Samsung J7 [PORT] ROM for Moto G4 Plus - Moto G4 Plus Questions & Answers

Can someone port this ROM ........It's a nice and easy to use

If you want the Samsung and Oppo ROMs why not just buy those phones instead?
Why buy a phone with pure Android experience and then want a bloated one?

Before buying a phone you should check what roms are available. Don't expect that devs are working for your own. And ported roms are still not that good for lts as roms cooked from an daily updated source. Feel free to port roms on your own if you need them.

I've already done it. I thought there would be a bunch of contributors in this device since the nokia x (xl and x plus) forums has many contributors. I brought a Nexus 5 and now I am satisfied with it.
Now waiting for the Lolipop to arrive.[emoji1]

lol..u waiting for wat ?....he just said he sold his phone...and waiting the v5 rom for his nexus ..not for x2
This is the rule: If you want development on sth, go and lean development for that, or pay a developer to develop that.
P.S. Or you can just gift a Nokia X2 to a developer, hoping he develop sth good for it

About CM

So are we ever going to get official CM support for the Pure/Style? I really would love to use CM on this phone and I don't want to use unofficial ports. Are we waiting until 6.0 lands on our devices from Moto?
Cm13 official is out for other MOTO devices. But not for the pure. Haven't seen any news CM will officially support MOTO X Pure. Maybe they will support it once 6.0 is out? But not looking good imo. Might trade MOTO for my old OnePlus if non development continues. I am flasholic. This device isn't living up to the hype.

I'm the same way man. When I had my g3 I was flashing roms left and right it just feels weird to me now because all that I want is a good CM rom.

End of the road for us

hi
see below link one plus has discountinued the X
sad news we are dead end of the road for US :crying::crying::crying:
link : http://www.fonearena.com/blog/18830...now-focus-on-true-flagship-line-only-ceo.html
We'll still get N and I may end up picking up a Nexus down the road anyway. End of the road for OnePlus but most definitely not for us
I'm getting another year out of this at least
Great phone though. I have a few tricks up my sleeve still
That means NO Android M OxygenOS 3.0
So that also means OPX get no Android M OxygenOS 3.0 ? OnePlus One allready got Marshmellow for testers sound Kind of UNFAIR.
Anyway Installed Resurrection Remix 5.7.0 Android 6.0.1
If this Happends that 5.1.1 is the Last Update Unfair Support for the Onyx.
Thanks #OnePlus
No..

No... They are going to provide support for at-least two year after product launch ...so will be getting MM for sure (don't know when ) and may be "N"...for Oxygen OS
Hopefully :/ , i can't wait for OxygenOS i think we will get Android N soon and when not Official by OP than by CyanogenMod 14 or AOSP based Roms
it just means there will be no Oneplus X2. that is all. it does not affect oneplus X in anyway.
I wonder if the opened kernel sources would give a boost to oneplus X custom ROM development as well?
It means no mid spec device in the same form factor. It doesn't mean there'll be no high spec device in the same form factor.
However, having used a OnePlus One for a few days, and having had the OnePlus X for about a week now, I'll be in absolutely no rush to buy another one of their devices. There are far better Chinese options these days.

You really believe this? Maybe the phone will get 2 or 3 more security updates, but that's all... it's dead in OnePlus' eyes, only the community will keep this phone alive.

S7 Edge CM13 Rom / Stock Android Rom

Hi guys!
I'm going to buy the S7 Edge (Snapdragon) in the next days, but I'm a big fan of CM/Stock Android Roms.
All of my previous devices had a CM Rom and the last 2 devices was Nexus.
As i can see, there are is no variety (or existence) of such kind of roms.
There will be more in the future? Is there any rom that i can trust for now?

Def buy the international variant if you want any kind of root ROM etc. Snapdragon as far as I know isn't rootable/bootloader unlockable. No aosp is avaliable yet but better chance on the exynos

The Chinese/HK SM-G9350 is a rootable/bootloader unlockable phone. It's just that nobody knows that, right now only chinese people are making roms (Aurora ROM). I think that should be put in consideration since it's literally a bootloader unlocked Snapdragon variant. I think it's possible to just then install stock USA rom and then root it. (I haven't tried it, but I've heard you're only supposed to flash AP file in Odin)
IMHO, If custom roms is a concern , you should go with nexus line. Even if we had a port of cm, it would need at least 1 year to become ready as a daily driver and even then the camera and bluetooth wouldnt work %100 !

A OnePlus 3 is a great choice if you want to root/ use a custom rom. It has a unlocked bootlader and also doesn't void warranty if you root it. I actually think I should've gotten the oneplus 3, because it has all the features I need, compromises on features I don't need, and having a near stock experience. It's absolutely worth it over the S7 edge for its price.

Android p moto g5plus

will it ever come out to rom Android p moto g5plus?:cyclops:
of course a P rom will come, but when it is fully released and developers think it is stable for initial testing.. no ETA's of course
When the source is released or someone manages to port it to the Moto G5 plus like they did with the Moto Z (which is unlikely) or Motorola updates it to android p(much more unlikely)
No one will say you the truth
here it is
"NO"

I do not use stock, I always liked rom, it was about it.
All the roms present here not only keep the stock-like feeling on android, but also improve upon them by introducing new features that improve the android experience . I have no doubt that android p roms will bring some great improvements for our phones . I can't wait!!:fingers-crossed:
more likey alcatel will have P first ha its just a rip off, of samsung touchwiz
Definitely!
If the Moto G2 (2014) can get Android 8.1.0 through custom ROMs, then the G5 Plus will go a long way too.

Through custom ROMs, it's possible. The community is huge!
