Help shv-e300l help - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I dont know if this is the correct place to post(please correct me if so )
I have a SHV-E300L with its imei and baseband null (got it for cheap just to look into this case)
previous owner told me it happened without him doing anything but by the phone itself
Phone is not rooted. So no efs backups.
I have read that you can Force write the imei code if you know it?
What about the baseband?
What if i convert it to international version ? (i9500/i9505)
Or
Is it posiible to swap a motherboard of a i9500(idk the model no but i need 4g)
and the usb also?
it will cure the imei and baseband right? (since the motherboard carries its own?)
Please help me
Im just a newbie to the s4 I have a S2 and ive rooted flashed reflashed and stuff
Thanks All

Boot into download and verify the model number. Then go to sammobile.com and flash the latest stock ROM using Odin.
You can not convert a phone from one model to another model.

Maybe post in the right section on XDA? This section is not for your phone.
Can't you just reflash the stock firmware?

You know what the issue is, I flashed the M919V firmware because the M919V and the i337M are both canadian firmware. But the problem is when I flash lets say Bell, Rogers, Koodo etc... It flashes it, but the issue is that when I plug in the phone to the computer when I upgraded to the M919V, and even when I installed back the SGH-i337M its showing as M919V as device information.. Instead of the i337M showing.. Also whatever firmware I flash, the MULTI CSC in system recovery mode is showing BMC and it never changes, its like it doesnt change anything in the system other then the build and model number, when plugged in shows M919V... Reason why I put that firmware is because I thought that the radio would be better since my phone is a AWS phone, I applied the AWS_ATT qcn its working but signal is very low... So trying to see if there is another way to boost it, so if I have the M919V qcn, with that correct AWS value it should give full bars, because the Note 2, from USA with that mod works pefectly full bars on AWS with the mod for that.

[Q] convert SGH-i337 (AT&T) to GT-i9500 (octa) ?! see more here

hi
i just bought an galaxy s4 gt-i9500 from a freind (thats what i guess ) but surprised for what i found out
you can see screenshots attached below
my i9500 has :
Chipset : Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600
CPU : Quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300
GPU :Adreno 320
and also 4G network support
and in bootlogo there's no i9500 apprear just samsung galaxy S4
so i am confused what is this S4 ?
answer is:
this is not i9500 octa-core but its SGH-i337 for AT&T with firmware of i9500
AP :i9500XXUEMJ9
CP :i9500XXUEMJ9
CSC:i9500XXUEMJ9
BUT with SGH-I337 bootloader as u see in screenshots
so big question is can i flash this phone with sgh-i337 factory rom or no and dont forget an important thing the Serial number label (sticker ) inside the device with i9500 Written in it
i pos here too

You have a Frankenstein phone. Since you got it from your friend, my normal advice of returning it isn't likely to be of use. So, installing an I337 ROM isn't an issue, but you need to keep in mind the following.
The bootloader on AT&T is locked, with no way to unlock it. You'll need to go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att for tutorials and guides on rooting and installing SafeStrap recovery.
Any SIM unlock present on the phone, unless done through the carrier or via an unlock service that provides actual codes, may reset itself when the I337 ROM is installed.
The IMEI could possibly be wiped, though this is unlikely. Back up the IMEI using Wanam's EFS Backup before doing anything at all.

Can I Flash Different Firmware on a standard i9505

Respected Dev.
i have an I9505 but its board has been changed and now i dont know which board is install but one of my friend install a rom and that is some how like "XXUHOE2" but i dont know that the board is compatible to that or not ? can i flash UK or USA or any other region firmware as i have a problem in CM ROM. Lost signal after few minutes of restart. no clear idea.
Find the model number by booting into download mode. Once you have the model number, flash the appropriate rom.
Listen please check this link. would it help me to recovered the phone from the unknown baseband

is my phone g900f or g900v ?

i got the galaxy s5 , there's verizon written on the back but my sim card(which is not verizon sim) works fine. for which i assume its unlocked.
there's written model: smg900v on the back
but in settings it shows g900f, which one is it?
for the record, the phone has already been opened and repaired once so its safe to think that the guy who repaired changed the board. but idk , i just want to install a custom rom but im afraid ill brick the phone.
thanks for reading. please help if u cab

In the settings / about the phone the info is taken from the build.prop phone located in /system partition. So it tells you what firmware version you have in the phone but not necessarily what is the real phone model.
If your phone was not repaired (motherboard replaced) it would be easy - you should just follow what is written on the phone's label.
But currently you don't know what you really have inside - best is to ask service what they really put inside.
1. Verizon S5s are unlocked.
2. Odin mode always says the truth (photo 1).
3. How do you think which phone model I have (photo 2)?
i got it, it was g900v , when in odin mode it said g900v so i installed an odin update for g900f and odin rejected it , but when i installed using an update file for g900v i successfully updated to marshmallow and odin allowed it this time confirming its g900v ,and after update it said g900v in settings(Build.prop)
Same problem here g900f on g900v
Hello there.....I am quite having the same problem...did you manage to flash any custom rom meant for g900f not g900v

SCV36
What is your model? can be g950u, g950fd, g9500. What rom you flash with detail version? what previous rom installed in you s8?
You lost IMEI, you can restore by flash combination firmware that match with your model and latest firmware installed.

Download “Root Browser” from the “Downloads” section on your device. Open Root Browser app on your device. Head to the /efs folder located in the root of the device. In the /efs folder, delete everything except “FactoryApp” and “prov_data” folders. Do a Full Reboot of your device.

I'm sorry but it seems your imei lost forever that even combination file cant restore IMEI that stored in EFS. The only way is inject IMEI. There are 2 way to save your s8:
1. Go to Samsung service, they will ask you to change motherboard and inject your lost imei to new motherboard. No matter if your warranty has void, you can do that, but the price is high and can take time.
2. Go to local service store, they will inject your lost imei, it needs spesific box or software license. It is miles way of learning journey and i dont recommend you to learn it in quick. It is illegal to talk about it in xda since IMEI is unique identity of phone and can go wrong if inject other IMEI. Btw, it is hard to know if the box has the compability of your device since s8 snapdragon well known strict to developer. But google is your best friend.
