Same problem here... have you found a solution?
Unfortunatly no, I think I will wait for firmware update when the band will be on sale in europe
Any luck on changing the language of the band?
Any news?
Same here
Any solution?
Same problem here. It seems the app passes the phone system language to the band, and if it is not supported, it shows chinese. I hope they change the app so you can manually select the band language. Should not be hard to implement such a change.

Use at your own risk
You are welcome to try adding CA with B8 on your own. You may be able to open the band using the QPST Tool
https://www.androidbrick.com/ultima...agon-xiaomi-mi5-imei-and-baseband-repair-fix/
Worldwide B8 is not a widely used band. Had Leeco avoided bankruptcy, they would had updated the firmware and would have likely opened B8.
Want to know the relevant article or link addition of Band CA directly.

Read the article from the link below. It is related to the imei and baseband fixes, but not the addition of Band CA directly. I would like to know if there is a direct article about adding a Band CA.
Thanks in advance for your expertise!

If QPST cannot not open Band CA then I have no idea.
If you have a X727 or X720
You can try alternate firmware.
I have all of the firmwares for both on my Mega drive : https://mega.nz/#F!oAZ3yC4b
Passkey: !MDwbHXNTRdrpgMvQ42yviw -
If any of these firmwares have CA available it would likely be 26s or 28s - Again, I don't know because I am in the US and I get the bands that I need.
Try using the LTE Discovery or Net Guru app to help determine any if there are any useful changes with using alternate firmware.
Note:
As mentioned these firmware are for the X727 and X720, if you or anyone else reading this post attempts flashing the wrong firmware you can count on a bricked phone.
