Installation Instructions
ALWAYS MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST!
Coming from another rom/clean install:
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache, data
Flash rom zip and gapps
Reboot
Updating from a previous build/dirty flash:
Wipe system, cache, dalvik/art cache in recovery
Flash rom zip, gapps and any other zips you may use
Reboot
Substratum support is there as long as you have root and latest Substratum app. Some themes may have a little catching up to do, have fun testing them!
If you have any issues, grab a log after a clean flash, upload and link here please. Add steps to reproduce the issue in your post.
Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed.
Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after so you log just the part you need.
Xposed is not supported here, if you want to run it and have issues, try an Xposed thread for support and bug reports here only welcome with a clean install with no Xposed present.

Thanks, can't wait to flash. Is Tesla or Tipsy pre-rooted or do we have to flash root?

Thanks, downloading and flashing...

Thank you for supporting.. Will try this out.

Great, missed tipsy, will flash right now, thx.
Btw does tipsy still supports the n6 too?
Edit: awesome on n6 too, big,big thx!!!!

Glad to see this thread added and that Flo is again officially supported. Been running it a few days now after running the unofficial version before that. Everything works well.

Finally
thx

Loved these M Roms for Flo, very nice to see an N version...?
Much appreciated...

Running Tesla w/Glitch for kernel, and I love this ROM. Thanks for the work. I'm running into a problem opening AdAway not recognizing root, also not getting a response from Magisk asking for permission for AdAway. Anybody else getting this issue?

Check magisk if root works, if not you got to update magisk, had this problem on tipsy nexus 6.
Edit: you use different kernel, you have to reflash magisk.zip i guess

Only adaway not recognized or other apps too? Delete adaway cache/data or reflash magisk.zip

Nice to have these ROMs back on FLO guys!
However, I cannot seem to get Hangouts to work.
Full wipe, clean flash Tesla, flash (latest) micro gapps, log in to Google, install Hangouts, that is all.
I open a conversation, type in one letter and FC.
FWIW this is not the only ROM I have seen with this issue lately.
Most pre Jan-Feb ROMS seem to work OK.
TIA for any help.

Booted into recovery, re-flashed Magisk.zip, wiped cache and dalvik, rebooted and AdAway fixed, thanks...

Still no joy
Literally, there are three files on my tablet. ROM, nano Gapps, and then install Hangouts.
I even cleared all conversations prior to reinstalling.
Thanks though

None. Nothing else involved at all.
I wiped EVERYTHING (twice),
copied ROM and nano GAPPS onto device,
installed ROM and GAPPS,
reboot,
log in,
install Hangouts,
try and type.
That is it.

AICP Android Ice Cold Project AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!! Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features. If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!! . . . . .

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go! You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior. How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL: Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions. PREREQUISITE FOR OTA: To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed. You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard. If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

Flashing Instructions
YOU MUST flash 3.2.7 or be on 3.2.7 before flashing AICP

Bugs
07/11 and 08/11 (not uploaded yet)
Camera FC's or cannot connect if you do a clean flash.
Echo in calls (this does not affect all users)
Video/Calls in Facebook Messenger
Live Display keeps on reverting back if you select Photo Display Mode after a reboot
Changing RGB values do not do anything
Android Pay (this is due to safetynet detecting an unlocked bootloader)
Battery icons cannot be changed (Only text works for the moment)
Cyanogenmod Weather not working
Reserved #2

no, it wasnt fixed yet ... but in your cm thread was a patch from a other user!
sam_0829 said:
* Those who are having phone app crashes when enabling data on 2nd SIM can flash the attached zip. It will fix the crash & you should be able to use data on 2nd SIM as well.
* Random crashing of phone app when using Hike Messenger (or/and WhatsApp?) on data is also fixed. This was annoying as hell as it was resulting in network lost for few seconds when using these apps!
I have checked this zip on latest 05/11 build of @daleski75. But you can try by flashing on any CM 14.1 build, it should work.
Make a backup before flashing this to be on safe side.
P.S : I have just patched the reason of crash, can't say actually fixed the issue. I'll dig a little in details for finding & fixing the root cause if I get some good time

Did you found out why Google keyboard settings is crashing?
v5.2.0 (but same on 5.1.3)
Here is a video, what i mean...
https://youtu.be/Jj7HbDoMkFE
I've tried already to replace ime.jar and input.jar from the pixel dump framework... But doesn't help.
Or you don't have that bug?
That would be strange.
(maybe aicp specific)
Edit: I've installed it as pixelfy (LatinIMEGooglePrebuilt in system)

Great, than it must be on my side.
Good to know because it's fixable then

@daleski75 I'm wondering: does your new build fix the AM/PM indicators on the lockscreen (AICP specific issue)? See screenshot.
If not, could you fix it in your unofficial builds? Already talked about it at G+ but they said a fix won't come for a while. Basically it's a feature that adds AM/PM on the lockscreen, but there are no controls to remove it. I prefer if AM/PM is disabled by default WITHOUT resorting to 24-hour clock.

Full wiped... Now it's working.
After i removed the Keyboard from System, and tryed to reinstall it, the Installer asked me "this package is in collision with a package with the same Name" or sth like that.
But I had no Google Keyboard Installed...
Strange issue....
However, fixed After Full wipe
Cheers

Make sure to state which rom you are running when asking for support

As @LARMYV have been using my trees, it should work with a dirty flash. Unless you are switching ROM.

Thanks - but ; also my apology - rolled right over the OP : " Do not report issues dirty flashing this over some unofficial build or with some kernel flashed."
It will depend on my time - if I the time tonight ; will do a clean flash with restore from Titanium ; if not so much - right to it with a dirty flash - I have a current nandroid as of this morning to back out of it if I needed
Looking forward to the continued excellent work
Edit, dirty flashed over 18 Feb unofficial build..No issues noticed
thank you!!! just a question. does this rom have kcal support?

Yes, it does.
choices
Might need to try Tipsy soon - with it being based on Slim ; never had choices before and .. have to admit... as an electrical engineer, really think the boot logo on Tesla is awesome Boot logos don't make the rom - but a solid rom with a good boot logo is like having a great glass of wine with a good meal
Is there somewhere where we can compare the differences in detail?
Currently using Tesla and enjoying all the built-in stuff, including AdAway. Would I enjoy Validus?
Having used all 3 Roms on other units over the years, thank you.
All builds have very low sound output (same as all nougat roms of mxpe/mxs)
Ain't their any fix for this issue?
Btw its great and having nice features and stable but only sound is the main problem till now which i have faced..

If you had tried all those Nougat ROMs, you should've also searched a little for that Sound issue.
Here you go, try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/solved-low-volume-nougat-custom-rom-t3559769

Extract the rar, copy the files to etc with root Explorer. Then select all files and give rhem rw-r-r permissions. Reboot and done.

You need a root compatable file Explorer. When you need to change any file permissions long press on the app click the 3 dots on lower right and you should get a window with properties as one of the options that'll give you the option to change the permissions. You'll have to experiment to get them exactly right but that's really all there is to it

In root Explorer go to the map select files click on the 3 dots right on top and the select permissions. Give the read and write.
Thank you... Now its audible enough like stock

First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

So the correct steps are:
Install recowery treble / complete cleaning / installation rom / gaps / magisk / reboot.:good:
Or can you use another recovey? if it is not remove the link recovery 3.2.1.0. because it is supposed to be already installed.
Anyway, thanks for the hard work.

For installing this ROM, we can use any recovery. For installing GSI, we need Treble recovery.

What do you mean by GSI? new firmware?
At this point you can update firmware before installing rom because recovery TWRP 3.2.1.0 (official) allows the installation of new firmware.
I apologize for many questions but it is to clarify everyone.
Is double tap to wake present in this rom?

Use the latest official TWRP i.e. 3.2.x for flashing ROMs. And for flashing treble GSI, use treble supported recovery. Links in OP!

this rom does not work on redmi 5 plus, the non-stop cr droid 5.0 phone is restarted
Is gesture navigation included?
I mean full-screen navigation?
Everything is working in this rom. Volte working perfectly even after 3-4 reboots. No lags as such....rom is really smooth. IR blaster works.
No errors or bugs encountered till now in 1-1/2 hours of usage.

Which TWRP are you using? Please use the recommended TWRP recovery. And also please provide logs.
How to install TWRP Treble from TWRP official?
Using cdDroid 4.7 and official twrp right now. How to install vince_treble_twrp-jay-port-v3.img from there? Is there a flashable zip file?
Or do I have to go with the fastboot method?
