I want to use the gallery app from MM on superstock rom based on nougat. I downgraded the app but it actually Force closes and doesn't open at all.
I want any of the developers to port that apk for nougat on s7 edge. It will be a great help if someone can do so.
I'll be attaching the apk file here. Seriously want it to get worked.

did you manage to fix the force close issue? i'm having the same prob. really frustrating. it happened after i updated the gallery and it's not possible to downgrade anymore.

Unfortunately not, i am using it as it is right now. Just a matter of time, you'll get used to it soon.

i fixed it. it depends on the version of gallery installed and compatibility with version of your device firmware. i tried different gallery apk until on of them worked.

Just curious. When you installed the rom on SS, did you install it on stock slot or rom slot?

It's working fine on all three ROMs on my end. The ROM you have is completely stock app wise with the exception of the software updater being removed. Did you freeze or remove any apps?

Yes, I removed many apps including some Samsung ones. Do you know which one might cause this feature to stop working?

I'm not sure if more is needed but unzip this and copy it to your system/app folder and reboot. You might be able to just install it as a app.

The way you swipe your finger could be crucial.:
First swipe: from edge to passed center of the screen
You don't have to start to swipe from the edge to the center of the screen, 2mm to 3mm from the edge is fine. The movement doesn't have to be quick.
Second swipe: passed center of the screen back to the edge
The movement needs to be quick and fully pass the edge.

It seems most resellers are removing all stock Letv apps and are gimping the device capabilities in the process.
I don't want to have to wipe the device and flash a new firmware just to get a couple apps that are missing.
Without the Letv Music app the USB c headphones are useless
Is there any way I can install just the apps I need on this without flashing a new firmware ?
Let me know your ideas , I could really use the help.

I'm on 5.9.466d and it doesn't work, the browser that the dev put in this rom it's too Chinese for me
I must use Opera or Chrome.
I have never used any stock browser at all be it Chinese or anything.. I always use third party browser like UC , opera or chrome...

I did try, extracted apps from both from chinese 5.9.23s and indian 5.8.21s but they didn't work. Currently searching for a way to make them work on lineage. I'm not proficient with tweaking with this stuff so I would appreciate if someone could figure out how to do this.

You're trying to install android M apps on N. It's never gonna work. Leeco apps are not compatible with lineage or anything that is android N

Thanks for the quick reply, I know that it is impossible but I found a working mod for the remote control app so I was hoping that someone had an idea of how to mod/port those apps to N

The remote control app is integrated in some roms. Slim and my rom (based on slim) have it. But for the others there isn't any mod or something (at least from what I know)
There is possibility that the chamber apk works in custom rom nougat?

im on cm 14.1 and flashed the stock GAPPS and camera and video work fine for me
I'm not able to access my downloads, screenshots and other media files using apps like whatsapp, Snapchat etc,. But I'm able to access the ones that got saved before I switched to this rom. I didn't have this issue on resurrection remix or the other stock ones. Weird.

those users who came from marshmellow based custom rom to this nougat based rom are facing some problems like yours and other problems like not able to set fingerprint lock for multiple fingers ( more than one ).
i flashed this rom after updating to the nougat soak test version and other users who did this are not facing much issues. one more thing this rom is still under alpha stage so we shoult be patient bcoz the developers are working on it

Anyway, I don't mind living with this as long as the updates can fix it. Have any idea about that?

Yep, with Oreo doesn't work (Tryed on LineageOS 15.1 A5 2017).

I did but its even worse...or i didnt downloaded the right app or i dont kno to make the settings. It 's lagging..when i move the phone and it's very dark...the exposure ...comparative to the stock camera.

Hey, are you on LOS 15.1 Unofficial? I tried the ROM around 2 weeks ago. I cant make any calls as the dialer freezes, requiring a reboot. Also randomly the system UI restarts. How is your experience with the ROM? Thank you.

It works really good for me, i have installed the full gapps 8.1 zip from the official site. I don't use it bcs bluetooth doesn't work and I have to use it to connect my phone with my car.

I flashed both mindthegapps and Gapps pico...but I had reboot and unable to call issues. So does it mean I have to flash full Gapps? Did u have any call issues, freezing or any major or minor bugs apart from BT?

well, Suddenly while i was taking pictures today my camera app started to force close and now won't open at all.. I tried clearing data on the app and it still will not work.. I have a backup APK of the camera app and it fails to install now.. Don't want to reset.. i have 50gb used of data i can't backup.. Anyone have a camera APK that works on the sprint model? (Oreo)

the camera itself works, Like in apps like Messenger, Discord, etc but the app itself is broken..

You could try downloading a stock based rom zip and extract the camera apk

Last time I tried that, the phone kept failing to install the apk's from any stock rom.. I tried like 8 different versions of the camera apk and none install even resigning them still won't...

You can't install that you have to manually drop in system and fix permissions using a file explorer

i reinstalled the camera app like 4-5 times now, But whatever happened to it this time it won't let any more apk's update over it
Have you tried clearing the cam apps cache?
If all else fails...there is a cam app you can buy that actually can do 4k recording pretty damn good; And the only one I found that can REALLY do 4k that is third-party. No wide cam support, only the 16mp. Sadly tho its $14 on playstore...but, google search might be able to help around that .
