I found this russian webpage (samsung4android.ru/?ipub=752) who has "developed" this Lineage OS ROM for the J5 2016 (goo.gl/NXtmzi). But I don't know if it's true because I'm scared to install it in case it's fake and it bricks my phone. Did anyone try this ROM?

Just how i found about 2/3 years ago a rom for my Huawei Y330 on some Italian web page
What is weird is that there is not even a root method for that phone lol
So yeah, if it is not on xda, don't put your 200$ phone in some stupid person hands
Edit: Soft bricking your phone in this case is the best thing that can happen, what could happen is that dev of that 'rom' could be stealing all of your data, and that is something to really worry about.

Just like the guy from above post said.
Such websites are garbage. You'll also find websites with download links asking to complete a survey to take your money.
If the ROM isn't on XDA, then it doesn't exist yet.

its actually made for a whole different device. just claimed as J5 2016 on that Russian site

i can confirm that lineage is coming after Cyanogenmod 13, Which is almost done (see leaks in other Lineage post on this section)

A few days ago I bought this device for my wife. Before I informed me about it's hardware specs.
For myself I'm owner of the J5(Which already has its own subcategory on XDA).
It seems like the two has nearly the same HW specs except the camera and the front flash which is missing.
I didn't try it by my one for now but maybe the Roms/Recoveries are compatible?!
Will there be soon a forum for the j3?

Yeah, I really need some help!
I suggest to all of the owners of a J3 to not install a Marshmallow ROM yet. This is why.
Recently I was scrolling trough Sammobile (sammobile.com) and I saw this post (https://www.sammobile.com/2017/02/17/galaxy-s5-mini-marshmallow-update-rolling-out-now/) about the S5 Mini getting Marshmallow.
Now you might be asking:What does the S5 Mini need to do with a J3 2016.
Even I questioned it first but when I went back I found this (https://www.sammobile.com/2016/05/0...-the-galaxy-j3-2016-getting-marshmallow-soon/) which is old but if the S5 Mini got it so the J3 2016 will get it aswell.
And I also questioned myself to be sure that recently a security patch released, so you can safely say that the J3 2016 is still supported, just be patient.

It can be possible since a Russian stock nougat OTA was just pushed out, making it easier to port LOS. It would be awfully early and may be fake... Coincidence? Possibly.

İt is very good for me but I cant find some answers.
1. I cant see Sım Card Contacts. İs it normal? I could transfered them to phone with Contacs App but I want to see, change, delete Sim Contacts manuelly.
And when İ downloaded an app it uses phone contact, contacts are being deleted.. İ cant understand this..
2. Rom update menu is not working. Always it says Check the connection Try again later
3. Android 9 has 3 options about lock screen. When you get a message, you cant see the notıfication or see the notification but cant read text and you can see notification and text. But in my menu, I can see 2 options. And I cant get the notifications without text.
4. When the charge finish, it says full but I still see the symbol like it is still charging
İf you help me and write with very simple English, I will be very happy.

Nu1- i really don't have any idea
2-this rom is no more available for ota and devs now work on Q (that i heavily prefer you to use that version instead)
3-it's rom dependent..i really didn't ever seen rom that doesn't have this
4-it is just a simple thing and it's not a problem!
Maybe a bug i don't know but i think it's just fine!
Use Android Q bro!
Or just other pie rom

1. İt is really an interesting situation.
2. İ downloaded and got some problems. İ removed cause of İ cant tell problems in English to developers =(
3. İ tried all and İ sold a Tablet has Stock rom Pie. İ saw the same.. But on Android Mars, i could hide the text but get the notifications from apps.
4. İ had battery problems so İ cant be sure the charge is full. İ asked so.
İ tried all other stabil pie roms but it was the most stabil for my phone.

Sorry - it was not clear to me, that this thread in about j5 2015 - you are right, for this phone there are many roms out there.
For the j5 2017 there is no simple lineage rom to find...

Yes İ have J5 2015 - j500f
İ have parts on my sdcard. But the other roms didnt see these parts. And İ formated card and particioned again but couldnt send data to sd card ex4 after that..
So İ removed that roms. İ only can use Ex4 for sending some app data with this Pie rom. İt works only this rom for me.
İ hope i can tell what İ want to tell in Eng.
Can anyone share stable rom details if there are any for the S8 Exynos model? Mine is running on Android 9 now.

For Android 12 I can really recommend Pixel Experience or Lineage OS, but if you want One UI Hades Rom Q ist you best (and basically only) Option

On Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 there is no sound when on a call, when turning the speaker on, the sound goes and does not come again. HTML please fix this error, A310F phone calls do not work in Turkish
It didn't work in the stock phone app either, then I tried it on google phone, it doesn't sound, nor does it go away.
