Problems Installing On Hard Disk (Intel Atom x86) - Phoenix OS News, Q&A & Development

I am really sorry about this post, but I'd try to install Phoenix OS on a HP Mini with Intel Atom x86 Processor. I already boot this OS using a 4gb USB, now I want to make a hard disk install.
I used this guide because I know Phoenix is an Android-x86 Based OS (The guide is in Portuguese, so I used google translate to read it). But since the beggining I have a lot of problems.
1.- After i hit "Installation - Install Phoenix OS to hardisk" I get "ACPI Bios Error (Bug)...

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2.- It loads, and then I choose "Create/Modify Partitions" as in the guide says. After this I get the message "Do you want to use GPT", so I chose "No" and I get "Unsopported GPT (GUIDE Partition Table) detected. Use GNU Parted" ....
3.- So I tried then to say yes to the use GPT part. I have Chromium on this laptop, so there are many partitions, so I deleted all of them and try to create a new partitions as in the guide says. (I know in the picture you can see all the chrome os partitions, just took this picture to show you)
Istead of getting this
I get this..
So I don't know if there is some of guide to actually install this OS as single boot on a Intel Atom Laptop? The description of Phoenix OS says "we recommend that you use the system on devices with Intel Atom series CPUs, which will have the best compatibility." so how do i do to make a hard disk installation?
Thanks in advanced.

Hello, i should say this first that i'm not a professional but i recommend installing windows then using phoenix os installer since it is safer for novices (and if you want to reserve windows). I'm writing this from phoenix OS 2.0.0 which i installed via windows way (because my computer can't boot from usb). After installing you could boot a live linux system (not phoenix os) and delete windows (only windows partitions) and change partition size of the phoenix os then fllow this tutorial (which should work) "http://support.jide.com/hc/en-us/articles/218463867-How-to-increase-the-memory-size-", it is based on remix os but since this 2 are close each other it should work.

hello, i think you should repartition your harddrive to use MBR instead of GPT (it's default to GPT with chromeOS installed before ?)
then you can create and modify partition to use with phoenix os
i've experienced in remix os with my windows 10 harddrive with GPT, so i'm using Acronis / Hiren Boot CD to destroy existing partition and create Blank MBR Partition.
you could try that.

Need same help too. Acpi Error still displayed in Boot starter.

best wayto install PhoenixOS on Intel Atom, is tru Windoesnt, run the executable.
Still available on MEGA:
For the Intel Atom 32bit system X86, download Here PhoenixOSInstaller-v1.6.1.319-x86.exe
For the x64 downoad here PhoenixOSInstaller-v3.6.1.564-x64.exe

Problem solved to flashing in 64 bit computers.

I have a tutorial on dual booting Windows 7 and Vista, to solve the problem with flashing in 64 bit. I will also put pictures. (THIS ALSO WORKS FOR 32 BIT! JUST DOWNLOAD THE 32 BIT VERSION!)
Step UNO: Shrink your hard drive. (I recommend giving Windows 7 at least 30 GB of space, if possible) Right click Computer, and select Manage.
On the side, click disk management. Right click the disk 0 (In my case its disk 0) and click Shrink Volume. It should be the one wish the most space. Usually C:\ Drive. Shrink it as much as you want. I do recommend giving more than 7 Gigabytes, as the OS itself is 7 Gigabytes. When your done shrinking it, right click the Unallocated space, and click create new volume. From there, you assign a drive letter to it, and name it what you like. You can quick format it, since its empty anyways. (For beginners, you format it in NTFS format)
After your done, it should look something like this. (Mines named C:\ Windows 7)

}
Step DOS: Download Windows 7! Go here and download the 64 bit version, (Or 32 bit if your processor is 32 bit) and also write down the key given!
Step TRES: Burn it to a DVD! Get imgBurn, or you can burn it with Nero or Roxio, or any burner that burns .iso files.
Step QUATRO: Put in the DVD and restart the computer, and boot off the DVD, and it will load files. After, it will welcome you to Windows 7. Then you will have the option of doing a custom install. Click it. Then click the partition you created earlier. Then click next. and let it work its magic. It should not take more than 45 minutes.
Step CINCO: After you install, you just put in all your info and such, and your ready! Then you plug in your Windows Mobile phone, and it will automatically download WMDC. (GUYS PLEASE, DO LET WINDOWS 7 AUTOMATIC UPDATES OCCUR! THEY REALLY HELP!)
Step SEIS: Enjoy your speedy computer! And get 7 when it comes out!
What does this have to do with "flashing" and/or "64 bit computers"?
A 64 bit OS has never prevented me nor anyone else I know from flashing our phones.
Either your title is misworded or your message is not clear.
wow, very in-depth tutorial!
thanks

Actually, certain people have a problem flashing on 64 bit computers.
My title is correct. Some 64 bit computers do not flash, as my brother had that exact error, but I also have 64 bit and I had no problems.
I'm sure they'll be some people who will testify.
How does this help with anything? This is just the instructions on how to install Windows... If someone on here doesn't know how to install an OS on their computer then...
You didn't show how to solve anything.
nice

i never got problems with flashing roms on 64-Bit system! Vista makes no problems, win 7 no flash tested, yet!
the only problem i got is, that my storagecard not shown on pc! the rest is running

[Q] CWM flashing problem <data transfer failure> [Huawei S7 2.2]

SEE POST #3 FOR SOLUTION
I'm having an issue I can't get past..
I've got the Indonesian 2.2.2 rom on my Australian (Telstra) device (external sd, 2 cameras, resistive)
I'm using goodoane's v2.2 compatable CWM, and xaueious's easy windows flasher. The phone is rooted using superoneclick, and all drivers are installed fine. It process through all the steps until the following one with no problems.
Trying to install , but get the following error:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you see it says FAILED <data transfer failure <too many open files in system>>
I cannot figure out a way to get around this. Using the easy windows install script. Please help!
Downgraded to 2.1 and tried the same with 2.1 img. Exact same error. Someone please help :/
OK, so I figured it out.
The drivers weren't installing properly on either of my windows 7/intel core 2 duo systems. So, I hooked the tablet up to me Windows 2000 torrent box, and the huawei drivers installed fine.
I was able to root through that computer, but as seen above I was unable to flash CWM.
So, after more tinkering, I became dedicated to fixing the drivers on my Windows 7 computers.
I copied the driver info from my Win2000 box, and then plugged the tablet into my Win7 PC.
Instead of using the 'update driver option' by pointing the computer to a specific location (where the huawei drivers were), I selected 'have disk', and then did that.
The drivers for 'Win7&XP' were still not working, so I decided screw it, and pointed the computer to the 'Win7-AMD' drivers using the have disk option. I specified the correct INF (as seen in driver details from the Win2000 box), and to my surprise it installed correctly!
I then enabled USB debugging, and followed the exact same process; pointing my computer to the Windows 7-AMD drivers as opposed to the Win7&XP drivers, even though I have an intel CPU. It worked.
I then flashed CWM onto my Tablet with the stock 2.1 rom. I'm now upgrading to indonesian 2.2 and will flash the appropriate 2.2 version of CWM, which i'm sure will work.
Hope this helps someone out there!

Most likely
You probably need to install the VirtualBox Addon package for linux.
Before installing the Guest Additions, you will have to prepare your guest system for building external kernel modules:
sudo apt-get install dkms
Insert the VBoxGuestAdditions.iso CD file into your Linux guest's virtual CD-ROM drive - so mount the ISO for the guest additions (it can be found in the VirtualBox installation directory)
Change to the directory where your CD-ROM drive is mounted and execute as root:
sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

Sometimes we need to transfer files to our device while we are in recovery mode. When we forget to copy the zip we were going to flash, when we are installing a
GPE based ROM (we must format /data and erase all files), to transfer a backup... ect. In many cases we need this function.
The purpose of this tutorial is to make our PC succesfully recognize our Moto G as a storage device being in TWRP recovery.
Many users have reported that their devices are not being recognized.
Requirements:
-Have installe the last TWRP recovery version.
-Have installed ADB drivers in PC. You can try this ones Universal ADB Drivers or Motorola Mobile Drivers 64 bits
-USB data cable.
-PC runnig Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 (can work with older versions).Steps: Sorry for spanish images, if you can provide me english captures would be great.
1) Boot into recovery mode and connect to PC with USB data cable.
2) Being completely sure your device is not being recognized, otherwise this tutorial will be totally useless to you.
3) Open Control Panel and click on Hardware and Sound
4) Go to Device Manager.
5) Look for 'Android Device' or 'Android Phone' or any related name, open the list, rigth-click on the device and click on 'Update driver software'.
6) Now click on the second option.
7) Now click on the option below:
8) Make sure 'ADB composite device' is there and click next.
9) Once this is donde, reboot your PC and it will be in capacity to recognize your device as a storage device while you are in TWRP recovery. We can freely transfer files.---------------------------------------------------
