i have alps SM-G900H MT6589 UBIFS! vietnam made ,, i was wondering how can i install some custom roms. etc ,, finding some diffferent features about my phone ,,, i am a newbie . my siblings tells me that if i can install custom recovery on my phone ,, i can do customizing my android phone , and finally ,, ive installed CTR v2.4 CREDITS to ser CARLIV and to all XDA DEVELOPERS ,, but i`m wondering what is this? i start the recovery and ive seen this ERRORS ? the full touch functions works fine but with these errors i cant perform backup completely , i cant wipe dalvik cache its says done but it cant mount something that i do not know , and also flipped screen issue ,, see on the attachments files ..
is there anyone here has the same errors using phone with UBIFS supp. ? or anyone here how to fix this errors ? honestly i dont know what is this all about ! hihi sorry but i just want to customize my phone ,, just exploring something different , but i need you masters

you need a recovery that is compatible with your device.
What was the full filename of the recovery you installed?

thank you sir ,, i do really appreciate your response ,, my phone is S5 CLONE SM-G900H MT6571 but MTKdroid says it is 6589 ,, now my phone got into bootloop ive backuped my phone rom 6589 but the SP tools says that the scatter file is not match to chip type ,, i DOWNLOAD 6571 only scatter file then i start using sp tools using tat 6571 scatter file it start moving red bars but on 12 sec. it shows an error .. BROM ERROR: S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTINGS_FAIL (5054) . how do i fix this errors on SP ?
also thanks for reminding me and moving my posts into the right place .. im newbie here on XDA i but your response shows that this FORUM is so AWESOME hahaha

Carliv Touch Recovery 2.4 CWM Modded by carliv .. thats the name of the recovery that i using before my phone got into bootloop .. i accidentally click format system not knowing that it might cause into bootloop ;(

Hi. Your Phon is a S5 Made in Vietnam SM-G900H. Do you know how to hard reset for this one?

If you wiped your system then a hard reset won't fix anything. You will need to search the Internet for the exact firmware for your phone and flash it. Nothing on xda will be made for your phone. As of now, you have no operating system to boot to. Good luck

im just wondering if hard reset is factory reset is different ? but in factory reset GO TO RECOVERY ser ,, by pressing volume up + power button ,.. it shows flipped display ,, just read and click the recovery mode .. then find wipe data reset ,factory reset your phone ..

by now my phone is alive ,, i found the preloader for this phone and flash it then flash my backuprom ,, but !! it stuck on boot logo ! i dont know what is the problem ? maybe the system.ubifs that ive backed up ? i can go to stock recovery ,, when im done flashing my rom i go to recovery and set up wipe data but it wont fix the bootloop any idea what is the problem ? im newbie in flashing thanks for the help

im not having this problem like you but.... please help me i cant even go to download mode and recovery i was installing the stock firmware after that i had installed xenon rom for my sm-g530h it had some problems or bugs so i decided to install the downgrade stock firmware, when i started to install, it was not installing i tryed about 3 times, and now, i cant get any response now, i cant able to put in download mode or recovery, even it dont showing me the charging... please help me i cant detect it on my computer also please help me :crying::crying:

I've been trying to root my Galaxy Grand Prime+ (G532M, Android 6.0.3 Marshmallow) phone all day, but to do so I have to install a custom recovery mode, I've been looking for a TWRP image but I can't find one for my model. I have tried some but no luck, TWRP just doesn't boot.
Please help, if you need any information on my model just let me know

You should wait for some time the phone is New and maybe it might have another forum because its grand prime plus aka j2 prime so u should search for j2 prime twrp

They think it takes a long time to get twrp for my device, i have grand prime + sm-g532m

If you dont find twrp you can use flashfire after root :good:
TWRP doesn't just magically pop up for your device... you do understand that someone actually has to download the TWRP source, write some code and compile it for the device right? Of course, you could go ahead and do it yourself (there are several posts on how to build a custom ROM/recovery).

I have a N9005 that I'm tryin to install a custom ROM (I have another one already with Norma v29 working perfectly). In this one I flashed the original 5.0 firware and then tried to root, isntall custom recover, custom rom, etc., as I normally do. With this phone I can root and install custom recovery but every custom ROM i tried I always have a bootloop on Galaxy Note 3 screen (tried Norma, Phonesis, etc.).
I can reflash to an original ROM but don't understand why it doesn't work with a custom ROM.
Can any one help me? I even tried to change bootloader on a specfific tutorial for Norma v29.

Hello. Yes is a used phone. The model is a SM-9005. The roms I'm using are for this model. I tried again a Lolipop 5.0 stock rom, then root, then recovery (until here everything works). Then applied Norma V29 and i'm stuck again at the Galaxy Note 3 screen, the blue led starts to blink and then the phone restarts. Really can't understand. Even tried the same memory card from my Note. Well the only difference is that one is 16GB and this one is 32GB. Any stock rom work perfectly but didn't want to use them.
Can it be that the internal memory size is causing the issue? is the only difference....can someone help?
Well my original phone is a 32GB. Don't know why the hell I was thinking 16GB... so most weired. If someone could help will be great. It's working with the stock 5.0 and rooted with CM-AUTO.
before flashing custom firmware you should enter the recovey and make complete format for both cache and data partitions.
after the firmware install it might take the system up to 10 minutes to boot.
Thank you for the answer. i'm doing all the steps (I changed roms on Note 3 for some time now). This one startups on the Galaxy Note 3 Screen, the led starts to blink (like 4-5 times) and restarts himself. So is not waiting time. made factory resets, all the wipes, even a script I found for fixing EFS. When I flash a Android 4.4 or 5.0 stock from SamMobile just works.

and i use the original cable usb 3 or i can use the normal Samsung usb cable

hala adel, recheck the twrp version you downloaded is for 9005? check the md5 of your download..
9005 is the international version so its europe, US phones are different..
hope it helps, I can't think of anything else.. read in twrp for note 3 thread also

Suggests you are using the wrong TWRP version .
Read the roms instructions/ search thread .
use TWRP version 2.8.7.0.
Most custom roms do not support v 3.x.x.x

Yes i can install ... Phronesis Rom as a normal install only facing faild and zip corrupt in UX9.7 ROM

then check the md5 of magma nx9.7..!
read the how to install in tge magma rom.. sometimes something small will interrupt the flashing

I thought I'd clean up the phone.
I installed via ODIN official fw = Lollipop.
Then root + TWRP 3.1.1.
Next installing custom rom RR 7.1.
ERROR
I resolved as follows:
Installing "CP_N9005XXUGBPB1_MODEM.tar" + "BL_N9005XXUGBPB2_BOOTLOADER.tar"
Now RR installation is successful!
But "not SIM" (can not enter PIN)
Solution:
Override file "libsec-ril.so". Here is: Root / System / lib / libsec-ril.so
Done - it works!
