I'm on systemless root, with systemless Xposed and TWRP
Which is the best/fastest way to upgrade to Nougat?
I'm willing to install custom roms such as CM, or stock roms like the Lenovo soak test or AOSP

I'm in resurrection remix 6.2 which is based on lineageos Oreo 8.1.
I'm using magisk, Xposed Framework and exposed edge which is important.
My question, if I want upgrade to pie, what is the safest way? Should I go with lineageos 17?
Edit: do I have install the stock pie from Xiaomi first, or is it enough to install a pie custom Rom. If latter, do I have then to update modem firmware or will this be done by the custom rim itself?
Any hints appreciated.
