Sound vibrate glitch - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Hi guys. I'm running a completely stock Sprint Samsung S7 Edge with the latest December security update. I get this weird sound glitch once every few days or so. Sometimes when I open up the quick settings (scroll down from notification area) and press sound to switch to vibrate and then to mute, the sound goes nuts and keeps switching from mute to vibrate and then back to mute. The phone vibrates as it continues to do this for 10 seconds or so. So basically it's like it glitches temporarily. Anyone else seeing this? Of course I already tried a restart, but the bug appears every now and then.

System tones play twice.

I just bought a used Nexus 4 and this is my first Android device so I'm not sure if this is normal.
I flashed it to the newest stock 4.4 ROM today and TWRP.
When the phone plays a system tone (like pressing a menu button, typing on keyboard, etc.) for the first time you hear it twice, but overlapping, like the tone played and then a split second later it played again. If you continue to make sounds it doesn't do that anymore.
If I put the speaker up to my ear I can hear it hissing and then stop.
As soon as I hear the hissing stop it will do the double overlapping tone again if I make another tone.
My guess is every time the system needs to re-initialize the audio it's doing this.
Has anyone else encountered this or know of a fix?
I also noticed that if I have the phone in Silent Mode I can hear a "pop" from the speaker once in awhile when pressing the navigation menu buttons.
I turned off "Touch sounds" and the pop went away.
Anyone else have this problem?

Ringtone bumping up from vibrate automatically

Hi guys. I used to have a problem with my LG V10 volume rising from vibrate when at work. I would set it to vibrate in the morning and then randomly around midday, the ringtone would kick back on just to the lowest level. I thought it was an issue with the phone that I had so when I moved to the Note 7, I was looking forward to no longer having to worry about it.
Now my Note 7 is doing the same thing. I lower it to vibrate, and then randomly it pops back up. Now I'm wondering if there is something in Android I need to disable to keep this from happening. It went off today in a meeting with one of my VP's - not a good thing. I need to get to the bottom of this. Please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks!
So I just did a little testing, and when the ringtone is set to vibrate and I get a call and it starts to vibe, if I press any buttons to stop the vibration, it will raise the volume one notch. This seems crazy to me, is anyone else getting this? Tested several times and getting the same thing each time.

Alarm and notification sounds turns off randomly

Hi.
I've encountered a problem two times now that I don't get any sound from my alarms and notifications. Just this morning I had 5 unheard alarms and a few notifications on my phone that went off silent. I did some testing with new alarms as well and they only showed up on screen. No sound. And yes, the volume is turned up?. The problem is resolved if I restart my device, but since it already happened twice, it will most certainly happen again. I should add that between the first and second time it happened I did factory reset the phone.
Anyone else having the same problem or have any tips I might try?
Since last update i got the same problem....
Glad I'm not the only one then? I also have the problem that makes the ear speaker really low so I have to use the other speaker to be able to hear a conversation.. This also happened after last update. I hope they resolve it soon.
Someone found solution for this ? I have the same problem now. My notification sounds goes off randomly...and my phone is set on sound, not vibration or mute.
When i press on the volume keys and check the sound level, the notification bar is on mute.

Beeping when on call (and after!) post upgrade to Oreo

Hi, I have a very annoying issue, not sure if ROM related. I Google searched but too many unrelated results for the search terms.
Since upgrading my phone from stock Nougat to Oreo (latest Galaxy Project) I have the following issue:
Basically, when on a phone call, after ~5 min, a constant beeping noise starts. The beeping is the same as the first default notification sound, but changing the notification tone to something different does not affect the beeping. The beeping doesn't stop even when the call ends. Sometimes closing all apps makes it stop but other times I have to restart the phone.
I've turned off NFC, and disabled call reminders.
Has anyone encountered such an issue?

Two issues after installing January 2019 update [Qualcomm][non-rooted]

Just curious if anyone else has seen anything like this.
Ever since installing the January 2019 update last week, I've been consistently experiencing two issues.
#1 - If I place a phone call, at some point within the first five minutes, the call will just drop. No errors, no clicks, no anything. The connection is just gone. Once I call the person back however, then it will stay connected for as long as the call goes. Doesn't matter if it's ten minutes or ten hours.
#2 - After being on a phone call, all volume values drop to zero and can't be turned up. According to the volume sliders though, all values are at max. Sliding the values has zero effect and the only way to reset the volume is to reboot the device. During the power down sequence, the icon for "vibrate only" will appear in the notification bar. Once the device has powered up, all volumes will be at zero and now can be turned up.
Both of these issues occur are not random. They happen consistently during and after every phone call and installing the Jan 2019 patch is the only change to the device that has occurred within the past week or so.

When you're on a call, the phone goes to "do not disturb" mode. All sounds except call volume are muted. Normal.
Call dropping, no idea. Maybe carrier related.

Thanks. I'll look out for the do not disturb to see if that is indeed what is happening, but this behavior didn't start until after the January 2019 patch and the do not disturb icon doesn't appear in the notification bar. Also, the volume issue only occurs if I make a call out. If I receive a call, the issue does not appear.

Then I'm not really sure. The icon would show if it was do not disturb.
Sorry, I wasn't much help there
