Bootloader and Recovery not working - Zenfone 2 Laser Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was on CM 13 rom ,reboot recovery, reboot bootloader, were working properly.
then I flashed pre rooted rom.
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
then
fastboot oem reboot-recovery was not working.
From then recovery and bootloader was not booting
I had cm 13 Complete Nandroid Backup
So i restored the twrp backup
Now still previous cm 13 rom ,reboot recovery, reboot bootloader, were not working.
But Power+Volumeup ,and Power+Volumedown were working.
So i am not able to flash any rom files.
but flashing supersu and xposed sdk were flashing and working.
Where is the problem ?????
All system, recovery, boot partitions had backup so they Dont has problem
Is the Bootloader Patitions disturbed ?????
What is the way to Solve this Kind of Problem ?????
Thanks in Advance.

u r saying that bootloader and recovery not booting, and then saying xposed and super su is getting flashed, how's it possible without recovery

I found the answer
So to solve this I was trying different ways
First open recovery
In the recovery
I found that the system was not mounted
When we use custom ROMs they are not installed in the system folder so the customs ROMs system will not be mounted
So As I was using a stock ROM system should be mounted So I mounted system and flashed resserection remix 5.8 N
I successfully booted inresserection remix 5.8N

[HELP] Recovery Bricked and can't reflash

Hello,
I've decided to install the Beta version of Oxygenos 3.0. Since my phone came from the OnePlus support, I've unlocked the oem, installed TWRP and flashed the Oxygen zip.
However, a day later I've spotted important touchscreen issues (I can't use the touchscreen sometimes).
To see if it is a software problem, I've decided to go to the recovery to reflash a backup. When I try to go to recovery mode, nothing Happen! (Just the oneplus logo ).
So, i've decided to reinstall TWRP by flashing it with fastboot.
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" -> OK
"fastboot boot recovery.img"
downloading 'boot.img' ...
OKAY [0.702s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: dtb not found)

I've tried to install the stock recovery but I've the same error.
PLEEEASE HELP. I've waited a week to receive my phone because it had a problem but it's broke again :crying:
Note: I can go in Android normally (but with the touchscreen problem)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/firstaid-zip-revert-h2os-mm-beta-to-lp-t3306967 try this.
This happened to me too except I would not boot into the OS or recovery. I ended up going into fast boot and formatting the System, recovery and data partitions. Here is what I typed.
fastboot format system
fastboot format recovery
fastboot format data
I am not sure if you have to format the data but I did.
After that I flashed TWRP
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Then I booted into recovery and was able to restore.

I've tested your manipulation and it worked well too.
For those having the same problem OR want to install Oxygen OS the CLEAN WAY, read this post before: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/installation-instructions-faqs-oxygenos-3-0-0.439108/
It is very important to read the faq before flashing and doing **** like me.

Goto the thread below and unlock bootloader as described and then try to flash custom ROMs.

Not starting after updating bootloader via TWRP

I just finished flashing the latest vendor image + dirty unicorns rom + root + gapps and made a reboot.
Then I decided to also update my bootloader and downloaded 3.68.
I went into TWRP, flash .img, boot, choose bootloader.img
Thw flash was successfull but since then i cant boot the rom anymore? I am only able too boot the recovery but not the rom.
Do I need to re-flash the rom now or what should I do?
Oh it seems like flashing "boot" in "TWRP" means that you will flash the boot.img and not the bootloader.
So I just flashed the bootloader via fastboot and I guess I will be just fine if I extract boot.img from the lates rom.zip and flash that in TWRP?
@edit: ye that fixed it.

Yep, never flash any images other than the vendor, bootloader and radio unless you are trying to restore to stock. Bootloader is the obvious area of the phone you can use to enter recovery but boot is the actual boot process of the phone so be careful there. Glad you got it sorted.:good:

You need to unlock bootloader first then flash twrp and then root, otherwise twrp don't remain installed if you're not rooted
