Yeah, so anyway, I was actually curious of this myself. I'm sure there's no underlying command prompt, since that has long since been eliminated from Windows, so I assume it would be in Mobile too, but it would be interesting if there were any emulated command prompt system in WM. I don't know how useful it would be, but maybe something like the new PowerShell (if you know what that is) would provide an interesting scripting interface to the system.
Edit: Though I guess MortScript pretty much fits that bill if you want scripting.

He could easily have been asking if anyone had developed a command line for wm6 which would easily fit the rules of this forum. If you have nothing to contribute why don't you just move along instead of posting a snippet of the rules 3 times and acting like a spoiled child?

none taken, especially since i gave you steps to find the information for yourself... the main difference between me and "your friend" is this, i won't take pictures of proprietary information and post it on the internet, giving a general synopsis is one thing, but doing something that Sprint will see as stealing is entirely different... and i won't chance losing my job over it, I'm sure you can understand that... Moreover, what i was trying to suggest is that the info is there if you take the time to look for it, and it elaborates more on both the release and the method to distribute the update and future updates, it's definitely worth taking a look at, plus having someone confirm my source would be nice, to silence some of the haters

I meant to say identical "type" of post. Right on the same page.
But anyway, it would just be nice to understand what rule(s) were broken so that it doesn't happen in the future, AND also to dispute the reason if it was an incorrect assumption by a mod (these things happen).

Well, to be honest, flaming and foul language will not gain you any points with anyone. If you can't be polite and intelligent without using foul language you will constantly have threads deleted. I did not see the thread but if you were openly just trying to gain dropbox friends to make yours and their spaces bigger I don't see a problem with that. But again I did not see it. If it turned into something like this thread I can see why it is no longer here.

BUT in the interest of making things better, I would think suggestions would be appreciated, ESPECIALLY when the suggestion is to prevent extra moderator work in the future (what did I do wrong, and what specific rule did I break, so that I don't do it again).

There was no foul language Kenny (despite Alg trolling on that thread too). Was a friendly and polite thread. All of this speculation as to why the thread was deleted could have been prevented by a simple PM, which is exactly why I am suggesting it be done in the future.
Have you posted anything that may have rubbed the mods in the wrong way so whenever they see a post from you they are keeping an eye on you? Just a theory

I am not complaining for the sake of complaining. Like I said several times, I am suggesting something for mods to do in the future which would be a nice thing to do AND make their workload less in the future?

Yeah, I don't think anyone can look into this as the Feds had the site closed due to many privacy charges and money laundering. The owner was arrested along with others in new Zealand I believe. I do hope it comes back as I had some back up files on there too.

Dude,lol.Yes megaupload and related file hosting sites,were hit by the internet police(FBI),for broken copyright laws,such as storing movies,music and other copyrighted material,hence SOPA & PIPA.

about to launch a server my of my own to host my own, will share with xda if up and running..

The plan is to put them out intact, and as I found them; each with corresponding links that lead to the original authors page here on xda or otherwise.
Guess it would depend on the author...
I have a space here for all things benchmarks. Scores, discussions, and whatever else fits in. If you post benchmark scores, post the name of the benchmark app that you are using(if not very well known), what you are using, your cpu speed, any special kind of setup, and screenshots.
So, ill start us off with a completely stock rom, with root. All benchmarks were run at 2649mhz, ondemand/deadline, thermald disabled, and thermal throttle disabled. Here is an Antutu benchmark and a Geekbench 3..

in a terminal emulator app..
su(press enter)
echo N > /sys/module/msm_thermal/parameters/enabled(press enter)
or do there using a root file explorer, and do it manually, change the Y to a N
if i wanted to use hotspot on nexus 6 without sprint finding out can i buy a nexus 6 from sprint and root it or should i buy one from google and put it on my sprint plan please pm with answer

thats an odd question for a benchmark thread. but, when i reach my tether limit at tmobile, it gets stopped. so i use the wireless tether router app, and tmobile never knows. i dont know if itll work for sprint though. btw the app needs root.

sorry ive nvr used this site before and its confusing i posted my question to a nexus 6 thread is all i really knew lol can a moderator put my question wherever it belongs?

I never could seem to beat Simms benchmarks back on my old nexus 4 I even tried sticking that thing in the freezer while it benchmarked to see if I could minimize throttling but to no avail he's just too good.

to get around the limit you can do this i verified it works on sprint (when i had it months ago) and now tmobile no more upsell page at my limit and no one knows about it
adb shell content insert --uri content://settings/global --bind name:s:tether_dun_required --bind value:i:0
To verify the entry was successfully added, execute the following:
adb shell content query --uri content://settings/global --where "name='tether_dun_required' AND value=0"
If the query returns a row_id, you are good to go. Reboot phone and you should be fine.

wrong thread?
only did one round of 3Dmark, this is what I got:
not many "Phones" get anywhere close, and I bet with some Tweeks we can start getting close to the intel core surface PC's.
