Strange icon apeared in status bar

I just noticed a new unknown icon in status bar.
Please someone tell me what kind of icon it is. Thank you.

The eye icon ? Settings/controls/smart screen/...

It dissapears after reboot, but it apears again after some time.

even google doesnt tells me what is that icon

Also i tried to stop all running processes/apps in app manager wasnt able to make that icon disapear.

Whatsapp notification problem..

Hi there, I'm facing a problem with the notification in WhatsApp, when I get a message and let's say I'm chrome or any other app it's only shows the WhatsApp icon on the notification bar, but if I don't remember it wrong it should at leats show me something like new message from "anywho" and then the icon, or even give me the option to fast reply showing me the whole message but it's not doing any of this, only the icon and I have to draw the notification bar just to see who is texting me..
It's this the way it's supposed to work? Cuz is driving me crazy..
I have last marshmallow stock build with July security patch, unlocked and rooted with EX-kernel and a theme called Milos using layers manager, dunno if that have something to do with it..

Usually to the right, but after having to pulling down in order to see who is texting me..
In fact nos that u reply i noticed that Gmail is also only showing the icon but no preview of the email itself.

so basically when u swipe to right or left it dismisses the notification. u have to swipe it up in order to keep the notification icon in the bar till the time u read it!!!!

Strange icon on notification bar

Hey guys there's been a strange icon in my notification bar that's bugging me a lot I don't know what it is can someone identify what it is?
Is right next to the network name.
It's a circle and a plus sign inside it

A screenshot will be good.
Although, I suspect it's RCS?

Is Wi-Fi calling enabled? My Wi-Fi icon added a circle with a plus when I enabled it.

It's the data saver indicator. It can be disabled in the mobile data menu in settings.

No it is not a screenshot sign and I can't screenshot it to show you since I'm a new member I can't have links

Someone else answered your question. It is the Data Saver feature.

Strange Icon / Circular Bar with plus sign
It is a Data Saver Icon
You can disable/enable it by going to setting > connection > data usage > data saver and click the botton...
This will enable or disable to save data or to restrict data on background of those apps that use data while they are not in use... thanks hope it will help you

It's the NFC button. Go to Network settinge and disable it.

Or if you use it go to Settings - Status Bar - Icon Manager and flip it off. I hate that icon.

What is this icon please ?

On my lock screen, I have a icon in the very top right of the task/status bar, it's a circle with a blue head and shoulders, it does disappear when I unlock the screen.
Any ideas as to what it is please ?

It's the user account icon,for Google!

Thanks. Does this just show on P4, pretty sure I did not have it on my P3a.
Not a big deal, just curious.

I don't have it, do you have multiple user accounts?
