So the situation is that my phone is not booting up not in recovery mode and not in normal mode BUT it is however BOOTING INTO DOWNLOAD MODE .
now i thought maybe i will just reinstall the stock file and get back to business but it is still not booting up after flashing stock file properly as well in odin it goes as pass 100% but it does not boot back .
SINCE RECOVERY mode is not working i could not flash a custom rom
all this happened when i installed a boot logo changer zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65599504&postcount=22 , after that it hasnt been working !
please help @yash92duster or anyone else with such knowledge!

That link you attached is good
its the one many G900H users using
no one else faced the issue of bricking the device
maybe you must have dirty flashed several roms so it must have bricked
Try repartition with PIT
no other way i think

I think my pit file is corrupted do I have the correct one or maybe a link to it. I am gonna try with initial firmware of KitKat S5 came up with.

if odin flashed fw ok then upon reboot did you see samsung logo, how many screens came up after reboot from odin, 1 or 2. reboot pc and try odin again or another fw, LL or MM
what happens when trying recovery mode.
keep trying to get into recovery, remove battery for 10secs first b4 trying to get into recovery and w/out cable plugged in

after odin gives a successful flash phone does not boots up at all. no screens come up and i cannot enter recovery mode
and it does not work with any firmwares in odin mode system status says custom where current binary says official

I was on nemesis rom and i flashed that logo changer zip as i mentioned in OP and after it hasnt booted up
if fw flashed w/out errors and odin is set to auto reboot and it doesnt, u could be sol.
try diff fw, reboot pc and/or try diff pc, cables.
theres also ways to repartition but idk about those methods

use laptop ( shutdown once and turn it back on and use )
use different usb 2.0 cable
use new odin application
Use New MM based Firmware
if it doesnt boot
then flash PIT alone in odin
then if stock recovery comes clear data and cache
and then install twrp and flash new roms
if not work i dont have any other solutions

all firmwares i have tried are from sammobile and odin version i tried are odin 3.11.1
i tried leaving it for an hour as well.
i have tried bl and modem too along pit file
i have not tried kies

Hello guys
I tried to flash a wifi fix modem in Odin and now I cannot boot my phone and cannot flash a stock ROM.
I was on Omega7 (which has wifi problems)
Bought Phone Odin, chose to flash firmware (found the modem files I had downloaded)
Phone reboot to download mode, so I thought it had not worked, and tried to flash it in Odin PC version... but it got stuck at boot.img
So I unplugged, restarted Odin/Phone and tried again and again, but no luck.
So I tried flashing a Stock rom (I9505XXUBMEA_I9505OXABMEA_I9505XXUBMEA_HOME.tar.md5) but that gets stuck at boot.img too.
What can I do?
When I try to boot the phone, it says something about going to Kies and doing recovery there... but that assumes I have got some backup file to recover from, besides, Kies does not find my phone, it recognises it is plugged in, but continues searching for it.
Any bright ideas?

Can u try going back to stock recovery/ any recovry
Power off
Press volume up+home+power
Hold till samsung logo appears and see u should be getting some recovery if yes wipe factory data and wipe cache it should boot up else after this try flashing stock using odin pc
Mobile odin is not yet supported I guess

Get it back in download and try another cable, seriously. Or try flashing with the pit file as well the pda (firmware).

I changed cable
I flashed TWRP recovery and then flashed stock rom
Then back to recovery and flashed the Omega custom rom
And what do you know, my damned WiFi IS WORKING!!!!

Have you flashed the right firmware you cannot downgrade it must be the same or newer for it to work, you can get the latest updates from www.sammobile.com

I followed your instructions but it still gets stuck on the logo
I have done everything I could. I also tried to install CWM but it gives me this error "secure check fail : recovery"
okay for those with the same problem as mine, I finally managed to fix this problem by going to recovery, then wiping data factory reset.
i've the same error,
it was because i use bobcat v2 with abyss kernel so after i would use echoe V5 but reflash a stock rom MJ7 to clean my phone
but ===> error the message just apear

Hi, i have a problem when i try to install the custom recovery of philz. (The latest one for s4 6.53.9)
I have a samsung s4 black edition. I did all the steps on the guide, but when i install the custom recovery i only get "reset" on odin and nothing happened on the phone. On download mode it say that i have a custom firmware but the knox warranty flag has not tripped.
If anyone have an answer please help.

Can you please link the guide you have followed?
What black edition version do you have? I9500 or I9505, i understand there are 2 versions depending on region.
Is the bootloader unlocked?
What version Odin are you using?
Remember to reboot into recovery by holding volume up while turning power on after flashing.
Holding volume down gives you download mode.
Did you put the recovery package in the PDA tab?
I use odin 3.07 and used the guide of philz. I tryed with auto reboot and without auto reboot on odin, i put the tar.md5 file on pda without anything else. The only other option ticked was f.reset time.

In odin 3.07 I was putting the tar.md5 in PDA, where should I put it now? Because your file is in .zip.md5 and I can't put it in any slot.

I put it in Ap slot and then started but when it finish shows only reset and after few minutes without touching anything it change on Passed!
Then I unplugged the pone and tried home+vol up + power but it doesn't go in the recovery sistem menu

Yes you can make a nandroid , go to backup and restore choose your backup destination ( recommend external SD)

Stock recovery has a defense mechanism to reflash it back.
You need to untick Auto-Reboot in Odin.
That being said, the phone wont just leave download mode, you have to do it yourself with Volume Down + Power for like 10 seconds (it will power off, so release your fingers when it's off ). This is a life saver for phones that dont have a removable battery.

Is Odin reporting the flash successful? Does it PASS in the end?
Also, are you restarting the download mode after the flashes fail?
It's pointless to retry a flash if it fails in a single session at Download Mode, after the first flash, the phone and odin communication behave weirdly.

But the 3.0 is for flashing on flashify and i don t have the root because i have a marshmallow bootloader and i must flash before the twrp and next i flash the supersu zip and this twrp is adapt dor my A5 and i don t know what will happen if i flash another twrp as you say the 3.0

i resolved the problem now i flashed the twrp and did the root thanks a lot
Man why i didn't have the root if i flashed the supersu zip? supersu says that i am not on root how to do?

I have a similar problem. I have a note 3 with original UK ROM and wanted to flash my operator ROM to get wifi calling. Both are android 5.0
The problem is after trying to flash the first time I had a problem that the new ROM would not fully flash. reading posts I understood I had to flash PIT file which I downloaded and flashed. After flashing PIT the new ROM did not go in so I flashed my original UK.
After reboot I kept getting security warnings that something has changed and I should reboot. After several boots the problem did not go away.
So I tried to flash ROM again, different tries between UK ROM and my operator ROM, but the phone now only loops at booting. Sometimes it gets stuck at first Samsung screen.
Can anyone please help?

Now I tried: 4.4.2.N9005XXUGNG1_N9005OXAGNG1_BTU
I tried the following PITS:
SM-N9005 FTM pit
SM-G900F EVR pit
Any suggestions, would be very grateful.

Yes I also tried Kies 3 but cannot connect. I have tried under recovery mode and download mode. Odin connects fine though. Not sure why.

So I flashed the pit successfully, but the EVR ROM failed again.

I just flashed my original UK ROM successfully, however after a boot where the message appeared "Recovery booting" then the green Android followed by another reset. It is however stuck on the Samsung screen.

I have chosen the two boxes mentioned in most places about how to use odin:
Auto Reboot and
"F.Reset Time

I installed TWRP 3.1.1 as per link above and tried to backup my DATA partition but it is 0MB
I'm afraid Factory reset also failed. I get a bunch of error messages such as:
Failed to mount /data
Formatting cache
Unable to mount storage
Any ideas?
The good news is I still have access to recovery and download.
