HI, i did a lot of mistakes and now i don't know what to do.
Now, i unbooted the phone, then i installed cyanogenmode13 but it had problems with sd card(pratically it didn't read the sd card).
So i started the twrp recovery i tryed to install this "VNS-L31C432B130" direct from there and it gave me an error, the phone rebooted and now it's bricked and idk what to do. PLS help me i'm desperate
Reboot to TWRP again
Wipe -> Format Data -> Type "yes"
Wipe -> Factory reset
Install CyanogenMod and GApps again
Did you follow the meticulusu's instructions?

The only way to fix it is to get the system.img and boot.img from your VNS-L31 update.app and restore it via TWRP
How?
Pur the extracted img files in the meticulus folder on your sd card. Boot in Twrp and then click on "restore dump"
just find the oeminfo for your device and follow this guide (the part where he explains how to downgrade):

I don't think it's about the OEMINFO. The system.img is changed!
The only way to fix is to do the method i mentioned earlier!

wouldn't system.img be restored with the dload method? i thought system.img is what the rom itself is

Hi guys i'm answering from an other account. By the way at the end the twrp wasn't the same of Meticulus cuz i tryed to mount an other firmware, it was the Erecovery(pratically useless) and only thing i could do was going in fastboot but i couldn't do anything so i went to the assistence. They told me that if they can they unlock this bringing it to the indrustrial system, the problem is, they can do it??? cuz if they can't they told me that they have to change the motherboard and i should pay for it. Now, do u think i have any chance??

If the instructions are too technical for you and you can't figure out how to make it happen, following the tutorial, then I'm afraid I'll have a hard-time helping you unless I have the phone in my hand. Unfortunately, hacking phone is a process where we learn from our mistakes. I had a few times where I almost bricked my then new to me Samsung Galaxy SIII, but then I searched the Internet trying and trying again until I understood how do to thing to get it back to work.
Maybe, try to flash TWRP temporarily, you should at least give it a shot:
fastboot boot TWRP-lux-2.8.7-r4.img

I'm pretty sure it will work even if your bootloader is locked because it just install it temporarily. You execute the flashboot command, then you navigate the option on the phone until you see the option "Reboot recovery". It will reboot in TWRP recovery, then you could use the interface to install this recovery backup of Marshmallow. Instructions on how to install the recovery backup in TWRP, are here.

brother another think is that when m on recovery mode and click on apply update from sdcard its shows (Internal and external memory cannot be mounted)
i think my sdcard storege is corrupted m not able to right any thing. and i had already tried that twrp recovey Method witch is not work for me may be tha resasion is corrupte memory.

Bruh! Just do this.
Open TWRP and Make sure you have 3.1.1.0 version.
Download any firmware for your phone and flash it with TWRP and done! Is that hard? P.s 3.1.1.0 TWRP can flash update.app file but it needs to be in zip file

I tried to install revolution twrp for nougat and im now in bootloop please help

1.flash twrp via fastboot

7.in recovery go to reboot-> reboot bootloader
8.flash stock nougat's recovery with fastboot

Put the nougat file in C:/Users/(PC NAME)
Reboot your phone to fastboot
Open CMD and type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

I don't know how to reboot in fastboot because in adb it just saying waiting for device
Edit: It did flash last time recovery.img but after that i couldnt get into revolution to do factory reset.

Connect the phone to the PC and hold volume down while the phone is rebooting. Done!

If i were you, i better go to MM. You will regret your choise when you stay on Nougat. Just downgrade to MM

Oh I would like to do that as well.. but the tutorial is on Spanish and when translate it still things are in Spanish. I downloaded the vns-l21c66b131.. but tutorial is way too long and non-understanable for me to get it back on MM.
So in that way i would just like to fix this nougat in some simpler way, so if u have time to write me some fast way what should i do to boot from nougat recovery android.

To downgrade, you must flash the OEMINFO.IMG and then flash the update.app (MM) using the 3 buttons method

This oeminfo C432oEMINFO-DUALSIM-P9LITE.ZIP from Nougat TWRP? and then it should lock bootloader and i'll be able to flash update.app?? Because with 3 button method it goes into TWRP recovery

Yes. That .zip file. Flash it with TWRP. After that, put the update.app (MM) in the SD CARD in the dload folder. then use the 3 button method.

I was able to downgrade two times without flash oem once from 329 and once from 336 to mm161 wich i had before with 3 butons method .I put the 161 in dload.

Bootloader is locked now, but I can't enter in 3 buttons method (I did put on sdcard/dload/update.app)
it enters only in Huawei eRecovery

For the problem, if you still can access to TWRP, flash c432 oeminfo then dload the update.app. In this way you will be able to restore your device. If you need a tutorial, you can find countless in the Guide/Q&A sections.
And remember that if you are on the "Revolution ROM" you can't do a factory reset or the phone will brick.

but ....... I am in twrp unable to reboot into my rom. When I click on Install I see all these folders with letters and numbers and what my original folders.

You will more than likely need to format data. This will cause you to loose everything. But that is what you are seeing, those folders, are your data. Just encrypted.
Also make sure you are on the latest version of TWRP. Sometimes the older unsupported version had encryption errors.

Got the same problem, Solved After reboot in twrp and enter the good decryption code
I'm right in the middle of reflashing. I am trying everything else before I do say goodbye to my pictures! :crying:

First time entering in twrp after flashing update, I did not get folder to flash magisk, did a reboot and get it, just a bad encryption code I think

Yup, I sure did! 4am couldn't sleep so I thought I would finally put a fingerprint mod on; which I have done this before with no issues. For the life of me, I don't remember which mod I tried to install thru Magisk.
My phone is currently stuck on "Phone is starting"
I also think it's time to look into some sort of automatic back up service..... Got any ideas?

First time entering in twrp after flashing update, I did not get folder to flash magisk, did a reboot and get it, just a bad encryption code I think
Did u flash rom or anything else before getting this problem ?

Use msmdownloadtool, have u tried using magisk uninstall in twrp with zip file ? Then boot and uninstall the "****in" fantastic module... maybe it works
I did try to uninstall Magisk in twrp using adb shell. I never had any luck with that msmdownloadtool and not only that it relocks your bootloader.

I saw this happen when I used the official TWRP app.
It went away when I used this TWRP. Hope that helps.
I'm glad you already know not to use the MSM tool. Too many people jump straight to this.....
You just need to boot the correct recovery and your data will decrypt, and you will be able to back it up to a PC, then you can reload your ROM via TWRP or Fastboot to get the phone bootable again. So now it's a question of what ROM were you running before. Do you need a recovery with the latest security patch or something older? What TWRP are you running. Try 3.3.1-6 psychen6 linked too first. Boot that image from Fastboot. See if your password/pin will work to decrypt your data.
