Hello everyone,
Me as well, I'm trying to have my Lenovo vibe P1C72 MM enhanced with TWRP image (which is twrp_recovery3.0.2.0.img). But unfortunately I keep getting this error message:
"target reported max download size of 268435456 bytes
sending 'recovery' (29546 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.938s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: invalid signature and data)
finished. total time: 1.156s"
Any ideas out there what hinders me?
Target leading answers very welcome ...
Einback
P.S.: I tried QFIL with "P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL" before, but "Sahara failed. Value cannot be zero" keeps showing - despite my patiently waiting and trying for undefined times.

im with p1 c72 but no mather how much times i flaah recovery with fastboot or qfil only the stock stays

[SHARE][RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.0.0.0 + Root for Honor 7i/ShotX

Heres TWRP 3.0.0.0
https://dl.twrp.me/rio/twrp-3.0.0-0-rio.img.html
or
https://mega.nz/#!91ZnAaYA!htGK6PknbEd4twDPCsHQ31ZsmDAdKZ7qP_kFWsfSwC4
Since Huawei G8 is so similar to this phone it works
Remember this is for Honor 7i / ShotX and NOT for the regular Honor 7
Ive flashed it on my ShotX but if you are uncertain, please first try and boot it before you flash it onto your device.
Just type make sure adb developer is activated and you also need to check the setting that allows bootloader unlocking or else you cant flash it. Also remember to move the twrp-3.0.0-0-rio.img file into your adb directory, preferably just use minimal adb which is excellent for this type of job
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.0.0-0-rio.img
If it boots and everything works then you can reboot in bootloader again
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
and then type
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.0-0-rio.img
to flash the recovery permanently
And if you want root, simply flash this file (superSU.zip)
https://mega.nz/#!F05GXBoI!abpEgAI4WLuu0nraCpEpB5E2rXkIOIlHbepke5SH0cg
Now we just need some tweaked/alternative roms and preferably a nice kernel along with it

every times you want to change something like this on your Honor 7, you must unlock your bootloader if it was not unlocked until now!!! But be careful!!!
You should use the minimalADB tool too.
When i boot it it boots and reboot fine but now when i flashed i am stuck in it anyone help me ;(
I got it fixed by just flashing the stock recovery instead of full ROM.

[Solved] Bricked and can't write system

I erased everything in an attempt to unbrick it but that was a mistake. What I have tried and results:

Which original one though? I've been trying and downloaded any Full firmware I could find using a firmware finder, for my VNS-L31 but using the force update method in download so far all of them return an error: Incompatible with current version. I have also tried the fastboot update and separately flashing each file in the update.app . None work so far. I keep trying.

If you're on Nougat, try flashing it's files through fastboot. It worked for me, MM system.img gave me an error, but nougat flashed fine.
I believe ur in nougat beta... Just flash oem info and flash again the nougat from there you can start again and downgrade peacefully
your bootloader is locked

Thank you! I followed the instructions here with a slight variation. Because trying to install the update.zip file always gave me errors I extracted the update.APP with the update extractor tool and flashed cache, system, boot with fastboot. Then I opened the custom recovery, installed the other zip file and continued as instructed.

I just asked because the logs show that your LAF partition isn't flashing and from what I've been reading so far about the LAF partition is that it is a very fragile thing.
Have you tried a factory kdz with LGUP?

but after i install the AospExtended, it just play the aex booting video, how many times i erase all date include system and date, cache, etc.
now ,iwant to konw how to get it into a system
Find stock.kdz to flash using LGUP, reflash TWRP using fast boot commands. Should boot correctly after stock .kdz is applied. Once confirmed your phone works correctly.. Boot into TWRP factory reset, and wipe partition, then attempt to flash your choice of custom ROM.

Bricked OnePlus 6T

Don't want to talk that much, because I've not much time.

Maybe installing twrp from adb again, download Oxygen OS full rom, transfer it to your phone and flash it?

Bricking phone with an unlocked BL is kind of hard.
Even if you wipe the device, you should be able to recover by writing the correct files.
The only way I know of killing a phone like this, is if you can't get into the bootloader to do fastboot.
