[Q] GUYS HELP SOS! Lg e405 semi bricked!

My problem is i accidentaly wiped the cache partition in my LG E405 using CWM recovery. When I turn on my phone, it's stocked in the LG screen and it isnt moving.
I tried restoring thru the back up in cwm but but it says "Error While Restoring System.
I tried some advices in the net, wiping dalvik cache, wiping cache partition and then hard reset, but still it doesnt work.
I tried installing the ICS ROm CM9 thru Recovery Mode, but the Installation is aborted, the phone says. It says "assert failed: getprop..error in the zip file somethng like that".
I want to try the KDZ, but I cant download a new ROM from lg-phone-firmware.com, it takes me to tny.cz and I cant find the skip button.
It's really important that this phone is fixed for so many reasons, the main is I'm broke and I dont have a cent in my pocket. I also need for communication.
Please help me. Im desperate already. I know it's my fault because I wasnt careful. I was careless. SOS guys!
How to unbrick

First thing you need to do is download CWM from developer then Reinstall CWM, (before download CWM Check whether your PC or laptop infected by virus to prevent CWM.zip corrupted)
Using KDZ Updater is the final Choice.

A little info for those stuck at 49% using LG Flash Tool

I just want to share my experience after a bad flash and no way to recover.
I was still able to get to TWRP. I had flashed a Rom and it went bad. Long story short. No Loki causing boot into fastboot screen.
Tried using flash tools to restore stock with kdz. No good kept stopping at 49% because it was not the expected firmware.
The fix.
Wipe system in recovery then try again. With system wiped. The firmware matches and installs as expected.
Just wanted to share my experience. Maybe it will help someone else with the same problem.

What fixed it for my friend was "format data," as in internal storage as well.
Thank you!

Hi, sorry for my english , I'm french
I wanted to flash a custom rom on my LG G2 D802 .
I wanted the Paranoid Android (PA +) with 4.3 JellyBean .
So I made the
Backup
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik Cache
After I
Choose zip ( custom ROM ) from sd card
Then I
Reboot System Now
And turn on my laptop, I get an error message saying
[640 ] started Fastboot Mode
[ 690] udc start ()
I realized I had to flash AOSP kernel before changing to a ROM paranoid . But my kernel is blocked and so I have to go back to the stock ROM
When I did this tutorial using lg tools , flashing stops at 49% with an error message .
I also saw that I could access the recovery mod by following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565904(but I saw that I could not otherwise reboot my phone after it was bricking ) and therefore flash my stock Rom which I had made the backup . But I do not know if the ROM has been saved and if it remained in my files after the Wipes.
If it is not there, is that in buying a micro USB ====> HUSB adapter, I could install a stock ROM from a USB key ? Or is there a way I can put files from my computer to my laptop which has no port micro sd?
And is what I could with my kernel "blocked " ?
Thank you very much

It sounds like you have access to recovery, so you can use adb to push or pull files from your phone. Your backup should still be on your phone, as long as you didn't wipe the internal storage.
I'd suggest pulling the important photos/videos/backup/files/etc from your phone to your computer, then wiping internal storage or wipe factory reset. Then hopefully it wont get stuck at 49%, as that is what I did for my friend's D801 to allow it to go back to stock 100%.
Exactly what i keep telling people with the same issue, Just do a full wipe in cwm/twrp before restoring to stock. the problem is allot of them can't get into recovery :silly:
Thanks for sharing! Will be useful someday

Reading vs980 now I have no recovery, flash tool does not work ( says wrong phone) rayglobe runs perfect but all maps dealong with root sees a 802 phone. Anyone have a idea how to fix this?

Search is your friend, any app that can edit the build prop should work, please make a backup of your build prop. if you get it wrong your device will not boot.
Ok I found a thread on here about how to use file explorer to change the build prop it says there r 2 entries I need to change but my question is do I change it from d802 to vs980 or vs980b?

Need help: failed to mount cust invalid argument

Hope somebody can help! After flashing TWRP, I accidentally flashed a wrong ROM. Now I can't flash any ROM because Cust can't be mounted, "failed to mount '/cust' (invalid argument)".
Please help, thanks!
Can't remember the exact commands, but I would download stock rom and flash using ADB. That way you are just starting over. You should be able to find ample ADB instructions by Googling how to flash stock with ADB.

I just found they can use ADB Sideload to flash stock rom. Unfortunately, my phone can't load to get USB Debugging enable.
My guess would be to try a wipe in twrp first then load the stock rom. You are over my head at this point.

Already tried wipe and format, but it did not work. I still can't flash new rom, "failed to mount '/cust' (invalid argument)".
- Flash stock BTV-DL09C233B030 through TWRP, it still did not work, "failed to mount '/cust' (invalid argument)".
- Format and advanced wipe did not work, "failed to mount '/cust' (invalid argument)".
- adb fastboot flash system, recovery, boot.... did not work.
- Dload stock BTV-DL09C233B030, it was incompatible with current version, failed at 5%.
Last choice was to send the device to the Huawei Service Center: Worked! I did not know what they had done with my device. After waiting for 20mn, they gave back my device with everything working again. And it was back to BTV-DL09C209B009. However, the bootloader was still unlocked. I was charged $5 for the service. Or they told me if they could not have solved this, I would be charged $162 for exchanging with new device in box.
After that, what I had tried was to do factory reset and go to ADB oem relock. Now my device was bootloader locked!
any solution?
I am facing the same problem with my Lenovo Zuk Z2 Plus - any way to resolve this for any / all devices?
Have tried to flash the stock ROM, reformatting, repairing FS, changing FS format, etc to no avail.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

LENOVO SERVICE CENTER maybe ?
Service center is the last resort! There sold be something that we can do as users.
I have access to copy zip files to flash via twrp, but the flashing / modifying / writing, etc fails with the Mount /custom message. So this is more of a software config bug I believe.
It depends:
- Which ROM?
- How you flashed it?
Without correct informations we can't help...
Tried all ROM's, now it is without OS.
The phone was just a day old. I unlocked the boatloader with the file from zuk.
Then flashed twrp.
Then tried installing lineage 14.1 unofficial, which failed with the same error.
Hence I did a factory reset and then tried mokee. Which also failed.
Tried RR - no go.
Tried mounting from twrp - no go.
Tried adb side load - no go.
Tried flashing back stock ROM via QPST - no go.
Now it had become more of a challenge to did this weird issue.
PS - when I try the ROM's now, it says "this device is Z2121" while I know it is Z2132, because it is the lenovo z2 plus India version!

Flash TWRP Recovery and then boot into it. After that, you can WIPE your internal storage to free space. Then you don't have to worry regarding memory.
1- Flash twrp on your phone using adb.
2 -Boot into recovery but don't remove the usb connection.
3 -Clear all data, cache, internal, etc. (Do this only if you have backed up important data.)
4 -Have a stock rom (or the rom you are trying to install) downloaded on the pc.
5 -After you have cleared the data, move the rom from the pc to your phone.
6 -After the rom has been moved, remove the connection and flash it.
7 -Do this after you confirm everything works. (twrp, the rom, etc.)
Also, I urge everyone who wants to flash their phone to have stock android rom backed up on your pc, always.
In case anything goes wrong you can always flash stock rom and start over again.

-1- Download stock ROM on your PC.
-2- Boot into twrp, preferably through adb command. ('adb reboot recovery')
-3- Do not remove the usb cord, and once the device is booted into recovery type 'adb kill-server'. You don't need adb now but don't unplug your device from PC.
-4- Once into recovery, clear everything. (Data, cache, internal, etc.)
Note - This will clear everything, even the OS. If you don't have external sd card wiping external will result in error. Don't worry.
-5- Having your android connected to the phone, copy & paste the stock ROM folder into your internal storage on PC.
-6- After it has been moved, you can unplug your phone and flash the stock ROM via recovery.
You can delete the stock ROM zip file in your phone to free up space using any file manager, if you have said ROM backed up on your PC.
You will lose all your data so have a backup of important data. Also your phone will be made as new, so you will have to flash recovery again, root again, etc.
You can find stock ROM on 'techolite.com'. Just search 'a6000 stock rom updated frequently' and you will find it.
Download the one pertaining to your model.
