I found a way to bind ur account to ur device in developer option in order to unlock bootloader.
Download FlyVpn in PlayStore and pick China server/Shanghai.
After that try bind ur account to device.
good job bro. simple. but i already unlocked. hope it helps somebody else

I already had my unlock code via sms (two weeks ago)
When trying to register my device I always got a 10008 API error.
As soon as I was connected to Shanghai it worked without an issue.
Unlocked straight away!
Super happy!

Its quite well explained in the first post. Open the app like it explained and then tray to bind the phone. It worked for me.
Before i use to have 10008 error... Now i guess, i have to wait to the SMS and then i will try to unlock with the miflashtool
EDIT: After 24h that I did bind my account with the phone I was able to unlock the boatloader. Definitely this method worked for me.

Did exactly as mentioned in the steps and still get that 86012 error followed by chinese text.
Any help? unlocking BL was so much better before.

Yes, only waiting few more days is the option.
I repeat do not try every now and then, not even everyday... Try after 5 days... It'll works.

After flashing this rom my phone won't boot anymore.
what should i do?
Same happened to me. My phone is dead. Won't turn on. Can't even enter recovery.
I tried to use the unbrick guide but its not working for my phone
I managed to fix my phone for a second time with this guide

Well my phone is hard bricked
I can't use the MSM recovery tool and nothing is working for me.
I have contacted Oneplus and hopefully they'll fix it
If you guys have any suggestions on how to fix it then that would be great

Huh? Can't you boot into TWRP? Then just adb push a new ROM to your phone, wipe and install.
What errors in MSN recovery tool?

did you try the most latest build? if doesn't work then flash different version of twrp.
I need to know how can I install the developer 3 on my phone. I tried it and it gave me a yellow error message that said something like hardware and software version don't match and it never loads after reboot.
PS I have the t-mobile veriant tieht international installed.

just go download it from sammobile.com/firmwares and delete the other 4 files you dont need
by the time anyone answers with a link on here, you could have easily downloaded the whole firmware set and utilized what you need from it, discarding the rest

Thanks, but that's one of the reasons I'm looking for a link... Just for the modem file, my speed isn't good enough to download such large file.

Hi, I also have the same problem where I can no longer connect to any network after flashing my phone. I tried flashing the file from the link using Odin but it says "md5 error, Binaray is invalid", please assist in overcoming this

try to get a picture of the error with another phone, it might be the baseband version error. This post is a year and a half old and its entirely probable that your baseband version has updated several times since then and you cannot go backwards in baseband versions

if its not recognizing your sim, then its probably a CSC version that isnt compatible with your network. Similar to my response to the other post, this is a really old thread and im kinda surprised that it would work today unless you kept your phone in a drawer, powered off since then and refused updates if it was on, which only gets you so far before they require you to update. I cant recall even what version of android is in the mega link i posted and im not going to dl it as im on my work computer. Id just get the latest version of the FW you need and flash that. sammobile.com/firmwares is where i recommend everyone to get them and use Frija or SamFirm to download the files. its over 4x faster than directly from the site. Trust me on that one. LoL

It may be because of the screen protector I'm not sure but when I took mines off it worked perfectly

That message pops up as soon as I click to try to register my fingerprint, it doesn't even let me try to add it.

I've tried on 10.0.16 and 10.0.19 they are the only ones available 10.0.13 doesn't have any links to download it.

Hmm... I still think it sounds like it could be a hardware failure... I'd look at doing a warranty exchange through OnePlus

I'm getting the same thing after coming back to stock from Omni rom. It was a known issue that there was supposedly a fix for by flashing a persist.img but it hasn't worked for me. I've tried everything and just ended up turning on face unlock.

I was not on a custom rom. I was rooted on the newest stock firmware. Where did you find the persist.img? I would like to try it to see if it works for me.

Found it in a telegram group called hottdog dev although if it stopped working for you on stock firmware that leads me to believe it's a hardware issue for us.....weird

I contacted TMobile via Twitter and they're sending me a replacement device. They said that there are multiple reports online of this happening so if I was you I'd just get a warranty exchange.
