Install using fastboot.

We need drivers uploaded to fastboot and minimal adb fastboot to download from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120698566 we install the minimal adb fastboot and go and put it into the Minimal ABD Fastboot folder on the drive c then upload the downloaded files there system.img,userdata.img,boot.img.We run the program as we uploaded files there and launch the phone in fastboot mode After connecting the phone, type the following commands:
1.fastboot flash boot boot.img
2.fastboot flash system system.img
3.fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
You can already start your phone

Okay thank you guessing no GAPPs needed either?

Gaapses can be installed via twrp, you put on the phone in .zip format and do not install twrp just boot them because you will break the system.

I assume you used this tutorial and these sources (source 1 and source 2), so why camera did not work? What is the error on logcat output?

Hello
Security update for AOSP is a new package with a system- https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2vw3WJINCMsQUc4ZVNta09abFk?usp=sharing

Autofocus not working :crying:

Sony Xperia z5 e6603
I would like to know if this android version is for the model of my z5 e6603 and how it flashed? Because I have read that it flashed by fastboot and not by recovery someone can explain me? Before I try to install lineage os and it gives me error in twrp and the rom is for z5 any model as they say:confuso:

This rom is for Z5 E6653 model not for E6603

Android 7.1.2 coming soon for z5 e6653 improved preformance and more

You're welcome and thanks for offer
every version of "HuaweiUpdateExtractor" which i have found, did not work for me! Because the PLK-L01 is missing in the device selection setup! Please can you give me a link off a working Extractor?
BTW: isn’t it enaugh, to solve the above described problem to flash the ori. recovery with fastboot or adb?
i would try:
1.) connect the phone to pc
2.) open the communication to the phone using adb-tool v1.0 ore otherwise with the command "adb
devices"
3.) flashing the recovery with "fastboot flash recovery.img"
4.) and than restarting the phone with "fastboot reboot recovery.img"
ore otherwise
4.) reboot the phone with pressing the 3 right key simultaneously longer than 5 sec. to restart flashing the update.app file.
is that way wrong? Please explain.

hey there, someone with better experience than me will surely help you out a lot better, but i can guarantee that the 0.9.9.3 release works
just leave "unknown (worstenbrood)" as profile, pick your update.app file, unpack it
personally i used the b121 rom, and flashed it on my phone with adb, more or less as you described, loading both recovery.img and system.img from update.app... "fastboot devices" > "fastboot flashrecovery recovery.img" > "fastboot flashsystem system.img".
this did the trick with me
at my first try i get only more than 25 nameless files! So i thought the procedure miss.
so my question now, how will they get there names? Than’ks for your reply.

Try to extract only these 2 files (system.img and recovery.img) separately.
For those who will kill their phones without backups:
1. you need to extract boot.mg (usually 10.boot.img) and system.mg (usually 14.system.img)
2. Somehow get into fast boot mode (from TWRP reboot>>reboot into boot loader
3. Connect the phone to the computer and (using platform-tools from Android SDK) from terminal:
fastboot flash boot 10.boot.img
fastboot flash system 14.system.img
fastboot reboot
The version of the ROM is of no importance

How to flash a custom rom in stock pie as base. tUtORIAL

How to flash a custom rom in stock pie as base, using adb sideload
The twrp still does not work well in android 9 just the adb sideload function in twrp's advanced options.
First make sure you have the bootloader unlocked.
Second put all the files need in adb past rom kernel magisk etc...
1-put the mobile phone in fastboot mode
2-Boot twrp through adb using the command bellow
fastboot boot TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20181201.img
donwload twrp https://t.me/XiaomiMiA1ClouD/810
3- Make format data and make all wipes in the 2 slots
4-now go twrp advanced option and turn on adb sideload
5-for example for flash last pixel rom gapps included you use this adb comand
adb sideload PixelExperience_jasmine-9.0-20181219-0813-OFFICIAL.zip
6-reboot to bootloader and boot twrp again
7- check slots in twrp if on a change to b
8- reboot to sys done !!!
note:
9- you can flash magisk using same method
adb sideload magisk.zip
I will update the post for How to update a custom ROM after an update.
Sent from my Poco F1 beryllium using Tapatalk Pro
"3- Make format data and make all wipes in the 2 slots"
What u mean by that 2 slots? should I have to go to twrp and format & wipe A partition then change to B then format & wipe? after 2 slots/2partitions again back to A then adb sideload on?

When flashing magisk and hex by adb method, next we change slot like flashing the rom?
Flash magisk/hex/gapps by adb
Changing slot
Reboot
Like that?
Is it possible to install twrp if my phone is on Android 9 ?
If yes how to do it?

Lenovo TB-X306F and TWRP

Hi
I have been unable to find a TWRP build for my Android device (a Lenovo TB-X306F) anywhere online. I'd like to get into custom romming, which is pretty much impossible without TWRP. Does anyone know if there's a stable, reliable build of TWRP that has been tested to work with this device that carries the smallest risk of bricking my hardware or getting caught in a boot loop, and will allow me to interface with TWRP via ADB shell?
Thanks in advance!

yeah it was very easy -- download the current firmware for your tablet, extract the boot.img
install the magisk app, then run it..
copy the boot.img to the tablet, tell the app to patch it, download the patch BACK to your pc..
then put the device into fastboot, and run
fastboot flash boot boot_patched.img
BTW, I could not find a TWRP that worked with our device.. it was not necessary anyway.. flashing the boot partition was enough

Ok a bit more information for what I tried like 3 months ago
- I downloaded adb and fastboot
-adb was working fastboot was not
-i read about mtk drivers and that they are the problem I did download them but still my tablet doesn't show up in the pc (fastboot devices)
I can't get past that step
when you say that fastboot is not running, why is that?
what error do you get? you know you need to put the tablet into fastboot mode before fastboot will be useful,, right?
