More votes are needed as many Dual Sim phones Need sim Enable/Disable feature.This feature was present in earlier Cyanogenmod versions but was remove in Cyanogenmod 13 and 14.1 . Your vote would bring Sim Enable and Disable switch in Setting>Sim Cards for Dual Sim Model. This is important feature because if user wants to disable sim then he has to remove it. and to enable it again he has to insert the SIM Card again and this damages SIM Card Slots.

It's a hardware, if the US version supports only single SIM then you can't flash another firmware from a dual SIM variant to get the functionality.
If your device has just one SIM slot, then you can't add another just like that. But then again, there's also a possibility to swap the SIM card reader module from a dual SIM variant to the single SIM one but there may be some downsides to it like the size difference of the modules, possibility of a slightly different connector and what not. I haven't tried this but it may or may not work.
I am using a jio sim and and idea sim on my phone
Jio is working fine in both the slots but idea sim is not working and when i insert a sim card from other operators it shows different names

Would be interesting what device variant, rom version and bootloader status you have.
But it is a very localized problem, maybe users from your country with the same provider cards can help.

My Moto G4 Plus did not recognize the SIM due to poor physical contacts. A single layer of clear shipping tape to the top of the SIM card made it a tiny bit more snug in the slot and then it worked.

Hello, I added the possibility of installing an eSIM card in my offer. The phone is for one sim card, but after uploading the NFE Rom, I activated adding the eSIM card, the problem is that the second imei has all zeros, is there an xposed module (Lsposed 1.8.6) to assign a fake imei to the eSIM profile? Is it at all doable
