LeTV LeEco Le Max 2 X829 / TWRP / nvdata & nvram partitions missing? - LeEco Le Max 2 Guides, News, & Discussion

I'm still waiting for my phone to arrive. In the meantime, I have found twrp and necessary files, and instructions to install on the x829. However, in some videos I've watched regarding TWRP backup on the LeTV LeEco Le Max 2, I do not see nvdata and nvram partitions listed in partition list in these various videos. Is nvdata/nvram combined in another partition? Recovering those two via twrp after IMEI corruption is far easier then using a third party IMEI writer.

Appreciate the screenshot sir!

Which tutorial / Links / Youtube did you use to root and install TWRP on the X829? I just want to be 100% positive that I have the correct files and adb commands. The last thing I want to do is brick it. I kinda wish this device was compatible with SPflash. I can recover my Elephone P8000 from even a hardbricked state with it.

there is no difference in the process for x829.
offical twrp:
https://dl.twrp.me/x2/
fastboot flash recovery twrp-however-its-called.img
flash latest supersu if you want to root stock rom or flash custom rom directly.
it wont brick.
there are tools to recover from a partial brick: qpst and flashone.
all info you ever need is already written multiple times on this forum.
edit: use 15 seconds adb installer.
this thread is total overkill and you dont need 95% of that information but it might help for troubleshooting:

[Tutorial] Meizu m2 note bootloader unlock guide

Finally we have a guide to unlock the bootloader of Meizu m2 note. We need Mediatek SP Flash Tool, MTK phone drivers and the images/bin files for unlocking. No modaco superboot, no fake tutorials any more
Now here's the guide:
1. Download the files I provide
Then unzip it. You'll get a folder with FlashTool, Phone drivers and unlock images.
2.Install drivers for Mediatek platform.
3.Flash the temp-unlock-secro.img via Flashtool.
4.Flash secro.img, lk.bin, preloader_meizu6753_65c_l1.bin via Flashtool.
5.Disconnect USB data cable and power on the phone. If you see the "=>Normal boot" sign(it's quite small.......) in the left bottom cornor of the screen, then the unlock is done. You can now flash things in whatever way you like. The guide is over~~~
The full tutorial is here:https://mega.nz/#!zJxmBDAA!VyYLgPoOfx1P4O7WzSvKVycnbWnYPESzazZGOoIt15w

I hope xda-developers can help work out a recovery image:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed: If you can port the recovery and it works well, just leave a comment here I need that very much
PS: I tried to port a TWRP recovery from Elephone P8000 but the screen is upside down I tried to add ro.sf.hwrotation=180 in default.prop but it didn't work And I also tried to add setprop ro.sf.hwrotation 180 in init.rc. It didn't work as well:crying: Who can help fix this? Or I need to compile the TWRP myself?)

M1 metal is powered by YunOS, and it have a system service called"AntiRoot". As we all know, the antiroot in YunOS is very powerful which is extremely hard to hack. Now you can only use Kingroot to get "Fake Root",which can't edit the system partition. I'm using m2 note(M571) so I can't help u about that, sorry
Oh, and remember this tutorial WON'T WORK on Meizu M571C (meizu m2 note China Telecom version ). We are still working on that but we don't have the phone to test our work.

Our bootloader has some problems, so it will always shows it is locked, but in fact it can be uocked by my method, and we are able to flash recovery partition. I ported one but it's buggy, so I won't release it until problem resolved. The screen is upside down but touch is ok. Th only way to fix it is to compile the full image, but my computer's performance is so poor.... Could u help me bro?
Sorry i cant help you.. my pc is not powerfull too and i dont have knowladge about it.. I wish someone can help u better.. and you can release custom rom or custom recovery for our Meizu m2 note.. peacee..

This guide only change the ""secro" partition, "preloader" and "lk"(bootloader). It does not depend on your firmware version. So be relax and try it
Hope your Google translater works well
How about in the guide:
And change the Scatter to this file:
Now choose temp-unlock-secro.img and select it.
but it always fails because it is not a scatter but .img

hello we are new to and TWRP custom rom ??
I have build a TWRP recovery from the newest CM12.1 and TWRP source code.
Here's the link: https://mega.nz/#!ychBnTSb!wL6qicJ2KCpwnhHNImEhhk2OGuEKThxcDk2tj0iGuP0
Problems: Sometimes /cache partition can't be mounted. You can flash preloader, lk and secro partition again to solve this.
And the CPU Temperature clock doesn't work. It always shows 0 Degree...... I'll try to fix it.
Other functions works well Try it!
Before you flash it by Flash tool or fastboot or other tools, remember to remove /system/recovery-from-boot.p
That file will restore the flyme recovery at boot~
I would try but it is not clear how to use flash tool can make images of where to load the various files?
thank you

Run Flash Tool.
Load the scatter file first, then click the blank after "recovery", then load the recovery image. Click download then your phone will get TWRP recovery.
Remember to remove /system/recovery-from-boot.p first or your recovery will go back to flyme one
After installing the twrp have you tried to reflash a flyme rom ? Does it works or the official rom have some checks in the zip file to remove ?

just wanted to share that flashtool by default won't flash F5122 with 34.2.A.0.266 (Nougat) as there's no specific script for it
I've tested copying F5121 34.2.A.0.266 file and renaming it by just changing to F5122, flashed successfully and phone is working great

Random reboot after flashing
have a US Xperia X and I flashed the "Customized UK" ftf. It flashed successfully, however, my device restarts randomly.( It restarted twice during the initial device setup and then randomly while using the phone.)
While flashing (34.2.A.0.266), I wanted to wipe my phone completely and I checked "DIAG" and "SSD" in the wipe window of the flash tool. Then realized according to a thread that they were new options.
There is no flash script for the current US firmware (34.0.A.2.292) Is there any way to recover my phone to normal working state?
Yesterday i was installed flashtool latest version but after installation flashtoon is not running it is showing some java error.

[TWRP][FULL BACKUP]HUAWEI Y7 trt-lx1, trt-lx3

As i was able to flash the custom recovery ( see HERE ) on my TRT-LX1, i thought i would share my full TWRP backup.
Use at own risk !
This backup contains : aboot, boot, cust, firmware, product, recovery, system, vendor, version (if needed other files can be provided but with those ones you should be able to restore your system backup)

Also the TRT-LX3 can be found here : https://mega.nz/#!Bd5W3ALI!cJ_3F5pISoyGChrw-p1hrD87H-_0z62VExSL9D3zb8c

Perhaps the headset restore is in another sub-partition. Should look into that.

Alright, noted !
Btw, the other backup is for the LX3 and as someone would do a restore with it, just check all but not the .img (like system.img, vendor.img...) ones. These are not necessary to check as the other ones contain all necessary data. Just saying
My backup, the TRT-LX1 just contains the ones you'll need. You can check all by default, or less if you want a selected part to restore.
I have brick my huawei y7
Hello, good afternoon, I have downloaded your backup of the LX3 which is my phone model of the Y7 but I only have the TWRP where I can access. I have tried copying the extractable file from the backup as well as extracting the files and putting them in the root folder, but the files only come out in the file manager mode and when I want to restore, I do not get any file to restore. I personally think I'm doing it wrong because I'm not a genius in this restore backups because I've never done it but now that I have the opportunity to recover my phone I would like to know how to use it and leave it to my Huawei Y7.

Take a test backup with TWRP. That will give you the right folder name to place the lx3 backup into.
When restoring, you can check all. But don't check the img's. It's not needed. Don't know if you should check the efs. Better don't. Just try out

Ideally you should have TWRP and Root. Frankly, you don't really need this tool, when TWRP will backup and restore EFS without any issue.
Worst case there is also the option of using QPST, there are also many tools available on Google play for backing up you partitions as long as you have root.
For example: Partitions Backup & Restore
Need qcn of efs backup
please you can post your EFS backup or QCN file from Mi A3, i`m without signal, but IMEI ok. i search on web but i cant find file.
