Bllisspop ROM - Lenovo A6000/Plus Questions & Answers

Hi xda,
First, I am thankful that I found this place. I found hope for my Lenovo a6000 device.
Now, for my concern. I am already using RessurectionRemix ROM on my device and I am very thankful for that. However, I found a new ROM that really interests me. It's called Blisspop ROM. Is this ROM consumes a lot of RAM? I am really particular about RAM consumption. In RR ROM, it has free 400-500MB+ memory. May I know how many free MBs does this ROM have without installing anything? Just a new flash.
For reference, you can check the thread from the link below where the ROM came from.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/development/rom-blisspop-t3566767
Looking forward to hear something from you. Thank you in advance!

TIll i know blisspop is similar to other roms
Less customization than RR SO MAYBE...
JUST MAYBE YOU MIGHT GET MORE FREE RAM...
REST DEPENDS ON YOUR USAGE

Thanks for that, I am just curious as I regularly use my a6000 device. I am just afraid of getting my files deleted by reflashing RR again if Blisspop do consumes lots of RAM.
However, thank you for your reply.

Hazy ROM for LG D855

Hi, everybody!
There is a new kid on the block! It's called Hazy, and it's not a CM derivative, but coming directly from AOSP. It's on a very early state so it's very bare-bone, otherwise it's stable and bug free enough in order to be your daily driver. At this moment it's only available for the international version (D855)
A really promising ROM. My favorite so far.
It worths a trying.
Here you have some screenshots:
Enjoy!

Can you please mention in the op, which G3 model it's compatible to?
Thanks

This looks promising indeed. Very barebone, just what I need. It's a shame this is posted outside the original dev section because it gets way less attention over here.
Looking forward to moving to this rom, especially after the whole Cyanogen debacle.

Thanks for your advice. I completely agree with you. I just asked for permission to de developers in order to open a thread in the Original Development section. This awesome ROM deserves it.

Great news! I just installed the rom and it's amazing.
It's just what you need if you need a barebone ROM. Thank you so much for noticing this and reporting it on XDA, I wouldn't have find out about this otherwise!
IMPRESSIVE work, runs better than any aosp/cm12 i tried so far.
Hope to see more features added soon.

[ROM][5.0.2][UNOFFICIAL]CyanogenMod 12.0 - SM-T700

CM 12.0 for Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (klimtwifi/SM-T700)
This build is based off of the cm12.0 branch on github, found at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_samsung_klimtwifi . Its an unofficial build, not supported at all by CM directly. I built it for myself, but I like to share. Please do not post bugs/requests for this rom on any official CM forum or site. And, I am not a developer nor do I pretend to be one. Im one of those guys who knows how to read a guide and can follow simple instructions. Anyway, flash this ROM at your own risk. Im pretty sure that its stable enough for daily use, as I am using it myself, since about the 3-09 nightly. If you guys can benefit from this build, I will keep posting nightlies on here for you. Just ask! Thanks for trying it!
For GApps, just use anything that works. I always recommend the PA GApps package, which can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/par...apps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900

Thanks man, sucks that there isn't much development going on for this tablet. I appreciate your efforts. Wish I had the time to develop myself.

Hello there.
I just got myself a Galaxy Tab S, but it is the 705-vers ... as far as I know, the only difference is that the 705 have LTE, which the 700 has'nt. My question is, then, can I flash this rom on the 705?
Thx in advance, guys

Use dsixda 's kitchen. This will help you to make the rom as well as tweaking it.
Link- https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
Other than this you can tweak the kernel, add build.prop tweaks, add rom control, etc.
Optimizing a rom is a matter of changes things and seeing how it goes.

Please sir help me

need help to build oreo rom, i have time to do it.

Hello friends, I am not a computer technician, I do not have official courses, but I am self-taught.
I've done rom`s from the beginning for several smartphones and the rom`s that I use in my phone, are changes of other that I encounter on websites mainly here in XDA (but never distributed just self use).
Since I have a good PC and a VNS-l31 smartphone and I do not see development in relation to Oreo and Treble, please i ask if there is someone who knows how to upgrade from one version to another (nougat to oreo or among others) and the necessary tools (whatever software neded to compiled extract and check) to do it, I will try to do my best and if i have alpha level results, I publish.
Thanks to all who can help me, because it will not only be for me, but for all users of this smartphone. Thank you.
Sorry my bad english.
Here you will find people to help you. But they left the p9lite development. https://t.me/P9Lite4All

Yes, but meticulus kinda stopped developing his ROMs (at least for hi6250 based devices), and many bugs remain...
Good luck joja1967 !

You are right, but it is for AOSP lovers (where many bugs remain, such as GPS or Bluetooth)
Ultimately, it cannot be bad to have more than 1 maintainer for Oreo ROMs

Installing a new rom and kernel on my J510H Will it interrupt dual sim functionality?

Hey so the question in the title I want to install a custom rom and kernel on my old J510H which has dual sims in it which is really important to me.
My question is can someone recommend me a kernel and rom that won't ruin this function? Is it at all a concern? or am i just paranoid?
Thanks!

Yes i meant j5 2016 forum
That's a right forum
And about odyssey rom
I have tried it on my j515
Nice rom with a full ported features from note 8
Absolutely amazing rom but for me it used a battery a lot and a little unstable (you should check for your self maybe it's much better for you)
Personally my recemndtion is aosp which is light weight and free to choose what you want
But that model i think maybe be the same as a 2015 model and sim 2's data doesn't work(on H models)(still say maybe, this thing was with me from oreo with aosp)
Other things are ok
You know you should look for what is best for you and just try roms one by one
