Cm12.1 by Nick Verse is stable, very smooth and the ram management is great. However, the battery last a bit less than stock rom, but it never lags (at least it didn't for me).
I recommended cm12.1 because is more stable than cm13.

thx

OK I'll link one what model

Go to sammobile....sign up for free and download according to your variant and try to download using uc mini. The link doesn't expire in it.Resurrection Remix is also good. Just flash koloses hotplug enabled kernel and you get battery life better than stock.

Sick in what way???.It's better than the kernel bundled in the rom.
In the rom kernel the device doesn't even use deep sleep frequency and other lower frequency's. It doesn't even go below 800MHz .And the kernel also increases the SOT.

CM13 feels smoother than cm12.1, but cm12.1 is more stable (only bug is FM-Radio) and smooth enough.
I have wrote a small comparison between cm13 and cm12.1 here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70847581&postcount=494 .

Flash GPE i9505G onto i9505

I'm wondering if its possible to download stock 5.1 gpe ROM from Samsung site and flash it on a non gpe rooted device. It has the exact same CPU and GPU why wouldn't it be possible? And no I don't want to use some custom ROM from here. Thanks!

yeah, I'm using the latest app and zip file, no problems so far.
On a side note, with mokee's default kernel, antutu scored 26600, and with the latest HexaTurbo it scored 29500 Hexa was very stable on cm13 I bet it will be great on mokee
For daily use stable is better. Mokee 6 is awesome.
I Installed it and love it It can even ring alarm while phone is off
Mine using RR 5.7.4
Very battery-friendly, a lot of tweaks, very stable.

No, I'm not use it anymore, I used it about 6 months before change my ROM to PureNexus 7.1
Battery life about 5 hours normal, 1 day with Airplane Mode. No FC or something like that. No overheat. Though I recommended you to use custom kernel and audio mod (since audio will get better)
The RR 5.7.4 are better than Mokee 6 history version (battery backup, performance, etc..)? Another custom rom MM is good and daily usable?
Does mokee support VoLte?
I'd like to know that if mokke ROM supports Volte and also I had faced the mobile data bug in some ROMs also like to know about that.

Cystom ROMS with VOLTE

Dear developers and friends,
I'm using Redmi 2 Prime 2gb 2014818 varient.
Currently I'm on official Miui 8.2.1.0. Lollipop stable version.
Now I want to upgrade to either Marshmallow or Nogut.
So dear friends, I want to know the most stable, or say it, near to stable ROM of either MM or Nogut.
I'm expecting some mandatory features in any single ROM such as:
VOLTE.
Double tap to wake.
Improved battery life.
Stable telecom network.
Less heating.
Dear friends your suggestions are highly expected.
Try Tesla ROM by Ground Zero, it is nougat 7.1.2 and has all features you need but it no longer is being maintained by @premaca , but it is the best version till now.
It could be found on Main XDA thread for Redmi 2, see the Central ROM link pinned by Mike.

Battery backup is better than any nougat custom rom, around 5-6 hrs in normal usage, performance wise it sucks sometimes as cpu struck at 800, dont know why. has few bug also like reboot when swapping data between sim.
Overall it's quite stable for daily drive if u can bear above mentioned issue.

I strongly recommend using RR 32bit Official - Latest update July 10. My experience with it is beyond expectations if you're with 1GB variant like me. Battery life lasts 16 hours with 4G data always on.
However, with 64 bit, I got battery drain issues and poor performance mostly in browsers. So, I switched back to July 10 update of 32bit RR.
Just my honest opinion.
Cheers!
I recommend you to use AOSP Extended (7.1.2). The rom is super smooth, stable, and has very good battery backup. It's the most comfortable nougat rom I've used so far. RR is fantastic but I think Aex is perfect for a daily driver like you.
PM me if you need a link.
