SM-N9005ZKATGY (Hong Kong) ITV ROM ? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I'm here to ask for a real support. I did research on Italian site dedicated to mobile, but have not come to the head of anything, maybe they are among the few who has hand this mobile phone. The main problem is for languages, but a part of it is displayed in Italian, the rest in Chinese. I would install a EUROPEAN rom, if it is not possible that Italian ITV, I tried it with the ITV, but Odin hangs when loading the "modem"
there is one of you who has had experience of this model, in order to put completely different rom?
is this possible ?
Give me detailed instructions to do this mod?
(I write, and translate with google translator, forgive the mistakes)
I put the screeshot of "phone info" of note3 in question ....
help please !!!:crying::crying::crying:

Spiegati in italiano in privato, :highfive:

You have HK model probably with only 16gb ram, so you can install ONLY HK official rom (tgy), or any costume rom which support your modem (N9005). They both should have full Italian support.

German T-mobile phone need to change to English

I live in Germany but have very basic kowledge of the German language. So when I recently received the new Xperia Xi from T-mobile (under contract), I was shocked to find out that I could not change to English language. Both T-Mobile and SE do not want to help. Incredible. I was browsing the internet for some solution and encountered this forum. I saw some threads on the subject, and the solution seems to change some ROM thing (yeah, I have no idea!). However read some desperate messages s.a. phone got jammed etc. Any way got cofused and could not follow. So I have made this new thread JUST FOR GERMAN T-MOBILE. Can some kind member kindly lists down step by step instructions (with files, or links to files) on how the beat the system and change the language from German to English? Thanks help!
Hey
In German or English??
Ok....the only solution i know is to wait for an update.....they want to release it this year...if u download the upgrade manager u can select the language for the update maybe u get an english rom if u select that language...
Thanks reply. Yes its in German and want to change it to English. Your solution makes sense but I read somewhere that the English update would not work as the ROM has to be changed to English first. So not sure.
Debrand your Device with english language
look at this, you can debrand your device to an other language using this link...

Thanks mate, I will study the process, cross my fingers and try it out!

If it's the SM-N9005 Unbranded version you can flash the region firmware of your choosing, SO if you go to Sammobile and choose the software for Holland it should have Dutch as language in the settings (right?)
Yes i know, the only problem is that sammobile only has the chinese firmware.
If thay had the dutch firmware i didn't encountered a problem xD.
Still, thanks for your reply and keep thinking ,

Yup - moral of this story. Don't read forums after a nightshift! - - there is some info around on the N9006 - From what I have seen though it isn't that much different to the N9005, so a few tweaks and it should be OK.

Saudações tricolores(Rio de Janeiro capital).
I´m writing in English, may be to help others, I bought almost 2 years ago an Galaxy S3 International version, but the seller
send to me a wrong one SGH-T999(T-Mobile), my sister brought to me, so, to send back here in Brazil was too difficult, and I
I´m still using this phone.
What I did, for first I Root the phone and use morelocale2, and try to use hidden language, but I didn't´t find any Portuguese language(I was using a stockroom already rooted from Dr. Hollyday).
But, I forced using "Custom Locale" feature(Morelocale2), and put at Language "pt"(ISO0639) and at Country "BR"(ISO3166), this means all applications ho check the setup language and has Portuguese Language, voilá, works in Portuguese, for example Google Maps, Agenda, etc..
But, after some time more cooked stockroom come up, and my latest one have already an Portuguese-Portugal language, and I´m using almost everything in Portuguese.
Right now I have another needs, my mom bought to her a Galaxy Tab P4 8", and she ask me to help her to put Portuguese Language, what I´m thinking to do is Root the device, and try to find a Hidden Portuguese using morelocale2 or Language Enabler.
obs: Cabeção-Flu any more questions in Portuguese you can send a pin, all right.
Thanks a lot, i'll try.
With morelocale2, will only apps be in pt-br or all system too?
Do you know if has hardware difference between T230, T230NT and T230NU?

I believe there's no diference on hardware, only software, all things related to regional stuff, likes language, apps, money, etc...
I will try to find out, did you check SAMMOBILE ?
I saw that Brazilian version SM-T230NT have TV....so, the hardware isn't the same.
I downloaded some versions of rom to t230 and t230NU....but all fail when try to put.
I can't downgrade to older version...
Do Morelocale 2 changes system menu to portuguese too?
Did work perfect!!
Thx a lot!

[Q]How to change language of sm-900t?

I bought a galaxy s5 sm-900t  but it does not work in portuguese only in French and English I speak Portuguese how to change to Portuguese?
I need to do root? and do the download of this new language
or change the rom?
sorry my bad English i am very desperate :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Pretty sure that a US model firmware won't include Portuguese. So read the descriptions of the custom ROMs in the android development subforum, looking for 900F based ROMs that have Portuguese support. When you go through the new user setup steps, it will ask you what language you wish to use. You just need to locate a ROM that has Portuguese support.
In the alternative, do a Google search for 900F firmware that Portuguese carriers use. Then flash that to your phone. There is a risk of making your phone unbootable or soft brick when flashing firmware intended for a different variant model /carrrier. To avoid that, you should also search for a PIT (partition information file) that matches the new firmware and flash both at the same time.

Bought an unlocked G950U, want to flash stock 950F ILO rom

Hi i bought a Model: SM-G950UZBAXAA from bestbuy, but it dosen't display Hebrew Language properly (it's only about 40% translated, and the person using it doesn't speak english at all) so i'd like to flash a native hebrew S8 rom. File i found is G950FXXU1AQJ5_G950FOXM1AQJ5_ILO.zip.
would it be possible to flash 950f rom? would i need to delete something from the tar file and repackage it?
any help will be appreciated.
thanks!
impossible. Different hardware, that can never happen. I can't think of any other ways to get the language. Sorry man.
