Can i root again or not - Samsung Galaxy J5 Questions & Answers

I don't know if I can root again my j5. Yesterday I installed a custom recovery (twrp) in j5 2015 (v 6.0.1 marshmallow) and root my device successfully. Then by mistake I untick oem unlock and restart my phone. Then I got a message saying " Custom binary locked by frp or fap don't remember exactly. I installed Samsung kies 3, enter download mode and flash new firmware successfully. Today I was about to install custom recovery again and when I went into download mode, I noticed something different. Warranty void 0x1 (2) I google it but in every forum, every post it showing that have in front know but in my phone its just saying "warranty void 0x1 (2)" anyway my question is if I can install again custom recovery and root without bricking my device because of this message. Please answer soon.

[Q] Possible Soft Brick? S4 AT&T

Hey guys,
I decided that I wanted to root my phone for a custom rom. I used towelroot and odin to root my phone. It rooted successfully.
Heres where the problem is:
I installed twrp, and scrolled through menu options so I could install a Recovery. However, whenever I tried to install the rom, it would always take me to the default boot menu, therefore i was unable to get a rom. Long story short, twrp has caused my download mode menu to enable write protection. I went onto supersu, and removed my root. I just want to go back to factory/ stock rom and remove root. I downloaded samsungs firmware from their site and tried using odin, but this gives me a fail and states that "complete (write) operation failed".
My phone displays:
SGH-I337
Samsung Official
Custom system status
Knox kernal lock: 0x0
Knox Warranty viod: 0x0
CSB-config-lsb 0x30
write protection: enable
eMMC burst mode enable
I have tried to flash it back to stock so many times. Now I am getting a msg that says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" -kies does not help remove this.
-I am using the original cable
-I can only boot into recovery and download mode.
-My main goal is to go back to stock.

What firmware version are you on? You're probably going to have to use odin to get your phone working correctly again.

If you upgraded past 4.4.2 mdlish then you have to safestrap.
Sounds like a soft brick to me, you have to Odin back and try again.
Make sure you Odin back to what you have/had or your stuck forever with safestrap.
If you don't know how to Odin read the giant back to stock guide.

TWRP 3.0 now says "system software not authorized by ATT..."

My phone has the unlocked bootloader and I upgraded the phone to TWRP 3.0 today, but now is shows a samsung custom screen and won't allow me to get into recovery after I flashed.
"Secure fail:kernal"
Any advice?
Well this is exactly what happened to me today. + Knox Warranty Void = 0x1
Apparently you have to bypass your bootloader using LOKI first and then install TWRP.
Code:
Recovery Booting..
SECURE: SECURE MAGIC failure (recovery.img)
then it shows the same message.
Reboot into Download Mode
Flash NB1 using ODIN. (Your data will be erased)
Done.
Or you just use flashify and flash the JDCTeam's twrp3.0 build like I did. That tripped counter means nothing, unless you somehow still have an S4 under manufacturer warranty.

Help Please!?

Hi everyone! I want to say thanks for all the great info you provide in these forums! You have helped me root many devices successfully. This is my first time posting a thread here, and I hope someone can help me. Here goes...
I have the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime U.S. Cellular (SM-G530R4) that I am trying very hard to root. I tried King Root, which said it could root my device, but after doing so the first restart of the device resulted in a soft bring with big message saying Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock. I've done hours of research and that seems to be common problem. So I downloaded and Flashed Stock firmware back to the device successfully. I did more research on rooting my phone and all I can find for other methods is CF Autoroot. Typically this works well for me, but on this phone it is not. Here is whats happening when I try to flash CF Autoroot -
I enabled USB Debugging, restart my phone in download mode and connect to USB. In Odin I select PDA and select the CF Autoroot TAR file. Click on Start. Odin reports: File analysis-success, setupconnection, initialization, Get PIT for mapping, firmware update start, singledownload, recovery.img, NAND write start, FAIL! complete(write) operation failed.
At this point I look at the phone which on the download screen reports: Product Name-SM-G530R4, Current Binary-Samsung Official, System Status-Official, FRP Lock- On, Knox Warranty Void- 0x0, Qualcom Secure Boot- Enable (CSB), AP SWREC: S1 T1 H1 R1 A1 P1, Secure Download-Enable, CUSTOM BINARY(RECOVERY) BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK. (Note that when trying to flash CF Autoroot, the FRP lock message includes "Recovery" where as when the device was already rooted with King Root and then restarted, the message did not contain the "Recovery" but was otherwise identical and stand alone in BIG letters. With the device already rooted by King Root, FRP Lock actually bricked the device. But when trying to root with CF Autoroot, FRP lock only blocked the flashing and I am able to restart the device and load up as if nothing ever happened. I really want to root my phone, but I need your help to make FRP Lock allow flashing the custom binary, and to do so without soft bricking it!! Ive seen a lot of people with the problem of FRP Lock softbricking their phones, but I can't find anything at all on FRP Lock stopping you from even flashing the custom binary. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!
P.S. If its of any importance The device is US Cellular SM-G530R4 - Android 5.1.1 - Baseband Version G530R4TYU1AOL2 [This is the newest Update] - Build Number LMY47X.G530R4TYU1AOL2

Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge Rooting Issues

I rooted my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge successfully through the use of CF auto root and odin. After sometime I was trying to disable fused location with the app named Disable Services when my phone rebooted and gave me the error "Custom Binary blocked by FRP lock". So I researched and found a solution which was to download a firmware on to my device with odin. I downloaded this firmware from a site called sammobile
which was successful.
Now the problem is that whenever I try to re-root my device it gives me the error "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" which I bypass by booting from recovery mode but when I check the root access it is not available.
So how can I re-root my device?
Note: Though root access is not available I still cannot update my phone because it says that it is modified.
Model number: SM-G935F
did you know that to root and/or install custom roms or recoveries, you have to have OEM Unlock checked. And after you can't go and uncheck it or else it will fail to boot and gives you that FRP lock words. just something i found out. Just leave it if you are rooting your device, if you want to go back to stock, you can then go and uncheck OEM unlock. later

SM-G906L bootloader + unlocked? Rooted twrp but stuck with bootloader

I've got a rooted Samsung S5 SM-G906L (korean) and I've successfully installed resurrection remix via a twrp flash: V5.6.3-20160212-lentislte.zip
It all went well but when I reboot I now just get "set warranty bit : Kernel" - i think the bootloader is locked
I think my bootloader is locked but after reading many forums I still can't tell whether it's locked AND more important i can't unlock it.
I'd like to get RR working but atm it looks like I need to restore my backup or go to stock firmware (both of which can be done)
Ive tried adm and other suggestions still cant install rom.
In download mode it says:
Odin mode
Qualcom secureboot: Enable (CSB)
Reactivation lock: off
Secure download: enabling
UDC start
Help!!!!
