When I through the ROMs threads I see "discontinued" "video recording broken" and so on..
A good working ROM is out there?...

I am new to Android/Samsung world. Had been going through the threads and am pretty excitied to see so much goign around on this.
Can anyone please advice me of some good Android 2.2 ROM for GT5801 ? All I can see around is ROMs for GT-5800.

first try the official update DDJP2. if it is fine for you, you can continue with it. but many are facing problems.
you can also try JPM/JPN/JPF. all are stable roms.

can anyone continue develop CrystalPA ROM from Cr3pt???
I think this rom is very good with many interesting features
For me, CM11 by Plamb1r, CM11 by PecanCM, CM-Caliban by CALIBAN666, LIquid Smooth 3.2 by Skyinfo are the best kitkat rom i have used
And CrystalPA rom is very very GOOd but Cr3pt stopped supporting this rom
I hope someone can continue develop this rom

Hi guys ! i am a little dissapointed about CM12, because of camera and galleri and other samsung stock apps. Now i have a question,
1- is there any good Touchwiz Lollipop rom ( for example S5 rom stock rom ) for GT-I9301 ?
2- Do you recommend to use S5 rom for our lil white girl?
You wont find anything better then t-shocks rom( on xda). And stop creating these threads you have fingers you can search. If there are roms, they will be on xda.

..yes.. Motion LL [TW] Rom looks great but have some bugs .. check the Rom Thread and You find what are the bugs.
We must wait for devs fix any bugs in this Rom and never NFC because S5 mini is without this option.
Another roms are kitkat 4.4.4 ported roms or stock modified to look like Samsung A3 or Note 4 but still KitKat.

If u need official u can go for Bliss pop rom but honestly i recommend Cyanogen 12.1 even blissbpop is based on cyanogen 12.1.Cyanogen 12.1 is unofficial but i am currently using so i recommend this! Both Rom Devlopers are do great job....
you need a ROM without bugs I recommend motion ROM .i'm using it for so long and it has been the best and smooth also .
so i hope you use this ROM and tell me what you think

which version of Motion ROM are you useing???
You new to threats !! .. man I get death threats all the time, but I don't give a damn. LOL
However, as you were asking for best ROM , my advice is keep sticking to your stock ROM it's the best, I have tried many ROM's and problem is that some features of your phone won't work. Like some have camera or sim or *battery draining issues* or some other problem (that you will get to know later), Devs keep on updating to newer Android versions leaving the older versions full of bugs and the newer versions have their own new list of bugs.
If your friend has this as the only phone just keep sticking to stock. Just Root his/her's phone do a couple of tweaks with xposed modules ... That's it
Or , have a better phone install some good ROMs like "official" CM or AOKP or 'you name it'...

Because now my phone works very slow and I though about flashing it to custom rom but I've read that on most roms camera isn't working? What are you guys using on your G530FZ?
