About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

# Friendly Notes:
- Which gapps should I install on this rom?
You should flash this one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862716774
Otherwise you might face issue as most gapps are not compatible with 7.1.2 yet. Also you should flash setupwizard fix after gapps.Otherwise you might face issues at setupwizard.
- How to root?
Check Post #3

You will get stuck in setupwizard if you don't flash it after gapps.

Build 14.04.2017;
-Fingerprint sensor is working now!

Does it matter with dirty unicorns whether I flash supersu or your version to root?

Smooth as butter AND the fingerprint sensor works! Thanks for the great work wzedlare and EypCnn. You've done wonders for the Lenovo P2 development scene.

Finally!
I wonder if this FP fix can be used in other custom ROMs as well?

This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

I was not able to install cm13, it kept booting forever when I flashed the latest version. And for other two roms aosp from and cardinal aosp, Auto rotation is not working. So can you help me to install cm13 or suggest me any Rom which has auto rotation and other features working. Thank you.
First off all It is expected that you to be on latest baseband, radio etc. before flashing any rom.
With that out of the way,ive flashed only cm13 till now (official one) and it is pretty stable, clean flash is recommended I.e. wipe system, data, cache then flash rom , flash Gapps immediately after flashing rom(open Gapps arm nano is recommended),rom should boot fine with no problem(your problem could have been with Gapps previously)

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Unfortunately yes, I've been thinking about closing this thread
I'm really sorry
I can't fix sound and developer setting craches, this issues because of CAF source
I suggest you to use RR roms by vache it's same as DU
What bad news, DU is very good rom
I hope this is going somewhere.

Installation Instructions
- Verify that you're using the latest version of TWRP
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below
(A full wipe is when you wipe system/data/cache)
- Flash the latest version of this ROM
- Flash recommended GAPPS linked below
- Reboot and ENJOY!!
**This is an unofficial build, please don't report bugs over G+. Report it here itself with appropriate logs**
**If you fail to follow these instructions, please don't bother reporting any bugs**
**If you use Xposed, please don't bother reporting any bugs**
**If you use another kernel, please don't bother reporting any bugs**
Credit and Thanks
We would like to give thanks to everyone that contributes to the Android community, big or small because every bit counts. Although we can't list each and every contributor within the Android community, we would like to highlight some of the teams and individuals that have made it possible NOT only with just this version of DU but throughout the years because we don't ever want to forget where we came from nor those that have helped us!
That said, on behalf of the DU team we say THANKS to....

There is a problem with pureNexus sources, and when they solve these problems, we can build it with no problems.

Do not record video :crying:
Video recording just doen't work even in stock camera app or Snapchat, Instagram ...
I love this ROM, I think it's the best (I tried them all) I was wondering if you have the intention to continue developing this ROM. I saw Dirty Unicorns just had a new release. Appreciate your hard work. Thank you.
I will continue this project. Weekly builds started.
ROM is updated.
- Udated ROM to version 11.6.
- Updated device tree and kernel sources with latest changes.
- Removed DU Gallery app and added AOSPA SnapdragonGallery.
- Changed Snap camera icon with AOSPA's camera icon.
Hi, thanks for continuing this project !
Is video recording fixed in this new version ?

Wow . . Smoothest rom for redmi4 awsome work dev keep rocking

Check second post for changelogs
Best rom I have used on this device since I've got it (I've used a lot of them). Best performance and has mostly everything I need included. Only thing I would like to see fixed is the scrolling. The scrolling doesn't continue itself and you have to scroll a couple of times to get to the bottom of a web page for an example (flinging doesn't work only swiping).
*Also a max of only 6 cores are running at time. CPU1 and CPU2 are stopped at all times in CPU-Z.
