App Back Up without rooting phone (using Carbon AKA Helium)

I would like to move my subway surfers progression from my S4 to my new Note 4. Another forum advised using Carbon (now changed their name to Helium) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en_GB which I have used but now it says to restore data I must pay the premium (wish that was obvious before I wasted my time) but hey ho, I was going to buy the licence key but there were bad reviews saying it didn't work or messed up the users phone. My question is has anyone used it before or could recommend another app I can use to back up my app data without rooting my phone. £3 is a lot to waste on an app that doesn't work or can cause problems to my phone

You have a 15 minute refund period for all applications you bought on Google Play.
Try it and get a refund if it doesn't work.

I didn't have to pay anything to restore my apps using Helium. Just make sure the data is on the internal storage of the phone.

I used the free Helium to save my Apps and Data from Note 3 and restored successfully on Note 4

Could you explain this in more detail? I tried to restore from my old RAZR to my Note 4, but I couldn't figure it out. I saved to the internal storage, but I couldn't find the files.

ROM is good better battery life, with some issues
ROM with no root access,
SD card issues..... if selected default storage as SD card can't download images from whatsapp, also can't backup whatsapp.
can't install games.
if selected default storage as internal can't install many apps.
lockscreen text in chinese (not big deal), can't install xposed module for flip cover to work.
for day today basis this is good rom, Good work Harsh keep the same work. :good:

thanks but for chinese language u need to un check lockscreen magazines(pictures changes automatically on evry lockscreen)

No rotation even after KDZ flash of Lolipop, Hardware issue ?

Hello,
the title describes the issue
the first time it happend was after the first flash of a custom rom. I tried serveral Basebands and Modems but nothing helps. Yesterday is flashed 5.02 with kdz. But the issue is not solved.
Is there any solution out there ?

Maybe bad sensor.? or if you had this phone was it refurbished?

It was replaced by telekom after my first d802 has broken microphone... But if it was refurbished? I dont know... With the deliverd android version everything worked

but when refurbished and worng rom flashed , you get touch screen problem. not sure about the rotation sensors.?
some will brick phone some will act weird.. read this thread

Hmm the article is about bricked Phones after installing recovery or rom but i changed the rom very often and no brick or touch screen issue appears. The only issue in every rom is the rotation.

then it must be something about the sensor for rotation.

Hm okay... New phone is incoming march 2016...so i will keep it like it is ... Maybe someone has a idea how to solve this with Software

Does anyone know how to download and extract with a smartphone ? When I click the link its open in Google Drive where I can only "open" .hwt files, I can't save them to the HWThemes folder.

then open google drive,and from menu choose SHARED WITH ME,u will find the new downloaded file, downloaded it from here to ur device

Deactivate your Gdrive app and then doenload again. Download will start from Browser as default and download without problem

Yes, install huawei app market from HERE (The APK download link is right under the qrCode on top right) then all the huawei apps (and others too) should get updated.
PS : I would not suggest updating non-huawei apps especially those installed from playstore.

There is no Search Function.
+ on Mate 9 I cannot use the stereo+ Function anymore as the new version is not supporting landscape mode or auto rotate.

Apparently there will be a new update it seems. Waiting for that.
Fell in love with this design. Only problem is i cant sync my playlists from other music apps and the lack of the search bar

@jayanak69 There's a new v8 version, but no v12 right now.

Sorry but the Old Version is better because is showing folder . On new App only Titel or Album. Boring. The Old App is better Build.
