did you remove all previously flashed gapps before installing for my zip? If not then do a clean install without flashing any gapps and install apks one by one from my zip reboot then check

yea, we can flash kernels and roms without having root. you just cant use root apps. im sure that your rom probably has root, every custom rom does. it is possible that your rom has an option t enable and disable root. also, you can also flash the latest root binaries via your recovery. or it could be just the superuser app messing up. delete the app data for the superuser app and try again.
thnx i am thinking to re root and install rom again can u plz suggest latest gapps...plz

you can get most the gapps from the play market. i use a gapps from over a month ago, so you probably wont want it. but why reroot? best thing to do would be to wipe data(factory reset) in your recovery, then reflash your rom and gapps. make a nandroid backup in your recovery first, just in case.
thnx i downloaded latest superuser.zip and installed from recovery mode...everything went to normal..thanx for ur help ahain...

[Mod] 30 Steps Media Volume for Blefish's cm11.0

This modification increments the media volume steps from 15 to 30 so you have more precise control of the media volume levels.
Modification is done in framework.jar.
Click here for more information and instructions if you want to do it by yourself with other number of steps.
Read before flashing:
Do not install this to any other rom than Blefish's cm11.0 (do not use with other updates than in the downloads).
You do this at your own risk, I'm not responsible of any lost data or malfunctions in your device caused by this modification.
I suggest that you have a nandroid backup of your device before you flash this.
But don't be scared it should only change the framework.jar of the rom to a modified one.
Installation:
Reboot to recovery (No need to wipe anything)
Flash the cm11-YourRomVersion-modified-media-volume.zip (If you want to go back to the stock media volume steps flash the cm11-YourRomVersion-stock-media-volume.zip)
Reboot to system (On the first boot it will take a while because it will rebuild the dalvik cache)
Done
Downloads in the attachments.

I didn't have time to update this for the new cm11 update so I used that xposed module and I have to say that that made it very easy to get more steps for media volume

Don't use this with newest cm11 update because there are some changes in framework.jar. I recommend to use the xposed framework module.
I should probably update this mod for the newest update if someone is interested.

I did not backup, but I do use Dhacker29's CWM recovery. Xposed automatically creates a removing flashable zip in case you get a bootloop.

Tested and confirmed working. I have a question...
Is it going to persist through nightly updates or do I have to manually flash after every update? And the AudioFX doesn't seem to do much other than that its perfect! Cheers!!:victory:

microG

Hello guys, yesterday I have ordered my A1 and I am thinking about my future setup. I am using on all my devices microG instead Google Apps. Just wanted to check, whether someone tried this. Has someone tried to delete the Google stuff from /system and to flash microG (e.g. via NanoMod)? Thx for any info?

For two main reasons:
1. Privacy. Don't like to share my whole data with Google. I don't use any Goggle app, except the Play store from time to time.
2. Battery life. microG is more than light weight and the battery consumption is extremely low.

I'm not sure about NanoMod by my installer (in the signature) automatically remove conflicting packages and can be flashed also on ROMs with GApps (since it remove them).

Thanks for the reply. There is another problem: the ROM is odexed, so there is no chance to use the NanoMod Patcher in order to spoof the signature!

Hey mate, great suggestion. It has worked. Without deodexing the ROM, no huge hacking on the ROM. MicroG is running nice with spoofed signature.
Many thanks, [emoji106]

Hi, how did you exactly do ? I'm on MIUI and I would like to replace Gapps by microG, I installed Xposed, the FakeGapps module, but the Signature Spoofing Checker tells me it's disabled. Do I need to autostart something ?
And how did you remove Gapps ?
Thanks in advance.
Can you teach how? You use fake gapps and then, What to do next? No need for nanodroid patch?
