Hello guys, how are you?
I am doing a little research around the web because I need a smartphone and came to some devices, such as the Nexus 4, LG Optimus G, Moto X and the Galaxy S4, which I'm very tempted to get.
Some time ago I saw that the S4 variant were going to get another model with the Snapdragon 800, but I don't know if it will compensate the price, as I think will be higher than the current model with the SD600.
Does anyone know the price of the SD600 equivalent in Korea and the subsequent SD800 model? Did the SD800 replace the older one? Does it have the same price of before or was actually higher?
Also, what are you guys opinion about buying the SD600 or waiting the SD800?

If i were you i would just get the LG G2 or the Xperia Z1 (honami) they are the same price as the i9506 and have better hardware. they also don't have crapwiz software that lags like crazy and hogs battery life. just my .02

don't chose LG, i already had a optimus 3d, the LG don't update his smarphones... btw the G2 has a great hardware!

u can spend your life waiting for the next new phone, there will always be a new version or new phone coming. if you buy the top it wont be top for long, its just the way the tech market works! id say just jump into S4 its got a good dev community!

I suggest you to wait for the i9506, because of the Adreno 330. But if you are into installing custom firmwares , the i9505 is going to have more developers.

The problem I see with the 9506 is ominously forshadowed in the most recent developments with the 9505: Knox
I can virtually guarantee that it's going to ship with some form of f'd up bootloader that will attempt to take away your choice in how you want to use your device. Under the guise of safety, freedom is sacrificed. (Not trying to be political, but it does ring true)
I swear this is the last Samsung device I'll ever buy. I said that after getting burned on the 9300 with Samdung's broken promises to the dev community, and I won't do it again.
Nexus devices for me from here on out. No doubt about it.

People, I really appreciate your help with my questions regarding the I9505 and I9506.
Also, I wasn't completely aware on the Knox subject and will think and get all my questions answered before doing my next purchase!

Hi guys I am looking to buy a used Nexus 4 for $190. Is it still worth it now? The user is a senior person who does not need the latest cutting edge technology. With the Nexus 6 coming out, do you guys think the price of Nexus 5 will decrease to less than $200? Thanks, just needed some input.

although from custom ROM POV, nexus 4 still kicks ass. But the new Moto G with SD card and LTE should be a killer.

Well, I bought my 16gb nexus 4 brand new for 250€ so I think buying a used for 200~ doesn't seem a good deal.

just bought a used one for 170usd last month. I think 190 is ok if it's 16gb. Since there will not be a nexus 6, it's hard to tell when n5 will drop.
Just an FYI but Google is scrapping the Nexus program in favor of the Android Silver program scheduled for February 2015. So no Nexus 6

But its a gorgeous device and a must have for phone lovers like me
Let's discuss its availability in India pricing etc
As per some review s it won't be available in UK but in US and Asian markets and I am quite sure Samsung will release it in India after all they got lots of their fans here specially for note 5

no...........we wont get it at the earliest(if at all they r planning to launch in india),we will be getting S6 edge+....................samsung india official webpage,twitter and facebook dont even carry a single article/promotion reg note 5,only s6 edge+ is being promoted.....................................

and it will be really disappointing for samsung not to release note in india as note is sold even better that their S series...and edge is not really a benefit
some good news, seems samsung will launch egde+ this month and note 5 next month in india,,,they should do it fast and dont delay any further

Yep that should be the best move by Samsung the dual SIM will also have microsd support
Usual crowd is already here, but this is one phone that gets a pass from me. Really nothing on offer here, makes it any superior to Note 4, which itself is a bit of a disaster right now on the current firmware. (disclosure i am comparing it to a nexus 6)

Which is not worth dropping 50k on for (after exchange). Considering it's a downgrade even on size. I currently am using an iPhone 6+ 128 which is nearly full and that's the only way i get with using my nexus 64 for only work.

i said earlier itself in this thread,samsung india will launch edge+ with a whopping price tag(they r thinking edge series phones r having huge potential in indian market) but the truth is they will fail miserably with edge+ and later they will launch note 4

Diwali is long way they should ideally release it in sept before iPhone 6s
There are many articles published since note 5 launch on 13th. Some mention dat note will b launched in india in sept. In others it is mentioned dat it won't be launched at all as samsung has skipped it for dis tym in india...

I was just looking at the Pixel Experience download page (https://download.pixelexperience.org/) and it says there is a download for the Redmi Note 7 Pro (violet), but I don't see one for the Redmi Note 7 Global Version (lavender). So I'm wondering if there will be one for this or if the one for the Pro version would work. I live in the United States so the Global Version has a lot better network coverage than the Pro Version. Especially for LTE 4G. Actually I bought a Pro Version one from China and I'm waiting to receive it. But will attempt to return it or may just sell it here. But I also bought the Global Version which is out for delivery to me even as I type this. Just joined these forums and they're great. Thanks for your help.

we have no official TWRP or Pixel Experience for Redmi Note 7 and it has been out for 6 months. I am Very dissapointed and will sell it.

6? It was launched globally at the end of february. And most of us couldn't get hands on it because of flash sales
