ZTE Axon 7 Mini screen replacement - ZTE Axon 7 Mini Questions & Answers

Hi all.
Does anybody knows where may I order the screen replacement for the Axon 7 mini ?
I have purchased this phone at US and I live outside of US so there is no any sign of this device at the local market. Obviously no replacement parts are available.
The device's screen is broken after it fell down the concrete today and I can't find any parts supplier for this phone with the google search.
Any advice ??

Send it in to ZTE.

I have wrote an e-mail to the e-mail address I have found on the ZTE USA web site - [email protected] asking to assist me to arrange the repair service in US by shipping the phone.
Yet no response received after 48 hours.
Is there any other BETTER way to contact ZTE USA ?

U8800 Warranty Help

My U8800 has died and would like to get it repaired under warranty (totally dead does not switch on)
I am looking on: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide (stupidly sloooow)
But can't see any instructions?
The company I purchased the phone from no longer exists so that's a no go.
Anyone know any contact details for them? or know the warranty repairs process?
I am based in the UK.
Use google: huaweidevice facebook and try to contact them.
Sent from my u8800
Have done the following so far:
- Left message on their facebook wall
- Sent an email to mobile(at)huawei.com
- Registered my device on huaweidevice.com
Just waiting for some sort of reply now.
They need a dedicated warranty page really as doing the above is time consuming and un-necessary.
I think its easy. What mobile companies in Uk sells Huawei devices, or better this specific model?
You can contact the nearest official agent and ask them about how to get in touch with Huawei support from uk

According to the Huawei site there are no UK Service Centres
So where are the Huawei service centres in Europe? And the phone companies selling Huawei you're they repair their clients devices. What is the procedure?
Because no matter the company you acquire your device from, the warranty is from the brands of the device and according to the laws of each country.
So, the shop you bought from closed, but you have a purchase invoice and that is valid to ask for assistance to the brand of the respective device.

[Q] Nexus 7 repairing

Hi, my nexus 7 has few screen issues. Today I went to PC World (that's the store where I got it from) and they told me that they won't do anything with it and I have to contact with ASUS. I'm living in London and I was trying to look for their physical stores here but no luck. Do I need to use UPC or something and send it to ASUS? Do you think that PC World should actually took a care of it or is it my job to do so?
Thanks.
Within the first 12 months its down to the retailer where you bought it to fix the problem not the manufacturer, this comes under the Sales of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). Don't take no for an answer. If they refuse again ask to speak to manager.
If you phoned Asus and told them it within 12 months still they will advise you that can take it back to the store where you purchased it for a replacement.. although some manufacturers will offer to get it picked up and taken for a repair or replacement if it cannot be repaired although you are entitled to a replacement anyway from the store.
Basically they should at least send it to Asus for repair or replace it.

I'm gonna try different PC World store then, my friend's uncle works in one of them so I'm gonna try to speak to him first (I'm assuming that I can actually go to any PC World store, right?) Or you think I should go to the one I got nexus from and talk to the manager straight away?
BTW: When I went today to the actual PC World that I bought nexus 7 from one of them people who deals with repairing took my receipt and scanned it. Then he printed another receipt and gave it to me - > that's how it looks: http://postimage.org/image/gq2kcj3cl/
Thanks!
Small off topic: Am I eligible for that voucher from ASUS website -> http://event.asus.com/2012/tablet/nexus_7/ ?
bump ^^
any store is fine.

How can we help you? You need to call people that sent you the replacement.

Im in the same boat unfortunately. How did you get on? I keep being told to speak to TNT who say they dont know anything about returning a device as they need a reference number. I cant get a reference number because google claim TNT should have all those details and send a shipping label to me. This is beyond a joke now and I am in all honesty pissed off.
Although I haven't received my replacement device yet, I went through the same procedure, since I need to send back the defective device before I leave for vacation.
Google has plenty of totally uninformed people in their support lines - I had to call them 4 times to get it right.
What you have to do is call the Google Play Support for devices (0800 328 6081).
Then ask them for their UK TNT account number. (careful, initially they gave me their US one, and when I called TNT they had no clue where to deliver...).
Then call TNT (0800 100 600), give them the account number and they will know where to deliver (Harrier Parkway on Magna Park or something similar).. They will just ask for your details and arrange a collection.
Hope this helps.....
Just out of curiosity, did you get an shipping email confirmation with a tracking number? How long did it take for TNT to deliver your device?
I am going back to Greece and I am afraid I will spend my vacation without my nexus 4 (((
Also mine's battery died, what happened to yours?

My Axon 7 is dead after falling down

Hi guys,
So i just dropped accidentally my Axon 7 from 20cm high on the floor and it got his protect cover and landed like flat on the back... Then it switched off and won't boot again...
For sure, it's an hardware problem... i noticed few times before that sometimes, when i took it from the table for exemple, and that i dropped it because of slippery for example (so we barely can call that a falling down), the phone froze itself and reboot... But not this time :-/
Did anyone experienced the same thing ?
I just ordered a repair kit for the Axon 7, and i'm gonna take it to pieces myself, by following a youtube video and i hope i'll be able to fix it...
P.S : I can't sent it back to ZTE as i bought it from a website selling stuff between people and the person never sent me the bill despite many many mails asking for it...
Good luck!
Can't help you much,
Can you please give us a headsup on where can you buy such a toolkit and what it has in it?
Should still be under warranty, paperwork or not. The phone hasn't been out for 2 years. Call customer service and see if they can take care of it.

I got mine on Ebay and had to do a warranty claim maybe 2 months after I got it. Because any Axon 7 had not been out long enough to outlive the warranty they NEVER ASKED OR WANTED a receipt to prove purchase date for the warranty claim.

When i go to the ZTE Support website, You can choose a "repair center" near-by in your town called "Point Services Mobiles" - PSM) ( I live in France).
So if i have to go directly to a repair store, they probably asked me the bill (which i have but it's from Amazon (import from Germany) and it's not my name on the bill of course)... I can still call them and ask them how it goes...

OK I am in the United States - I went to the ZTE website, entered their live chat, told them of the problem I was having with my Axon 7, and they opened a RMA for me on the spot. Even e-mailed me a shipping label to send the phone back to them for the work.

Axon 7 UK RMA

Hi, I purchased a Axon 7 a few months ago, and unfortunately it's having a few problems - it seems I'm going to have to RMA it. I've tried contacting ZTE UK, but haven't had a reply. I originally purchased the device from Amazon.de. I've had a look at the ZTE DE website, but I'm unable to read German. Has anyone else here from the UK had to get an RMA? How did you do it? I considered using the send for repair thing on Amazons website, but I'm not sure how that affects the warranty.
Good luck with getting a response from ZTE. They virtually have no customer service

Within the phone itself, in the appdraw there is the ZTE cares ( doesn't really) app. In there it shows the contact phone number, I've spoken to them a few times.
Sometimes you can't beat calling, and yeah ZTEUK are a joke, call them on that number.
Good luck mate.
Mike
Bought on Amazon ? Easiest RMA. Just use the amazon purchase history to send it back to them, they'll handle the RMA free of charge if it's under warranty. You only have to pay one way shipping and they fully support english.
Had an issue with mine back in september, received a new one two weeks later (they had a delay with repair so they offered to wait or get an new one).
