It's 82

I have yet to try it at full volume but I can tell a difference in audio and when you try out and toggle the audio settings in the settings and Bluetooth audio is grood, paired to a speaker my manager uses in our office. good job @dontbelive

I'm sure you can safely set at 86 so I have now and it's ok.

blazzer_IRS : Dolby, Cyberlink Impulse Response Samples
Convolution and Impulse Responses
Convolution is the process where a single sample of a sound is multiplied by every sample of another sound. It is different from the plain multiplication of two sounds where a single sample of the first sound is multiplied by the corresponding single sample of a second sound.
Impulse Responses or IRs are captured by recording how a space responds to a full range of frequencies (typically 20Hz to 20,000Hz). This is achieved by playing back a burst (impulse) of a full range of frequencies within the space and recording it. For more accurate results it is common to use a sine-sweep across the audible frequency range. The recorded IR is nothing more an audio file that can be imported into a convolution software to recreate the sampled space digitally and finally export to WAV or IRS.

I don't know the criteria that makes them single core CPU friendly. But they do work on one! I have a WT19i which is single core and they work fine.
Also note that the IRS are less than 1 second in length as recommended for V4A which is for Single Core CPUs.
They are normally in WAV extension. Make sure their duration are not too long, preferably less than 1 second for V4A and less than 5 seconds for V4W.

The Dolby irs sound has too low of a volume to really get the effect. The Cyberlink irs files sound good but could also use an increase in volume but so far those irs files sound really good. This is based on listening to music via headphones.

Actually the IRS should be normalized, which I didn't do (to keep it untouched). Will upload two variations soon!
AWESOME work!!! been looking for more .irs
I dl'd the file but can not extract it via Root Explorer. How do I go about extracting the irs files to put in the convolver? Thx.

Mine is the opposite. I have no issues with volume as I've needed to lower my gain to - 20 dba with few others. I really like cyberlink as it is fuller compared to Dolby. I hear very little difference between 1,2,3 versions for Dolby and can't figure out exactly what the difference is. Cyber link, the difference is noticeable. Thank you for this. Very clean sounds with negligible hiss!

Each increment in mode is supposed to give a wider (surround) experience. By my observation it's more pronounced in the normalized IRS.

On phone use ZAarchiver, on PC use you favorite archiver/file compressor like peazip or 7zip.
On how to use the IRS go here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
Thx, I do everything in the phone, hardly ever use the computer now. I will look at AZarchiver.
Thx

I finally got them extracted, but they are wav files. I thought they had to be irs to work with the convolver in V4A? What am I missing?

It will work either way but you can rename the files to irs files so that no music player app will read and play them.

Ditto. Which one are you using? I've been experimenting with various ones and settled on Dolby_HP_Normalized (3).
By the way, anyone know if these are in 32 bit quality?

Low ringtone. Мy feeling is that the top speaker does not work or is not sufficiently amplified.
RXSW 3.0, w/o PDesire mod.

The Emperor of speaker soundmod, shut up and take my thankfulness too
I voted yes like most other members. Previously used mods made by ''dontbelieve'' on my old Xperia Z Ultra and it was great. I highly recommend his mods.
He regularly updates and improves on them so please perfect a sound mod.

i prefer stock volume levels of both external speaker and headphones..
@ drorcun, this is mod mate, for stock levels just use stock rom. We all looking for higher volume, read above posts - everyone ask that. Z3 with mm is terribly quiet especially in bag or pocket.

"Never miss a call" Sony, don't ask for mod! Buy a smartwatch

I know what I'm doing, how I'm it doing and how much the z3 is capable of, I watched thousands of articles Abt Tfa9890 and I'm well informed thanks for your care.
Again, all of you, if it's to loud for ya then just don't use this mod and don't comment useless things.

^ Great explanation. Just as you said, most of us would like the best possible quality sound and also the loudest possible without any distortion or hissing sounds...
Stereo sound also boosted for louder speaker when making phone calls is great too should it be possible.
Awaiting your great work bro, will test the V2 mod & give my opinion once it has been released...
Ps. I forgot to ask you, is this mod compatible with 5.1.1 Lollipop or only Marshmallow or both? Thanks!

[MOD][Sound][v-1/2] Simple Real Stereo Mod with Normal Loud

Hi friends,
I was very interested in Stereo Mod and Normal Loud (Not too loud) without any extra thing. So i made it for me for my device and now sharing with you
Based on Z3 D6653 .291
Features:
Stereo Mod in Call/Speakers/Incoming Call etc
Somewhat Increased volumes of Headphones and Speakers
For Z2, Z3 and Z3C with MM 6.0.1
(May work with some other Xperia MM devices also - Use at your own risk - Do Backup First)
v2 Update
Everything much more clear
Some fix on low speaker sound
Somewhat Clear Bass in headphones
Flash in recovery
You can test both and use that fits your listening. :good:

May be you are using some other mod too.
It can't be much loud. Even some are saying its low then how it can be "too" loud.

HMD remove Snapdragon audio + in the update of android 9 Pie?

I realized that in this update they removed the snapdragon audio+ equalizer.
You know why? :crying:
