LG D290N bricked, no normal boot, no download mode - LG L Fino Questions & Answers

Hi friends !!
I've a problem. When i power up my LG L Fino (D290N), i give an error "ERROR: Boot certification verify" and after shutdown and black screen.
I've tried to flash kdz file, previously downloaded, and i can't access to Download mode giving same error like normal boot. I'm tried to use ".tot" file and same problem, i can't access to download mode too.
I don't now how i can resolve this. For this reason, please, i ask for help.
Thank you very much to all users.
Greetings !! =)

Remove the battery for about 10 seconds and put it back. Now with the phone completely off (DON'T TURN IT ON!), enter the Download mode and install a KDZ.

[Q] Bricked phone. Can't access ADB, CWM

Hello!
Yesterday I tried flashing AOKP unofficial to my LG Optimus L5 E610, and something went wrong.
When I got the "Update finished" in CWM, I rebooted. I had a good welcome by a white screen, and some random things happening at the bottom of the screen. The phone shows the first LG Logo, but not the second one.
When I connect it to PC, or loader, It stops at just a blank, white screen.
I have tried using KDZ Updater, but it says "PHONE NOT FOUND". The same thing about ADB.
When I try to boot up in the CWM, All I get is a short flash from the key lights, and nothing happening from there.
I have tried entering emergancy, and download mode too, but I am not sure about the key combo for these modes.
Is there a way to get in another working ROM, or the stock one?
Please, help :'(
Edit: I managed to get in to the download mode, but KDZ updater ican still not find my phone when attempting to update

You have to use a special kdz, v10d_download, search it on the net.
And are you waiting holding the buttons until the pone vibrate to enter cwm?

I have the .kdz with the stock firmware. I load it in to the KDZ Updater, and I get PHONE NOT FOUND every time
I have been holding the buttons for about 2-3 minutes, but nothing happend. Not even vibrations, or a single screen flash

You have to flash v10d_downgrade FIRST, and then, when it finisihes, let it boot up (it'll be in russian) , then you can flash anything you want

I managed to get the phone in to the download mode, but it installet JB instead of ICS. Now, I am unable to root the device :'(
Where can I find the downgrade kdz?
Oh, I forgot to mention that after getting it running with JB,it does not want to enter download mode anymore. Ideas?
Ok, so I found the v10d_downgrade.kdz , flashed it, and it is stuck in a bootloop.
Tried flashing the original kdz, but it gives the same result.

Well thats wierd, whats the size of the file?
Code:
253 MB (265.392.128 bytes)
Thats the size of the file that i have. Maybe restart pc & phone and try again.
Actually there is no secure root option for JB (unless you want a chinesse root app)
what did you do to get into download mode

Thanks in advance
Search Google for Hard-Reset followed by your device name. You will get a key combination to hard reset it.
Best of luck!!

I don't know if you managed to find the solution to this, but for anyone else out there that hasn't, just download the AutoRec app. Fixes it in seconds and flashes TWRP Recovery.
need help

It's a bootloader issue, for me it was. If you can enter recovery, flash JB Bootloader or KK Bootloader, whatever your rom needs. it worked for me.
Autorec

AutoRec
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
It sorts of reflashes your boot recovery to TWRP, works for me when i got the same error.

Thanks for this. I just ended up back on a (brand new, mind you) G2. I've had SO many problems with rooting, recovery, download mode, etc... I have TWRP installed, stock ROM and somehow ended up getting the secure boot error only when entering download mode. My phone was booting, recovery was working, etc - just download mode seemed toasted. AutoRec fixed it - so, thanks for posting this!
I had the same issue, if some of you want to know how I fixed it these steps might help you too...
What you need is :
Any versoin of stock kdz. I used 11a. GET FROM HERE
LG Universal drivers. Get them here
If you have verizon get your driver here
KDZ Flash tool. GET IT HERE
1- Power off your phone completely ... remove battery etc...
2- Plug the UsB cable to your phone and your computer.
3- Hold down volume up and power button and enter in the download mode
4- If you in download mode you can now flash any KDZ file using the method in one of the guide above or find it using google.
after flashing you will have the stock rom installed. I was on 4.2 and for some reason i was not able to root with "ioroot" until i updated to 4.4!
so make sure you are on 4.4 to do the root
later you can install any recovery. I installed autorec.apk and then booted into recovery and flashed latest version of twrp
thats about it.... but don't install MIUI that rom is stupid

WOW! Thank You soooooooooooooo much! I flashed a cloudyg3 backup from VK Rom and got this error but this method worked!
Just download AutoRec and choose to flash TWRP. Worked for me.

L7 P700 bricked, need help!!!

So after installing cyanogen on my phone for the first time it all worked fine but I had no mobile data/signal at all, so I decided to try something else, but once I tried the install failed, and I didnt have access to my SD card from recovery mode, so when I tried to reboot the phone it just went into the LG logo and now its stuck at the battery screen. I've no idea how to get back to recovery mode, I can only get into emergency mode, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! :crying: :crying: :crying:
If you can get into emergency mode, that's enough to save your phone! You can flash your phone with stock firmware (pick the one you need from this site: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=13)
You can probably find multiple threads on how to flash a KDZ file to your phone on this forum!
Good luck!!!
EDIT:

This is a pretty good step by step tutorial on how to unbrick your phone, easy to find on Google

you didn't have signal because you probably didn't have v20baseband flashed. You can enter emergency mode by taking out phones battery ,holding vol up and connecting phone to usb. Then flash this with kdz http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176430 ,after that you can try flashing cmw again but you will need to change baseband to have signal if you come from ics(v10) to JB+(v20)

I had the same problem...
1. So first you have to turn the phone completely off.
2. Then hold down the volume down+power until the LG logo is shown, let go and then immediately hold down same buttons.
3. This will bring you to a reset screen. Go through the reset process
4. This will bring you to the recovery
5. I installed a backup or try installing a rom you have on the phone
If any questions just ask. I know how stressful this could be

what is KDZ EMERGANCY MODE?
When you are unbricking it through the method that didn't work for you there is a KDZ Emergency mode that you can check. When I had the same problem as you did I just did the method that I posted above. Not sure what will happen if you do use the KDZ method.

HELP no system, no recovery flash tools stuck at 2%

well after i succesfully brought back my d801 from the dead because of a hardbrick demigod crash handler: critical error and then a whitescreen shows off, using the SRKtools i was able to have download mode again, but then after i boot up my device it only shows the lg logo and the led flickering about 5 seconds and then it shows an android with his jelly open and a red triangle of exclamation i think this is because i don't have any system preloaded
so i try to install a kdz with flash tools but everytime it keeps stucks on 2% and then it doesnt go any further
so i was wondering if any of you could have a solution for this problem thanks a lot and regards
Hi
Look in step 5 in this thried http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/mega-tut-how-to-fix-bricked-lg-g2-t3055033
The stuck at 2% mostly occurs when phone charge is below 30%.Charge it to full and try to flash kdz again .else try tot method.
