Please write the guide how to root zte blade a601.

Scatter
How to get scatter file for this phone?
I tried with MTKdroidTool - nothing
Later I tried with adb run and MTK Rom Studio, but in firmware.info was that: "dev: size erasesize name" and nothing else. Please ,if you have scatter for this phone or know how to get scatter , tell me.
Thanks

Rooting Xolo Q700S after beta 4.4.2 update

So the brilliant gentlemen at xolo have graciously provided us with a spectacular (albeit slightly buggy) update to android 4.4.2 kitkat for our xolo Q700S.
While this has a lot of advantages it lacks a clean and simple rooting method like framaroot or towelroot.
However, there is a slightly complex rooting method available to root our Q700S.
Our brothers with the Q1010i rooted their 4.4.2 devices with a method mentioned here
I just used the method given there and adapted it for our device. If any credit need be given they are owed to the original devs for porting and testing.
So lets get rooting!
1) Download Smartphone drivers for MTK devices from link given here ,unzip and.
- click install.bat
- if that doesn't work : run device management (run> devmgmt.msc). Turn off phone and plug in. Find MT65xx preloader. Update drivers. Browse local harddrive for drivers. Navigate to folder where you unzipped the drivers /SmartPhoneDriver/x86 or x64/infs. That should install drivers.
2) Download SP flashtool for windows from link given here.
3) Download CTR recovery for Q700s ported by tarun from this link
-best if you rename it to recovery.img
4)Download Scatter File for our device. (if it throws an error download scatter file from the attachments)
5) Download SuperSU by chainfire.
- rename to update.zip
- copy to root of sdcard.
Now ensure that you have a proper usb cable, wits, a strong nerve and basic knowledge of how to unbrick a phone if something goes wrong.
All boxes checked? Lets proceed.
>Run SP Flashtool
>Click Scatter-loading
>Select the .txt scatter file
>in the now visible options check only RECOVERY and double click the long empty green bar in the same row. Load recovery.img
>click DOWNLOAD on the top
>turn off phone and connect to PC.
>wait for bar on the bottom to go from red to yellow and then pop-up with download OK.
>now press vol+ and power and boot to recovery
>install.zip from sdcard
>let SuperSu install.
>reboot device (if it shows warning that may lose root access press no)
let android boot up!
if you did everything right then you have a rooted android 4.4.2 xolo q700S on your hands.
have fun!

Looking for kernel patch
It is indeed a great post and that'll gonna be helping people but I have a issue with Kernel or to say the root of this device, I have been using link2SD with JB with my sd card having a ext2 format but since I have moved to KK, it seem to have bugging me out all the way,
I can mount my sd card with ext4 but its useless and doesnt let me move my apps to 2nd partion as internal, eventhough I can use ext3 format which ends up with an error at mounting with unsupported transport end point, the reason made me to look for a kernel patch, I believe you'll try this and will be able to resolve for following readers and well thank you for this one.
Looking for a kernel that adds ext2 support.
Use Latest version of link2sd

Please try Aparted and make both partition as FAT32 & Primary than install Link2SD as a fresh app and it will ask to choose second partition type than select option FAT16/FAT32, It will ask for reboot it will work after that.
Simple way to flash Kitkat & root it (no need to flash stock recovery, use cwm):
1.Download 392.8 mb update.zip (here: http://d-h.st/MfB)
2.Unzip it, goto META-INF/com/google/android and replace the 'updater-script' with the one attached.
3. Now zip it back, and flash it with cwm, carliv etc...
4.To root it, download & flash SuperSu via cwm (here: http://goo.gl/OSKQRQ)
I m having official final Kitkat update in q700s... and official stock recovery... Not able to root... I want to use viper4android... Give a clear direction plz to root it

open your browser settings and try to find it from there or connect your phone to your pc and search by that file name
Download OTA rooting apps like Kingroot or Framaroot and root your device. Then download Flashify/Rashr or mobile uncle tools(not available on Play store) and flash custom recovery.

[fix] easy fix for balong issue

Hi!
i create a software to fix Balong issue after flashing a ROM.
Download the zip, extract the folder then only need to follow the steps in software!
Check the pictures bellow!
If fails check if cust image is properly installed before execute the software again.
Tell me if worked for you!
.
Thanks.
I've installed TWRP 3.1.1-0, but when I use your software it says "error: no devices/emulators found", even if I put the correct cust path

Hi
After an update (official!) I re-encountered BALONG. After using your marvelous tool, it worked again, but there's no need to reset device (as written on CMD).
In addition, for the ones that get the error "no device attached" or something similar, you've only to reboot to TWRP, connect the phone to Windows and press Win+X, click on "device manager", look for "android device" or something similar. Right click on it and select "update driver", click the second option and than select that you already have the CD driver. You'll see a list: select "ADB composite device" and than finish: you've done!
Ah, I was about to forget: thank you!

Hi.
Thanks for fast answer. I could fix the problem.
I downloaded the EMUI 3.1 as Magyar Telekom firmware from an arabic server cause ru huawei servers doesnt work lol. So I downloaded it I extracted boot, recovery, system, cust img files from UPDATE.APP with Huawei AppImage Extractor application. I flashed these with fastboot (Not TWRP, not huawei recovery). Fastboot from computer. Ok. But at the moment SIM does not work. I upgraded the system from Huawei update from settings (not recovery, system settings). After update the ROM and SIM is work perfectly.
Btw thanks your answer, topices too. This is a big help from you.
Have a nice day, Balázs.

Hey, it's all ok dude..
I bet you didn't make a nandroid backup, if yes just restore it !
Not made a backup and rooted with superSU ?
Here on XDA find and try to use 'unSU.zip' file or simply click here. Flash it in recovery,
then if will work re-root the device with your favorite superuser app.
Hope your device will be newly usable.
Let the community know if all gone well...
P.S.: PM are ok but a post can be read by everyone, well done !
P.S.2: THX to @osm0sis for unSU script.
Cheers

I believe / sh is recoverable only with a backup made previously.
Now you probably need to re-install, even to prevent other possible problems, the entire system.
Save all your files you want to keep and
keep your bootloader unlock code handy (maybe you don't need it).
I can suggest which files to use...
You can still expect some tips from more experienced users ..
You decide.

Rooting Help - 100011886 10" with android v11

I've spent days trying to decipher the instructions for rooting this device. All I want to do is sideload my EPUBs for reading. The more I read, the more confusing it became. Not much detail concerning this model. I would like to have some help/instructions doing the following:
Find & get android drivers for this model onto my PC
Extract or download the img file for this model
Find a scatter file (there does not appear to be one on mine to extract)
I have d/l platform tools
sp-flash tool
TWRP
and others
It would be great if there was a step by step guide for rooting this model.
I know this is asking a lot, but you folk are the Gurus when it comes to android help. Thanks for any help for my situation.
