G2 screen dim around the edges - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sometimes I see it less, sometimes more, it's most noticable on dark backgrounds, BlackPlayer for example. It looks like colors are washed out but not the whole screen just around the edges of left, right and upper corner. I tried taking a picture of it but it doesn't show so I had to draw it to give a clue on how it looks like. It's pretty accurate. Could the screen be failing or is it an issue with connectors or something?

Viewing angle set wrong?

My Alltel 6800 works great, except for the viewing angle. If I look straight on at the screen, the colors (especially darkest black) appear as they would if you looked at a normal lcd from an obtuse angle. The blacks go to copper, colors go weird, etc. If I view the screen from a 45 degree angle (top or bottom), it looks almost perfectly correct. It seems strange that this would be a physical installation problem with the screen, as the viewing angle is almost 45 degrees off, so how could the screen be so wrongly placed? I am wondering if any other setting would have an effect on the device like this. It has been this way from stock, to new roms, through hard reset, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Matrix of Dots on the Screen

Hi Everybody,
I got the HTC Desire HD from a time, just i am asking about something
There is a matrix of dots which is visible under the screen in certain light conditions (when the Screen is off), I know this is the Multitouch Matrix and this is normal
but i have other Grid of Dots on the surface of the screen itself, you can see it when you illuminate the screen and there is a white background for example or any solid color, is this considered normal
what is this other Matrix
Note : this one appears on the surface of the Glass of the Screen, I also noticed it on HTC HD7 but it was very strong than the Desire HD Case
What is this Matrix
Thanks
If I'm honest I think it's the exact same matrix of dots...
If I close either my left or right eye, I can't see it any more, but when they're both open I can see it, though it flickers between alternate dots.
If I then tilt the screen then some appear and some disappear. i think it's just the white background playing tricks with the eyes. They appear red to me also...
I think it's the same one, just looking a bit weird because of the backlight...
There are two layers/arrangements of dots. A grid of dots about 1mm apart and a grid of dots about 5mm apart.
you should see the matrix/diagonal lines on the screen of the Archos 101! very visible at any angle when screen is off

Reading and color fade with black background

So I've noticed a very slight, but annoying issue on my Fire. When I'm reading with a black background and white text, I find the whites on the left side of the screen is bright white, then gradually fades to a duller white towards the right side. I flipped the screen to make sure I wasn't crazy, and then the whites were on the right side.
Is this a manufacturing defect, or an issue they all have? Granted, it's subtle, but still is starting to distract me when I'm reading at night and don't want the bright white background.
As an alternative, is there a way to adjust colors in the native reading app (besides the three preset)? I've sideloaded Aldiko, but the right sides of text cut off.

Screen uneven brightness

Has anyone noticed uneven brightness on the screen.
Mine appears slighter darker (a little blueish) along the length of the left hand side. It's barely noticeable but if you look it can be seen

Look at the black picture. There are several fixed pixels on the screen.

My xa2(h4133) turns off the light at night and looks at the black picture, the brightness is the highest,it can clearly see four color pixels: white, red and green, one in the upper left corner and two in the lower right corner of the screen,my version number is 50.2.A.0.352,I tried to take pictures,it was too small to capture,do you have any of them, please?
By the way, look at the black picture. Is there light on both sides of the screen?
RMA, I also had some (much more) dead pixels. They replaced the screen, now everything is perfectly OK.
