G760 sleep of death, any solution? - Huawei Ascend G7 Questions & Answers

When my g7 ascend goes to sleep, it sometimes stays there and is unresponsive until I do a reset. Some saybit could be the CPU clock dipping too low when idle. Are there any solution to this? Maybe a kernel?

I can suggest you to reinstall the system again putting the UPDATE.APP in the dload folder in sdcars.
In this case, it is the best solution to do a clean install of the system.

Shutdown after boot?

Hi there,
I'm getting crazy with my zuk because an afternoon it decided to shutdown some seconds after boot. I had recently installed CM14. I can turn it on, insert the pin, wait some seconds and then it will show the shutdown animation and it turn itself off. The battery is stuck at 50%. I've tried to change the battery, change rom (now I've lineage), change recovery, wipe it all but nothing. What i can not understand is that i can use the recovery for hours without a problem.
What can i do? Do you think that it's an hardware or software problem? Have you already seen this problem?
Thanks a lot and sorry for my english

Well battery stucks at 50%? I saw the same problem in one post and the solution was to change the battery. Change it if you haven't or else use any other official rom like ZUi or RR Roms.

Battery charging problems. [Info]

This post is more informational if anyone get the same problem with huawei p8 lite.
Today i have plugged my phone to charger, power it on and realized that after an hour battery is still at 3%. After reboot nothing changed. I want to mention that battery is not broken and its phone issue, it can happen on every p8 lite phone. Ok, phone plugged, showing charging but starts to loose % till 0. After that i have long fight to solve problem with charging. On some site i read that powering up and plugging at huawei logo at good moment fix it and ppl agreed with it, but i cant get the timing and have issues to even power up phone. Here's what i do:
I tried to boot in recovery (have stock rom, and twrp) and phone was at 3% not charging still. I go as far as i can to advanced>file manager opened data folder and simply delete batterystats file (only way to wipe battery status through twrp) and it works as charm. Hope that you wont get that problem but if you had it try wiping batterystats, or try your timing with mentioned above metod: https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/265933/Why+my+phone+doesnt+charge#answer343508
additional info:
-stock rom android 6.0
-flashed xposed, dolby atmos & camera tweaks
-twrp 3.0.2-0
-orginal charger

ZTE Blade A6 Lite guys help to get (root)
Good day, need help,
there is a zte blade A6 lite, everything worked fine, but then one day hung on the screen saver and cyclically started to reboot.
All firmware which found in online; it is ZTE_NMF26F_ZTE_BLADE_A 0622_7_1_1 and update
on this and neighboring forums., I can go to the standard bootloader and update with a flash drive and the update file, it picks up, and it seems even that it loads, but after rebooting the same, hanging on the screen saver and reboots.
and other firmware., recovery update can't.
Help or guide in the right direction, Thanks in Advance.

The indicator is constantly on in red, even when turned off, what could it be? Do not depend on the battery level.

Data Partition always destroyed after turning off phone

Hello there.
I have a Asus Zenphone Selfie (Z00T) with an unlocked bootloader and a custom ROM.
Since a few days I started experiencing something completely weird.
Every time when my phone gets restarted by itself OR if phone is turned off because battery suddenly died, phone gets stucked on bootanimation.
This can be solved by wiping data partition but it isn't always possible.
Another way is to never turn my phone off again. However this isn't always possible to keep it on since it also could happen that I'm not at home and my battery suddenly died.
Tried flashing stock rom then again rooting and flashing custom rom still it happens each time when phone is shut down by itself.
What can I do? Could it be that my flash memory could be corrupted or something could have happened with one of the partitions of the phone?
Greetings.
Anyone please help...
Someone please respond to the thread
try changing the battery buy a new branded asus battery

Bootloop after battery dying due to overheat

My phone has been operating perfectly fine up until a video meeting I had today, where the phone went from 100% to 0% by the end. This Axon 7 has had a lot of wear and tear on the battery so that is normal. Today the phone was very very hot during shutdown.
Upon trying to reboot, I am stuck in a bootloop. I have Lineage installed, and tried Stock but that wouldnt even get to the booting animation. I uninstalled Magisk before these tests. Now I am back on Magisk, in LineageOS (latest build) and managed to get back to the booting animation.
Does anyone know any kind of damage that could occur with a hot phone during normal operation (not boot or shutdown) shutting down? A bootloop seems like a strange result.
If you can still boot to twrp, just stay there and let it charge a bit, maybe 20% + battery level. I experienced this situation twice already.
The first one I experienced this, it won't even boot or even charge while it's off. I even opened up the phone to reconnect the battery. The second time, I was able to boot to twrp. So I let it charge while in twrp. HTH

This was the solution, however, along with something else.
The phone only charged correctly in TWRP, so I advise that. Definitely uninstall magisk so it doesnt patch other installs (I've noticed its installer gets called every time I flash a rom). I still had bootloop so I assume all my hard-resetting didnt help. I got it to fully boot on Bliss, but since I kinda miss Lineage I may return to it later today. (I love my "0% brightness" and blue light filter among other lineage features).
