2 versions again.... NMF26U and NMF26V.

Are we to assume that the "V" version is for the Verizon variant?

Not necessarily. We'll have to wait until Google adds additional information.

Per Verizon, They're pushing out U (https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/google-pixel-xl-update/)

Damn two versions! Which one should be downloaded, for Indian models?

I've updated my SDK, V is failing to flash for me...

Fastboot. Just says can't update bootloader and radio and quits. Sideload just flashed but said an error with the cache partition was detected but did complete.

So V is for non Verizon units?

Totally up to you. My bootloader is unlocked so I can switch versions without wiping data easily. If your bootloader is unlocked, you should be able to do this too.

FWIW: both "U" and "V" have the same radio. But we still don't know what markets each update is intended for.

"U" is apparently for Verizon.

FWIW, I just finished flashing the "V" version via fastboot flash-all command with removing the -W flag on my unlocked VZw version and everything booted up just fine with the updated version.

I'm curious as to whether or not anything other than the security update is included

Npf26j ota zip

Edit 2: speculation be damned. This seems to be a true release build and not a leaked developer preview like has been hypothesized. Flagged REL for a release build. https://imgur.com/uU0bR2S
THIS IS FOR PIXEL XL ONLY OF COURSE. November 22nd OTA Build NPF26J
Includes bug fixes and performance enhancements. New Modem and Kernel. Kernel updated to include Double Tap To wake and Lift to Wake. May be other features. Don't know.

Edit: Apparently you have to be on V build before flashing.

Thank you, I thought I read it somewhere but can't find out where.
I'm not going to update anyway, perfectly happy with the way the phone is running with ElementalX kernel and don't want to mess it up
Will there be an update for the NDE63X build eventually or will we have to roll back to the V build?
I bought my pixel from Google but use on Verizon. My phone is running NDE63X. Should I be on V? Anybody else purchase from Google and run on Verizon that can confirm their build for me?

any phone with a verizon sim will get verizon builds which should be x. You can flash to v if you want to without harm.

Dec Security patch is live nmf26o

here is the link for reference: https://developers.google.com/android/images
I have a Google play Store phone, but since I have a Verizon SIM it installed the Verizon firmware and so I have to wait until they release. I had hoped this wouldn't happen with Verizon stating they would release the same time as Google, but here I am.

I am in the same boat... It should be available shortly (or so I hope). No reason to believe otherwise this soon after release. :good:
I guess it looks like O is for the V version. I wish they would just label this stuff every time.

The full factory images are available so yes. Just remember to remove the -w command from the script so it won't wipe your data.

Excellent!
Hey all, quick question and sorry if this should be in a different section...
I have the VZW Pixel, but used beups depixel8 for bootloader unlock. I am running stock NDE63V with a T-Mobile Sim. Can I flash the factory image with leaving out the bootloader? Or can I go ahead and just flash the whole image without the -w command.
Thanks!
Installing now, this better fix my lack of bluetooth in the car or I'm going to be sad.

I was reading here and wondered why they'd get it before anyone else I guess it makes sense now...
And here and here
I just got my Pixel 2 XL from Verizon this weekend.
How long does Verizon delay the updates to their models?
Wow, would have guessed it would drop late this month since dp2 was just released a little over a week ago.
Anyone up north receive the update yet?

Was on DP2 and manually flashed the official 8.1 in fastboot. Upon bootup I was prompted with an OTA update for DP2.

What'd you use to root 107-75? I updated to it as soon as I received the phone, but didn't check if there was a root available prior and I couldn't find an updated stock ROM to patch the boot.img. No luck going to an earlier version, but maybe I was doing something wrong.
Thanks!
