LineageOS 14.1 by mparus - Huawei Ascend G7 Questions & Answers

I have TWRP 3.0.3 and G7-L01 (stock ROM B320 - 5.1.1, rooted). If I install LineageOS 14.1 by mparus, I get error 7. Is ROM compatibile from G7-L01? Or any other problem? Sorry my English...

yes it works fine on my G7-L01; and I'm using TWRP 3.0.3 (the version he has linked on his thread in the ROMs forum). Make sure you're doing a full wipe and clean install the first time you try installing it.

I have just flashed the Firmware 7.0_NPJ25.93-11/12 on my moto g4 xt1625 unlocked bootloader
My question is should flash:
1-Recovery TWRP 3.0.2-r4 for Moto G4 recommended by the Resurrection Remix rom thread?
2-then flash superboot-athene_NPJ25.93-11_eng-noverity.img.
any suggestions please? I would like to install that rom
If you're looking to install Resurrection Remix, I suggest the more recent TWRP 3.0.3 n1 build by Shreps https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...covery-twrp-3-0-2-r3-moto-g4-g4-plus-t3494337
Then, download the ROM (and openGApps), flash as directed in that thread. You'll have root access within RR or could flash the SuperSU beta https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133 for more control.
I don't think you need the superboot img unless you're staying on the stock Nougat ROM.

MadOS android v7.1.2 (madOS_7.1.2_s3_h560_20170605.zip ) will not install

I cannot install madOS_7.1.2_s3_h560_20170605.zip from recovery
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=16842#downloads
My phone is a jiayu s3 (3GB version) and I have a twrp 3.1.0 recovery which I later upgraded to 3.1.1-0 because I thought MadOS nougart might require a newer twrp
The installation fails through recovery and I get the message
"updator process ended with signal: 11"
I beleive its a rom issue because I have installed a ressurection remix rom lineage_s3_h560-ota-63473cf184.zip which is the rom running now.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=19675#downloads
I downloaded madOS_7.1.2_s3_h560_20170605.zip many times on both windows and linux but the problem remains
Can the coders look into the issue please ..
Thank you in advance ...

I am currently using lineage os 14.1 and i would like to install cloudyG2 rom for more stock lg experience. I couldn't find anything about flashing it from android 7.1 . can i just flash the rom from twrp or do i need to go back to stock kk/lp first?
Thanks in advance
i had try install cloudy 3.3 from 7.1.2 crdroid 3.9 and lineage 14. It ok (TWRW 3.2.0.1) D802
but i think you shoud back to lollipop first
@momirsarac Did you manage to install the ROM coming straight from LineageOS, or did you flash vanilla Lollipop after all?
you can flash directly from LineageOS without problems, at least i didn't have any issues.

Update from Android 5.0 to 7.1 Resurrection Remix

Hi,
I have a rooted N900 with stock Android 5.0 that I am trying to update it to 7.1 Resurrection Remix
I just wanted to ask if there are any special things that I should do like flashing a certain modem or kernel before flashing 7.0
Thanks,
First:
Flash twrp for HLTE via odin,
Download RROS
Full wipe data/cache etc.
Install ROM,
Install GApps,
Optional flash Magisk Manager.

Trouble upgrading from Android 6 - Xiaomi.eu - MIUI 10

My Redmi 4 Prime is still running great as my backup phone, and I've loaned it to a few friends when they were phoneless too.
It has Xiaomi.eu Android 6 MIUI 10 ROM and TWRP 3.0.2 installed.
I downloaded and tried to flash Havoc OS for Android 9 and 10 but neither was able to be installed. So I loaded up the Xiaomi.eu ROM again and it went on perfectly with Magisk too.
Is there something I need to do so that I can install a newer ROM. I remember upgrading another phone and I had to install some Firmware before I could install Pie. Or do I just need to upgrade TWRP?
I had a look through this forum but couldn't see anything like that mentioned.
Thanks if you can help
you have to install an upgraded twrp. I'm using orangefox TWRP (search for orangefox markw) and I have installed a ported miui12 rom with android 9. Working well:
