link to the OnePlus 3 post*here)
Key updates in this build:
Upgraded to Android 7.1.1
New Shot on OnePlus wallpaper option
Gallery Improvements
New photo editor with watermark and photo straightening options
Newly added media will be highlighted in Photos section
Image location will be displayed on grid view
Media can be grouped by month and year
Folders and individual media can be hidden
General bug fixes
Known Issues and Fixes
Android pay not able to work on London TFL/Tube
This can be resolved by updating the app via Play store
Compatability issues with certain third party apps
Please visit the download page here:
http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_openbeta_3/
If you’ve already flashed a previous Open Beta build, you will receive this update via OTA. If you haven’t, you will need to flash this build by ADB sideload. Your data may transfer, but there is always a possibility of losing personal data, so be sure to backup all of your important data before flashing this build. As stated before, once you flash the Open Beta, you’ll continue getting Open Beta OTAs.
Please follow the link below for the UI/UX experience survey. We’d really appreciate a few minutes of your time, as it will help us make OxygenOS even better. One last thing: this is a limited program, so we may disable this download link once we receive enough feedback.
- Feedback on UI/UX:*https://goo.gl/forms/rj3OMW2eywKGoNfI2
Note: If you flash this Open Beta build, you’ll receive Open Beta OTAs (but not official OTAs). You’ll need to manually (clean) flash back to our official builds to continue receiving official OTAs. Rolling back to official OxygenOS versions require wiping data and cache.
Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to hearing your continued feedback in the bug reporting forum here:*https://forums.oneplus.net/feedback/.
Thank you for helping us build a better OxygenOS.
Never settle.

Should I install 7.12.19 update?

Just got Mi A1 today and it says an update is available. I thought it was the Oreo update they announced a few days earlier but it's not. They call it "Transition version for Android O".
Reading here and on Xiaomi forums I found out that both this update and Oreo have a lot of problems so now I don't know what to do? Install this update or wait for a stable 8.0 version?
I didn't have any problems with the update you mention.
I'm also not having any problems with Oreo.
You won't be getting the update to Oreo that everyone else updated to, it's been pulled so you would end up with this December update, then would have to wait for the next Oreo update.

yes oreo is not stable.
I don't understand why 1GB update is needed to go from Android 7.1.2 to 7.1.2 again with just this changelog:
1. D2Acontinuous annoying sharp Sound problem in A1
2. D2A is transferred to 112 when the local emergency number is called in the Czech Republic
3. Transition version for Android O

The current 8.0 stable version is absolutely fine for me. Till now did not faced any issues. After update i did a factory reset.... Works fine. For me 100% better than Nougat

Same here. No issues at all apart from the well known Bluetooth battery statistics issue. I didn't do factory reset after the upgrade.
No issues with Oreo, works as good as Nougat did!
Only a minor cosmetic issue with battery stats.
We do have some problems after the update to Oreo, like Mi remote not working in India
Swiping the fingerprint sensor for getting status bar is not working etc

Yes, you should absolutely install 7.12.19 as it is a security update. This is still Android Nougat (version 7).
The update is stable on my phone and actually improved some performance aspects (e.g. the time lag of the fingerprint reader is gone).
For Android Oreo (version 8) you should absolutely wait another month or two.

In my opinion, wait for fixing updates release..
You are taking the risk for getting some annoying bugs with 8.0 version.

What is the latest stock/beta Oreo 8.1 I can get on the 5?

I just picked up the 5 for a family member. She needs working Xposed (or rather, *I* need working Xposed to set everything up well), so no Pie. What is the latest Oreo I can get? The official ROM mirror thread lists 5.1.7 for stable and, for some reason, two open beta 21 zips. OOS has releases up to 5.1.11 on other Oneplus devices. Am I right in assuming they didn't release them for the 5? Is OB 21 farther along than 5.1.7? If so, which of the two zips should I be using? I apologize for posting, but neither search nor bruteforce reading of threads has yielded an answer.
The fixes listed in post-5.1.7 releases look valuable. "Fixed system stability issues", for one. Am I jut SOL on those?
Cheers,
-ln

You can find download links (including mirrors) of all the OxygenOS Oreo builds for the OnePlus 5 from here. OxygenOS 5.1.7 (the last stable build based on Android 8.1 Oreo) was released after OxygenOS Open Beta 21 (the last open beta build based on Android 8.1 Oreo), so I suggest you go for the stable build as it might have some patches that aren't there in the open beta build.

Yeah, I've seen the mirror thread obviously - and even started trying to read all of it. It's brilliant. However, while it lists all of the available stock/OB zips, what it doesn't do is actually explain what they contain and the chronology, hence my questions. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Would've taken me ages if not for your help mate

7.1.1 stock rom?

So I was making my own debloated stock Nougat and found a 7.1.1 full firmware, anyone tried it?
It is XT1680_POTTER_7.1.1_NPN25.137-92_cid50_subsidy-LATAM_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
That's not the latest Nougat full rom, there are others here:
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/potter/official/RETAIL/
The latest nougat at that link is the NPNS25.137-92-14 one. However, you could also pop over to my TWRP Flashable Nougat stock rom thread and grab the latest latest one there, NPNS25.137-93-18 (August 2018 security patch) and debloat from there.

I know it isn't the latest, I'm using November security patch because after that HAL3 is broken, if you enable it then Moto Camera breaks, same happens for cedric. I was just asking if potter really has available 7.1.1 stock because I never saw it, maybe the name is just wrong and it's 7.0

Oh, gotcha, was a bit presumptuous there wasn't I.
I never knew of 7.1.1 either, so I guess the best way to check is to download it and either extract the build prop or flash it.

There has never been a 7.1.1 stock firmware for potter, that's a fact. So it must be a wrong name, wrong firmware or something like that.
The 7.0 builds ending on 92-x are for the US, the ones ending on 93-x are for Europe and the rest.
As posted above there are TWRP flashable builds of the latest available versions.
