Antoine running miui? Switched from slimroms to latest xiaomi.eu yesterday. So far so good. Even if I was satisfied with slimroms (best custom ROM for me).
Can feel that miui is better optimized for our device (better battery, camera etc)

Stable Rom: CM 13, CM 14.1 vs LineageOS

I currently have stock ROM with TWRP recovery. I would like some more features and used CM 12.1 on other phone. Is CM 13 stable on this phone? I don't understand what it means by "unofficial"? Is CM 14.1 or LineageOS more stable? I am looking for as few bugs as possible.
Cm13 is discontinued! And there is no more cm, it's lineage hereafter! So try flashing RR or lineage!

CM 13.1 is unfortunately discontinued.
Lineage OS is basically CM 14.1 with the name change plus additional new commits added from the original CM team.
'UNOFFICIAL' means it's not compilee by the original team but voluntarily by a separate individual/team. These MAY have bugs but purely depends on the dev team working on it. Any bugs can only be reported to the dev (if he's willing to provide support) and not to the original team.
For stability, in my order - first being most stable (as per my usage)
1. Resurrection Remix Nougat (minor cosmetic bugs that's it and literally the most customisable ROM right now + best battery life)
2. Lineage OMS - by Silesh.Nair (none encountered so far and has all implemented LOS features + minor useful additions+ full Substratum OMS support+great battery life)
3. AOSCP/AOSP- Extended - Very stable, Not a LOT of features (yet) and has really good developers actively improving it.
The rest are quite buggy in my opinion (only comparitively - but overall they are really nice)

The best ROM for redmi 2

What is the best rom for redmi 2? In terms of design, interface, usability, performance and compatibility. Rom's based on Android N (7.x.x) or Android MM (6.0).
I think i saw many other threads discussing the same question so please check those threads before asking the same question
In my opinion you should Flash MoKee or Lineage OS as both give close to stock android UX. Clean UI minimal customization. Mokee have substratum support and Lineage OS might have CMTE support. But I suggest Mokee.
Custom rom: Mokee and LineageOS
Miui rom: Miui 6.6.3.0 by Xiaomi.eu is amazing! The more beautiful at all. Very good battery backup!
As Per me miui stable ron is the best... Coz other rom u can get 20% fastwr battery life drain.. it is as per me... Njoy

The stable Xiaomi.eu 8.1.1.0 is great too.
About Mokee: do you recommend the MM or the N one?

Hy.
Today, I'm using miui 8.1.1.0 by Xiaomi is very good, both miui 6.3.3.0 and 8.1.1.0 are pretty good. About Mokee, I suggest a N ROM.
A tip: Flash premaca's Jerrica MK kernel and format /data into F2FS. It improves the performance greatly.
try validus,best battery life,or rr 30/12 build

Very good, but after install today new build, if I plug headphone the phone restart.
I have tried some custom ROM like RR, XOSP, NX , Mokee, and also MIUI global and miui.eu
I think the most stable ROM is Mokee MK60.1 (official release version) because is pretty smooth, no lag, and support OTA updates.
Only miui lollipop is working properly without any problems use with cosmos kernel best for battery and performance.
Volte also working properly no signal drops or data issues.

With MK 6.0.1 is the phone heating?
Now I'm using miui 8.1.1.0 stable version by xiaomi.eu. Looks good, more free RAM than global stable version. I think to redmi 2 the xiaomi roms is better than global official miui roms.

Best Stable Rom

Could Any One Tell Me Best Stable Rom For Redmi 3S 16 GB
LineageOS by fedosis (NOT hridayhs), most stable rom among custom roms. Much better than another custom roms and miui

LineageOs by fedosis is better then Mokee rom?
Yep, he is actively maintaining and developing that ROM
LineageOS by fedosis. Stable & smooth
Well I found no difference between ui of ressurection remix by Hriday. It provides more customization than lineage OS. But no active development. But it's stable though. Soviet kernel do work fine in this rom.
MIUI stable GLOBAL or CHINA. Not a single custom rom is stable.
if you want stable nougat rom then please donate this guy: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/how-to/moving-to-red-mi-3s-t3572896
Is this still the case? Any stable roms now?

Lineage OS by fedosis is stable. Like it's been told in this thread

Which is the best ROM to use in Redmi 3s Prime MIUI 9 , AOSP , RR AND LINEAGE OS ?

PRESENTLY I'M USING MIUI 9 GLOBAL DEVELOPER BETA , I HAVE USED THE MIUI 8 EARLIER , BUT THE MIUI 9 GLOBAL DEVELOPER BETA IS ALSO VERY STABLE. I WANT TO TRY ONE OF THE FOLOOWING ROM AS MY DAILY DRIVER , PLEASE HELP ME AND ALSO TELL ME IF THERE IS ANY BUG IN THEIR LATEST / FINAL BUILD , PLEASE SUGGEST ME OUT OF THE FOLLOWING ROMS.
1. MIUI 9 ( GLOBAL DEVELOPER BETA)
2. AOSP ROM (OFFICIAL)
3. RESURCTION REMIX (OFFICIAL)
4. LINEAGE OS (OFFICIAL)
PLEASE TELL ME THE PROS AND CONS WITH RESPECT TO MIUI 9 AND DO TELL ME THE BUGS (IMP).:good:
Depends on what you need. Every rom is different from each other. Try searching in Google. You'll get more satisfactory answers there.
And miui-no bugs at all.

MIUI9 Beta is Stable and Fast.
For custom roms, try daniel.stuart's (AQSD Lineage 14) latest build which seems promising ( 25th Oct build is by far the best).
Lineage 15 from ChaubeyPrateek is with bugs but VOLTE does work with it.
Please tell about the bugs and comparision

Daniel's ROM is also having active development. He is also planning to bring Lineage 15 to the device. So I suggested his thread for stable builds.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/development/rom-lineageos-14-1-t3673856
Lineage 15 with Volte try below but it is in alpha state,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/development/rom-unofficial-lineageos-15-0-t3702580
MIUI9 -->
1. Stable (compared to AOSP roms)
2. Volte fully works with video calling.
3. Useful features like - Scrolling screenshot , dual apps , call recorder , free themes.
AOSP roms -->
1. Are having cleaner look ( this is based on your perspective but generally Google look is better than MIUI)
2. Lighter than MIUI so supposed to be faster (Antutu of AOSP rom and MIUI 9 is almost same but benchmark isn't everything)
3. Better Notification management. ( You can reply from notification bar)
4. Better memory management. ( more apps kept in memory , miui will kill tasks aggressively )
5. Latest security patch ( in simple words it will be more secure , it matters if you keep super secret data on phone).
If you do not mind the look and quick reply in notification shade, stay on MIUI9 and upgrade to weekly builds on next thursday (i.e. wait for few days after update in released on friday) This is to ensure that you do not have a build which is pulled away in few days due to major bugs.
I believe you know that the most stable experience is MIUI Global Stable rom which is v8.5.4 for now.
You are on MIUI9 beta so you are okay with few bugs.
AOSP main bugs -->
1. You have to pair your bluetooth headsets every time you do restart.
2. Volte is not super stable.
3. Video calling won't work/
4. Camera quality is lesser than what you get with MIUI.

Since CrDroid seems to be the best which is better [8.1 Oreo] or [7.1.2 Nougat] ?

From all the Roms the best one or the most popular one is Crdroid when we are talking about continued support to this day.
I am not talking about discontinued ROMS or ROMS with older versions of Android .
If you want a good performance and an uptodate device CrDroid is the clear winner maybe next is Fulmics but it has older android version so let's not talk about it .
So what do you think, which is better ?
Currently crdroid is best for oreo because of its stability and it is also packed with features. But i think resurrection remix is best for nougat.
The 8.1 rom is still in alpha so bare that in mind. The only issue i had with the 7.1.2 is the random app minimising
For now, there isn't so much 8.1 rom to be compared other than crDroid.
For 7.12, I prefer AICP and RR to crDroid (w/ solid kernel) because they run smoother than crDroid.

I went back to 7.1.2 because there is not an official version of opengapps for 8.1.
I don't have another source other than this site to find 8.1 ROMs. You can see here https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development
