Your Huawei ID is registered on the other site, and can’t log in. - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello, everyone. I got this notification when i try to log in with my Huawei ID on the official EMUI 5.0 site: "Your Huawei ID is registered on the other site, and can’t log in. Please register a new Huawei ID on the current site.". I try to unlock the bootloader but i can't do anything if i received this notification. I askef about this problem, the Huawei romanian team and they said a funny conclusion: "The Huawei ID can be used, just for our phones!" (but i have a Huawei P9 Lite...dohhhh). Here is the site where i try to unlock the bootloader: http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/hwdownload/download

Check your PM!
Anyone who need bootloader unlock code, please PM with data for a check in...

So, yesterday i sent a mail to Huawei Romania division and i get this answer:"The service to obtain the unlock code for bootloader is not avaible for the smartphones commercialized in Romania, because this operation is not in concordance with the the guarantee offered in the local zone. "

Try to get it on the chinese site, often it is the only one working.

I have the same problem.
Did anyone came up with a solution ?

Just create a new account or try in chinese website

Anyone have a link to a site that works to get an unlock code?
The whole Huawei ID thing is real pain and their multiple websites confusing - and that's just the english ones.
I stand no chance with the Chinese.

Use the Huawei English site with Mozilla and you won't have any problem

Can you please specify the concrete website address where you've encountered this error?
For me it happened on hwid5.vmall.com. I've tried then on the cloud.huawei.com one, which redirected me on the hwid7.vmall.com login portal, from where it worked (after validating the verification code that was sent to the email address associated to the Huawei ID account).
NB: All the above URL fragments have the https prefix. I am not allowed to post outside links because my XDA forums account is fresh.

I agree. Apparently, you have to create a new account, using a different e-mail address than the one you registered your Huawei P9 with, earlier, to be able to get the bootloader unlocking code. I successfully unlocked my Huawei P9. You can find more information on how to unlock your Huawei P9, once you have the unlock code, on this website: https://theunlockr.com/2016/12/06/root-huawei-p9-p9-plus/.
Btw, I wouldn't advise to PM this gtdaniel guy (see above). He wants your serial number, imei and product id. I'm not saying he can't be trusted, but I wouldn't share that kind of information with anyone you don't know.

Heyho,
- just to answer -
u "normally" doesn't need to be logged on ur ID for 14 days. I registered some day with another xda member ~5 acc for ~20 devices, we could instantly get the unlock codes for the devices. The only prob is, u can't "register" more then 5 devices on an acc.

Sebastian

PLEASE HELP D:
When I login on the huawei homepage, I haven't the "Unlock" voice in the menu. What should I do?

GPS Does not Work - Lenovo S890

Hi folks,
Just bought a lenovo S890 from China and brought it to Europe.
I can't make the GPS to find the satellite ?
Searching forever and never found anything ?
Any idea ?
Thank guys..
I had the same problem with my Chinese-market Goophone Y5.
This thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732030 helped me immensely.
Of course, I was willing and able to root the phone then edit the gps.conf file and then apply the changes using the FasterFix app. If you're a noob then it's kind of complicated and since you'll be groping around in the innards of your phone's file system there's wide scope for breaking something. I sort of knew what I was doing and I soft-bricked my phone twice. But if you're willing to take the risk,,,
Unless of course there's an app which will do all the above risk-free, but if there is, I didn't find it...

Lenovo S890
Hi Everyone
I just ordered a new Lenovo S890 from Asia.
Is there any chance to root it and install a custom rom on it?
Links to good thread will be appreciated.
I want to root it, make it multi language and install an non chinese rom, to be able to have the market etc...
The shop Etotalk has developped a custom rom but they don't want to sell it.
People from India or Russia, maybe can help?
I found some links but in chinese so it is a little difficult to understand a word.
Maybe we should create a dedicated Lenovo S890 Thread?
Thx for any help
Christophe
root
If someone has a working driver it is easy to root the phone.
I cant install the phone to use ADB software
Please someone provide the driver.
With kind regards
root and Rom
In some Chinese stores offer the service to root, then there must be tools, which so far no one makes public.
In etoltak have a Rom, someone could also make it public.
Regards.
This file is from a chinese site who say with this it can be rooted.
It doesnt work for me.
Can someone test it?

google it and download and install it on your computer if you are using a windows pc
then connect you lenovo and the software should recognize your device and give you a button so as to
root your device
note ;this software is not multi lingual so you will have to bear with the mandarian or something

If you just updated to the 4.1.1 OTA updated pushed by Lenovo, there is no current rooting solution (simple PC tool) at the moment... this is what I summed up from the Chinese Lenovo forums...
I don't actually have the phone here to try and root it again somehow (was rooted by the chinese seller when he shipped it, before the OTA...)

Here are the resources I found regarding S890:
(google translate is your friend...)
Russian forum: I cannot post the link since I have less than 10 posts... available via PM I guess....
The russians actually offer the USB drivers... and a TWRP recovery guide... looks nice, tomorrow I'll get the 4.1.1 un-rooted S890 to test everything I downloaded and some more...
Chinese forum: I cannot post the links since I have less than 10 posts... available via PM I guess....
I also downloaded the ROMs I found on the RUS and on the Chinese forums... I can upload them to a safe location for sharing if you want to test it... after you have managed to install the recovery (in english) and get rooted...
Any news/suggestions... highly appreciated
Thanks!

Failed asking Unlock code from Xiaomi web

Hi, today my Redmi 3s Prime arrived, but when I ask the unlock code from the web: http://www.miui.com/unlock/ and put my number. On the right of the textbox of confirmation code say "failed", and then "resend", someone had the same problem? I've tried with 2 differents accounts and 2 differents numbers... I'm from Argentina if is that relevant..
(sorry my eng)
it's silly to ask...but have u entered the area code...like +xx?
Is a good question, but yes I entered, as many forms as I can... +54 9112415........ +54 112415...... +54901124.... (54 and 9 is the code of my country) I tried in many forms really, thanks for answer
Edit: the +54 is entered by the web when u select your country, not?
Done, was an error from the web, me and other people posted the error on the MIUI forums and they fix it, very quickly!

How exactly do you get the code to root off Huawei...

I have tried this week to source my bootloader unlock code without paying for Dc..
I followed a load of links from XDA, Online to the Huawei site which should be possible but it just takes me to the home page and i cant see any where to register or obtain this boot loader unlock code.
I emailed Huawei and i get this email back so im not sure what they are asking me to do...!i sent them all the required details.
Huawei Customer Service is pleasure to be at your service, sorry to bring you the trouble,if you want to unlock your phone, you should meet these conditions as follow:
1.Please register your Huawei ID in our official website http://huawei.com/en/ on your phone.
2.Log in your Huawei ID on your phone for continuously 14 days.
3.Each Huawei ID should not apply for the unlock code more than twice within half years. If you meet the information, please go to http://emui.huawei.com/en/ and click the 'download'button to login your Huawei ID other than any other third party ID to apply for the unlock code. Please contact us by mail or local service hotline as following if error message appears.
TEL: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=hotline
Mail: http://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/index.htm?tag=email
Please submit your mobile model, SN, IMEI/MEID and erro message in your e-mail.We also need to know that your phone is rooted, it can be out of the best working state and part of functions may not be able to work normally. In additon, the system is vulnerable to be invaded by viruses once your phone is permitted to unlock. What's more, for the lacking of fully tested, the third party software will not be compatible with your phone. Unlocking will bring unexpected negative impacts and the device will be not normal, and can not be restored, Huawei after-sales service office will not provide warranty service for your rooted phone, and you may bear the cost. So we strongly advise you to think it twice.
If you have any other problems, please send your feedback to us. We will be at your service to help you to solve your problems.
Once again thank you for contacting Huawei device.
Best Regards.

Unlock bootloader code.

Hello.
I've tried to unlock bootloader but, when it gets the time to get the code from Huawei's site, it just doesn't work.
There's no Unlock page, and whenever I try to acess the [...]/en/plugin/unlock/index url, it just shows up a 404 error.
How can I get the code? Is there another way?
I've tried also to use IE and Mozilla, but nothing changed.

Yes, you are right, i saw this on italian forum that Huawei since 20/04/2018
remover dowload section and unlock section too.
As reported above anyone want to unlock the bootloader have to use dc-unlocker.
Have a nice day too dude..
Hi if u email Huawei support Ireland they will provide one for you you need to email all details just give them a shout they emailed me back today saying they could do it
This is true. They have remove the unlocking tab from their webpage. So even if you sign in there is no way to request for the unlocking codes from official huawei website. If you go to DC-unlocker, unfortunately you will have to pay money to get the codes from them.

How to unlock bootloader with success (customer care) - WORKING
Hi,
I tried with the following and i received it via mail in 24hrs.
1) Go to h t t p s://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/ and select "email us"
2) Select "complaints" (subject) and "others" (category)... I'm from Romania but I selected Belgium since from ROmania they told me I will have to wait for the service to comeback (phone is bought from ROmania).
I wrote the following:
"Content:I had the bootloader unlocker code for my phone but somehow i lost the code and its locked again. Please check all the details:
IMEI 1: you write your own imei
IMEI 2: you write your own imei *#06#
S/N: Written on the box, i dont think this is mandatory
Product number: this is mandatory, you can find your product number by typing: *#*#1357946#*#*
Looking forward hearing from you"
3) afterwards I received this email:
"Dear Marius,
Thank you for contacting Huawei Customer Care.
In response to your email, we will provide you with the bootloader code for your device but before doing so we would like to know the reason why you request it.
We are looking forward to your reply. Should you have any further questions, feel free to contact us.
I wish you a nice day!
Kind regards,
Diana
Huawei Customer Care Team"
4) I wrote them this message:
"Hi Diana,
I had it also last year, because I wanted to take full advantage of the latest version of android and in my region, it would only appear couple of months after plus i'm a developer and custoner requests apps/sites to function over android 6, and i had 5. I cannot do the debug and the workflow for me since i dont have access to latest versions...
Thank you,
Marius
"
5) They wrote back:
"Dear Marius,
Thank you for your patience.
I have received the necessary code you need to use in order to root your device.
Bootloader code: EDITED
As explained in our previous e-mails, please note that using the bootloader code and rooting the device will void the warranty.
I hope this proves to be of assistance and wish you a wonderful day! Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Also, in the following hours you will receive an email with a short survey regarding the experience you had with Huawei Customer Care. We would really much appreciate your feedback."
Hope this help you
The way in which Marius obtained the code worked for me, I only changed the region from Belgium to UK, since they respond quite quicker, that's my opinion. The only thing left for them to do is send the bootloader code. So if you want a 1:1 model of what to send on Huawei Support, you can copy paste his example.
Merci Marius, m-am chinuit de vreo.. 3 zile insa vad ca metoda ta a mers in mai putin de 3 ore.

I had it also last year, because I wanted to take full advantage of the latest version of android and in my region, it would only appear couple of months after plus i'm a developer and custoner requests apps/sites to function over android 6, and i had 5. I cannot do the debug and the workflow for me since i dont have access to latest versions...
Thank you,

"Dear Marius,
Thank you for your patience.
I have received the necessary code you need to use in order to root your device.
Bootloader code: EDITED
As explained in our previous e-mails, please note that using the bootloader code and rooting the device will void the warranty.
I hope this proves to be of assistance and wish you a wonderful day! Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Also, in the following hours you will receive an email with a short survey regarding the experience you had with Huawei Customer Care. We would really much appreciate your feedback."
Hope this help you

I've called Huawei hotline, it seems that they are doing maintenance for the boot unlock code page on their website and probably will be back this May. i was advised to check again after a week.

Hello dude,
keep the data is possible making opportune backups previously,
becouse of unlocking bootloader will factory reset your phone.
Those questions has been asked a ton of times so you will find many guides / tools,
just type in 'yellow box' "search thread" and you'll find what you're looking for...
Follow guides and use mind, ask for help in that thread, that's all....
You can also take a look at this thread...
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Hi
I just looked at your link and thus the application 'dc unlocker'. It's not very clear to buy credits. Is any email address provided or the one used to create the mobile gmail account?
Hi,
I just watched this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR7McTBUw7w
Can you confirm that it's ok for me? I do not want to 'brick' my mobile.
@toto6976
hey, i was just looking that you replaced... next time use 'quote or @' when reply a post
otherwise cannot know when you answer
I never used dc unlocker, i don't think it will brick your phone, maybe it could help you unlock the bootloader,
but i can't confirm that...
If i were you i will look at @k1ll3r8e toolkit that can unlock BL, flash recovery, guide you root your phone....
all with a single toolkit..
You can also use fastboot, or do nothing, always will remain your choise, remember that...
All links you can find in previous post.
Read carefully the GUIDES
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
I also found this tutorial in Spanish. Easier for me What do you think ?
https://conexionlatam.blogspot.com/...howComment=1528362724703#c6186127662578266317
I looked for the toolkit, but I did not find it. By cons I found this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...nt/europe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873
What is the name of the toolkit? I do not see what to download.
While browsing the lines, I do not see either 'oeminfo's & custom.bin's' corresponding to my mobile:
VNS-L31C432B412 EMUI: 5.0.1 Android 7.0 version.
I downloaded this :

Hi, if you think spanish is more easier then use that... ( i have not readed your link !!! )
but finally you finded the toolkit, by my side the best method....
oeminfo+custombin are present for your variant but you don't need them in order to root your phone,
those are used to de/rebrand or/and to convert from single to dual sim and vice versa...
As i already told you read carefully what's written in toolkit, do one thing at a time, use brain...
If your choice is the toolkit, do not forget to thank the developer ..
has made this available to all users .... thank you man :good:
Best regards

Hello
I will finally take the toolkit.
I have two small questions: I do not see my mobile in the screen tutorial 2. L31C432B412.
If there is no, can I stop the current process?

Hi,
I watched the imaged tuto of k1ll3r8e. On the second image, there is a tab 'packages' with the list of 'devices'. It is in this list that I do not see mine (in fact the orange operator B412). I am not reassured at the idea of installing a package from another operator.
What do you think ?
My default files are missing
Hello dear fellows,
I am using a Huawei P9 Lite and recently I gave it to a repair shop for registration in Turkey. As I search on Internet, I know that my phone had to be rooted and its IMEI must have been changed. Now, I cannot see some default files like Files which shows the storages in my menu and also some of the icons in settings are missing. Actually, I cannot see my Huawei ID and cloud icon and also system update icon for updating my EMUI is no more there! I hope that you guys guide me what should I do now? Could it be fixed?

Hey dude,
you are writing a lot of crap, who ever talked about the packages you should need ??
B412 orange operator ??
You have a VENUS (VNS) phone (also called p9 lite (2016)) with EUROPEAN cust (C432) and latest dual sim FIRMWARE (B412).
Have you readed link i posted you ?? Surely not...
If you had read that link, you would have seen in my last post that there is a guide on how to root the phone using that toolkit..
My last piece of advice is ... GIVE UP !! .. (sorry if i wrote that)

Hello,
you wrote in a wrong thread.
Look for how to rollback maybe using HWOTA or DLOAD method or look for UNIFIED HELP THREAD,
you should know what exactly is your variant/firmware (ex. VNS-L31C185B360)
Best regards
Sorry,
I am not such an expert in mobile stuff, but I am seeing that my phone's build number is NRD90M test-keys. I have no idea what it is! But someone told me that since your phone has been rooted, the operating system has been completely changed which you cannot also update your system and you have to go to one of the Huawei representatives for flashing your phone again and make the operating system as before. But then, your telecommunication registry will be deleted again. Would you please tell me what is these methods you named?! and will it be useful for bringing back my phone ?

Hi, I installed 'adb', connected the mobile, enabled debug mode usb and oem.
I run the toolkit and it puts me 'no packages found'.
@phoemo
Hey man,
NRD90M test-key is an incomplete firmware, that's the reason you haven't all your apps...
Rooting phones won't change stock ROM, it must be intentionally done...
Look back at your phone and see what variant you have (L21 , L31 or other),
you should also know if your phone is single or dual sim.
Last thing, in setting look for EMUI version (ex 4.0.1/4.0.3/5.0, etc...)
Theorically linving in turkey you should have C185 CUST but i'm not really sure (it's for nord africa/middle east region),
maybe you had a branded version, but none exept you could know that !!
Now with those info go in UNIFIED HELP THREAD and request your help,
the more you will be precise in the phone info, the greater the possibility of being helped, and bring back to a full working device...
I cannot help you more dude, that's what i know about this stuff.
Wish you the best
