Unable to boot into twrp recovery after installing cm13 on t-mobile d801

I got cm 13 running on my d801 g2 the other day and I'm not a fan of it so I'm planning on flashing to cloudy g2 2.2 but now i am unable to boot into twrp. I enabled root, installed twrp and even enabled advanced reboot to boot directly into recovery but i keep getting secure booting error Cause: boot certification error which is what i was getting on stock android before getting cm13, i fixed the issue before with the kitkat auto rec app but I've read that auto rec can cause a hard brick if used in marshmallow. Trying to get into twrp through twrp, cm advanced reboot, hard key(power and vol down) recovery, flashify and adb reboot recovery command all cause the same error message. Any advice? I tried flashing twrp 3.0.0.4 and that put me into fastboot as does any other twrp version I've tried in flashify

It will give me the download mode message then goes to a black screen. My computer brings up 15 disc partitions with only one partition containing data, one folder called image with files include adsp, cmnlib, mc_v2, modem, playread, wcnss and widevine they all have duplicates with different file types b00-b26 and mdt .

Flashed TWRP, phone no longer booting

I've been following the steps to install a custom recovery and ultimately root, but I'm now stuck unable to boot my phone.
I started on Android 7.1.1 and this is what I've done:
Installed Version UnlockTool_2017_0803(android M)
Unlocked the boot loader using the app
Restarted and entered fastboot
Ran "flash recovery twrp-3.1.0-0-Z01H-20170408.img" (downloaded from https://mega.nz/#F!p90wgAaY!l1JbJilmAUEKTKWu43pT9w)
Checked that TWRP was successfully installed (it was)
Rebooted but I'm stuck on the "Powered by Android" screen
I can see the following information:
Code:
FASTBOOT MODE
Image version - WW_user_20.31.49.2_20170620
DEVICE STATE- unlocked
Any advice on what I can do to boot successfully? I was planning on following the steps in the no os, no recovery.img (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3-zoom/help/os-recovery-img-t3628944) thread, but it doesn't seem to be the same problem that I'm having.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions?
Let me answer my own question. I found that I needed to install SuperSU for the phone to boot correctly. I had assumed that I could do SuperSU or Magisk after having checked that I could boot first ... my mistake. Hope this helps someone else.

Issue with unlocked bootloader

Hey,
I had AOSP rom and i decided to go back to OOS. (xXx rom)
I entered TWRP, Cleaned Data,Cache,Dalvik,System.
And Factory reseted it.
Installed the xXx rom, and i got on the splash screen instead of "Bootloader Unlocked"
And i'm getting "<!>"
And i couldn't boot.
And i can't press volume keys to get to recovery or bootloader, but it boots straight to bootloader.
i entered to TWRP again (Via bootloader), reflashed stock OOS.
It booted, and then i entered bootloader to flash TWRP again, and it didn't succeeded
I enter only Stock Recovery and every time i try to flash Recovery it's succeed but it's does nothing, still entering Stock OOS recovery.
Now i stuck at stock OOS, and stock rocevery.
Can't flash anything.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Best is via ADB flashing latest BlueSpark TWRP (fastboot devices, fastboot flash recovery (name of TWRP).img and then format all so you start with a clean plate. Then move your ROM from PC to Internal and proceed further. But IMO a "format" is needed. Also siakantabg made a flashable zip from the old bootloader. Flash this zip in TWRP first after formatting en wiping everything.

[guide] d855 stuck lg logo, only fastboot mode usable

Ok guys i recently flash a stock kdz file using lg up and i'm not sure what happen and my device is like a brick, lg logo, no notification light, won't boot into os, power menu+down will get into factory reset but after reset the same exact thing and before i forgot to mention, it won't boot into download mode either, what it does it leave it for i don't know 10 20 minutes it will go into fastboot mode and i search in google i saw few post and videos and here's a list of videos or post that i've visited
1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmCC3Md8YVM
2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoWUPnat5GQ
3: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
and i was like hey they booted into fastboot, why not trying flash recovery, so i grab the latest twrp for d855 and run fastboot flash recovery, oops failed so i go with fastboot boot twrp.img instead and surprise surprise it booted into twrp so i wipe my system partition and my pc recognize the storage again so i copy twrp into storage and flash it using twrp and i restart into twrp and i decided to flash a custom rom i picked pixel experience and i flash it after that i reboot system and nothing happens just the lg logo again and no download mode too, this time i can get into twrp, i suddenly thinking, wait a second if system partition fked up, how bout the boot.img, so i download a ramdom d855 tot(HKG) variant and i extracted it using 7zip and i saw one interesting file:boot.img so i copy it to twrp and flash it and boom now i can get into download mode and flash my stock rom once again, hope this will help you out.

[HELP] Can't Boot Into Any Recovery

Hello,
Previously I had flashed LineageOS v18 which had few bugs.
Then I flashed Android 10 official beta downloaded from Asus site (UL-ASUS_X00P-WW-AOSP-17.00.2003.23-user.zip).
Now I want to go back to another custom ROM but I am unable to boot into any recovery - stock recovery as well as TWRP.
- I have confirmed the bootloader is unlocked.
- Can't boot into stock recovery. Phone directly boots into OS.
- Tried "installing" TWRP in fastboot mode (fastboot flash recovery.img). Installation goes fine but when I reboot, the phone boots straight to OS instead of going into recovery.
- Tried "booting" TWRP in fastboot mode (fastboot boot recovery.img). Installation goes fine but when I reboot, the phone boots straight to OS instead of going into recovery.
- Tried both methods for booting into recovery (pressing the buttons as well as giving a command via fastboot).
Questions:
1. How can I boot into recovery?
2. If I can't boot into recovery, what can I do to flash a custom ROM?
