Hi, I bought a new zenfone selfie and it does not detect the headphones. (the radio asks for headphones and the music player plays only through speakers)
I have tried 4 different headphones which work fine on other phones.
I got the phone replaced by the seller and the new one presents the same problem.
Is this a known software problem? I am on the stock rom ww...1887...20160903
EDIT: Solved, once I installed CM 14.1 it worked ... it's a software problem

I have flashed Cyanogenmod 14.1 and now headphones are recognized and radio works fine

After switching from WM to Android, people often complain they can barely hear me while talking through my H710 bluetooth headset, that works perfectly well in WM and/or with PC. How do i reconfigure it to actually work properly ?
PS: let me clarify again, i am talking about the OUTGOING audio, the one received by the other party. The audio volume on my side is fine.

Just wanted to add, i've tested the very same ROM on the very same kernel with a different earphone (Nokia BH-105, borrowed it from a coworker), and it is working perfectly well, meaning it's also headset dependent, too

I am thinking about just buying a different headset, can you tell the headset you are trying so i wouldn't even try that one ?
The headsets are not the problem.. the problem is in Sense ROMs.. i suggest you trying CyanogenMod roms.. some said that that bluetooth issue is sorted out!
I have a similar problem. I tried using two different headsets: mono - Bluetrek Sense and stereo - Plantronics 590. Both worked fine with the original firmware windows mobile. But after installing the Android firmware RAFDROID HD 4.0.2, my voice with a microphone headset is too quiet.

They worked flawlessly on my moto x play smartphone

what ROM do u use? I use my cheap noname bluetooth earbuds and everythink is okay on my x829 with AOKP ROM. Couco92 and all other ROMS i flashed.
I use stock rom.+ when i try to install twrp recovery, fastboot says done, but i cant reboot to recovery + i unlocked my phone

1) ViperFx not working on any rom..
2) Whenever connected to Car Bluetooth Audio there is a constant beep sound from car speaker... (my other phone is working fine with car bluetooth)

Controlling Music via Earphones is not working in my One Plus 6T.
Call receiving and rejecting is also not working.
I observed this issue after Android 10 update.
